i just have found the solution mate,install lite version and you have the round taskbar working just fine!!!!!!
Edit:the problem from the battery is gone but now there is no reception bars anymore so don't install this
I've tried that..I still have the reception bars, but still don't have the battery percentage
i have tryed to change some dll files and finally its working for me,i try to put a working cab togheter for you....

ok and the last one i provide is not working?
just tried your last one...it hasn't changed from the previous one I installed from my link (signal bars are still a variety of colours which looks awful), so it looks like it hasn't installed correctly and left the old images...even though I tried it twice.
Might have to do a manual install, images and dll step by step

All you guys might have to do is either edit icons.mode9 manila file and set visible=false under the icons you don't want displayed (there are 3 references/icon - 1 big preview, 1 for off, and 1 for on). You need to just add the line visible=false under each qtc for _on and _off icons. You can do this easily with m9editor.
You could also do a dirtier way of just making the icons totally transparent. This could be easily accomplished by downloading a custom icon set for your manila version, creating a transparent png square the size of the icon, and using cfcgui to replace all of the small icons in the slider with the transparent png. The bigger icon is used for the preview on your screen.
I've attached a cab using the 'dirty' way of doing it. The slider has a line at the bottom as suggested by Prodildo. It should work with 2.5.1921, 2.5.1922, 2.5.2011 and maybe others (slider I took the files from was compatible with those). The only problem I noticed was the date is still displayed on the invisible calendar icon (the 1 in the screenshot). That can probably be fixed in a mode.9 file, but I am at work and do not have access to a manila file dump.
**edit - I added the fix for the date doesn't show now on the invisible icon (but does show on big icon while switching tabs)

My friend hello. Tried today your task bars. Excellent job on my Touch2. Just one notification. You should change in "johan_blackbar_v1_2.cab" the battery icon, with the one you have put in "johan_taskbar_orb_v1_1.cab", because in Touch 2 it isn't readable very easy. Apart from that 1.2 is fine and the device works without any problem. THNX

Yes its beautiful widgets small home. The icons was anotherr thread sorry. All u have to do is go to the market and buy bettercuts($1.99) then the android 2.0 icon pack(free). The bettercuts app lets u use whatever icon pack u want tio use its pretty cool!!
p.s. just type icons in search in the market there are TONS of different icons u can get BUT U HAVE TO get bettercuts to be able to change them. And it will only change the icons on the home screens not when u click all programs
I have attempted to flash both of these over fresh 1.1 through recovery as well as through fresh's pre-kitchen and I get stuck @ boot every time. Neither of them will take at all for me. Ideas?

I've been trying to find a task bar theme that does not use such lame-ass, original, and bland icons for SMS, Headset, etc.
What do you need help with? The task bars look pretty complete to me. I also wouldn't mind having it. I do slider icons and clock work but I have yet to actually play with the taskbar icons myself.

There are some bugs that need to get fixed like some icons don't show up, etc..
So what's happening with them ? Are the not applying from the start or do they apply then revert?
I feel humiliated I put so much work into making a taskbar with some of your icons and now you decide to share them. . . . . . . .

The only icons that are not applying are the 3g icon, the edge icon and the gprs icon

Yeah, it was better for me to let them think that the taskbars has been photoshopped, that way they wouldn't bother asking me to share but now I changed my mind and I'm going to prove them wrong
zip all the dll's and icons and I'll have a look at what's wrong.
I'll believe these taskbar icons are real when they are available for download.
Lots of those images in the 1st post are blatantly photoshopped imo.

Yes, you just can't get such good contrast on the icons like that.. Also the image below clearly shows photoshop because you can't get the icon to go all the way down to the bottom of the taskbar (to the grey line) in WM6.5 (WM6.5.3 you can).

Here's a neon slider I did to go with the neon clock theme in my clock thread, It comes in all the colors like the clocks with either the original bar or neon version. Only tested on my device so no idea if it will work on yours so test it and reply.

Uninstalling the cab should remove it, exactly what parts does it leave behind after a soft reset? Do you have the up to date version for HQ wallpaper patch?

was just about to edit my post.... when I uninstall it reverts back to the original htc icons on the slider with a neon box and a line above and below the icons.
also, it messes with the volume control whilst on the music tab, I just get a black block aprox 1cm thick down the side, is this due to the hq wallpaper patch?
You'll have to excuse my ignorance but I've no idea what that is

My apologies I thought you were talking about the wallpaper (Its late here ) What manila / ROM version are you using? I have no idea how a slider can interact with the volume controls.
tried installing over it then uninstalling but still no luck. I've seen a cab somewhere to fix the volume thing, reckon that'l work here?

You can try it, Ive never heard of this problem before. To revert back to the original slider, try installing a slider that works (not mine) then uninstall it. It may be the T mobile ROM I don't know. So this only happens to my slider? I'll have a look at it tomorrow when I'm actually awake.
Ok I've managed to clear the slider after lots of back and forth uninstalling....
Only the blue one seemed to work, the others made all icons disapear as someone else posted before. The volume thing is not the fault of your wonderful creation after all..... looks like it was the taskbar i just installed, sincerest apoligies for that
Edit; Dont worry about looking into it man its cool, I've no idea if it happens with other sliders because I've never bothere trying one until I saw yours. Now I just need to find a taskbar that doesnt screw with my volume control..
