What happen if upgrade was interrupted and now it does not turn on? This process make invalid the warranty? Is there a way to repair it?
The phone turn on, but only show a image of error of connection interrupted.
But not is detected by my Laptop. There are a way to repair????
Try powering while holding the 5-key (F-key). Then you can try a master reset. Maybe?

I tried to upgrade my Mda pocket pc. After trying it now keeps resetting itself over and over. Everytime I turn it on, I get the windows welcome theme, and then it wants to install the T-Mobile trash. Almost at the end it turns off, and after i put it on it starts all over again!
Any idea what to do?

While working on my PPC this weekend, I noticed that the system froze while just trying to open NYDITOT Virtual Display.
I tried doing a soft reset and after doing so the system freezes at the "Welcome to T-Mobile" bootup screen and it does not go into the OS (windows Mobile 2003 "Non-SE")
I tried pushing the soft reset button with the device OFF, without the battery, without the sim card, and nothing seems to work.
I cant even re-load the original ROM as Active Synch doesnt see the device due that I dont get into the OS.
Now luckely for me, T-mobile advised that i only had a 3 month warranty with them, which of course "expired" so i was hoping someone could suggest something that might help me resolve this problem.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

hi! i have an imate spl which was working ok. suddenly the camera stopped working, the camera application just freezes and doesnt switch on at all. the windows mobile busy cursor just keeps running. also, the task doesnt show in any of the running applications.any help available??
Hard Reset or update software if it fails stil could be hardware failure

tried ahard reset. attempted a rom upgrade. went fine....but had a power cut in between so my phone now shows a white screen which says update again, connect usb and wait. any way to get around that? i have my limited warranty intact. will this cover it? it was an official rom i tried to upgrade to, by the way. can u help?
Hello, thankyou everyone who takes the time to read this and to help. My HTC Touch Pro, the screen is completely black, it turns on and I can recieve calls and I know the keyboard works, but I cant even tell who it is or what I'm typing since the screen is blacklight and won't show anything. It powers on and off and charges and i can hear the sounds so I think its just a problem with the screen.
I've tried MyMobiler and Pocket Controller, but both cant work for me because I first need to connect to Activesynce or Windows Mobile Device Center, but I can't even see the password I'm typing so I can't unlock the phone to view it on my computer (( so I can't get it to connect to activesync or WMDC.
I really wish it was'nt locked with a password because then everything would be easier I'm so upset by this DDD:
I can't hard reset either because I can't see the screen at all.
Should I try to open it up and replace the screen&digitizer myself? I really don't want to try spending extra money fooling around with the phone if I'm not sure it'll work.
What I'd really love to know, does anybody know how to view the phones screen on the computer without having to unlock the password first from the phone? If anyone can help me with that or find some other method than I'd realyREALLYReallyyyy appreciate that sooo much. I could just type the password from the computer or hard reset and everything.
Or if theres any other method of fixing this that would help too...
Also, I can't take it to Sprint store because its out of warranty/insurance, so
I'm just trying to repair it myself. I've heard of this happening to people before but have'nt ever seen it get fixed.

Have you tried "Hard-Resetting" using the 3 Key Combo? (Hardware Mode)
Or were you trying with the "Clear Data" option? (Software Mode)
I had this when I went snowboarding with my Touch Pro. Turns out slamming the slider shut quite hard fixed the problem.

i lost my focus flash and i am finding it hard to trace it, i tried to use the windows phone locater but it does not help, the map does not show up, i tried to ring it but it ends with an error.
I stay in mumbai, india and have even lodged a police complaint.
