my upload speed sucks so it takes time mt dl speed is around 1.00mb-150kb
Is it based on the CDMA release or the GSM one?

ok wise guy i already reported it to the mods but ill post the rom in my how to root thread when i do get it uploaded so Wednesday prob since i got the day off

i wasnt trying to be wise dev, respect for all devs, i was js tryin to put some humor into the waitin process hehe, but yea next time would be nice to have it uploaded first

Why are you guys getting excited? This rom hasn't even run on hardware yet. I bet it doesn't even boot.
i just want the gps..i saw somethong cool that like puts you in a virtual world if you have turn by turn streetview gps. I want it sooo bad!!

Yes Bluetooth is working, I get sound, then it static
Should be easy enough to fix for the most part.
But hey, Its WORKING!

Hi Eugene
The problem is for us with a pin on the sim the keyboard that displays does not have a zero nor does it have a wrench - it also does not have an ok button.
so for me - i can enter my pin ok but i cannot press ok
Any help appreciated
This rom is built with pieces from several different roms,Legend,Incredible,and the new Damage.Almost everything works.You must wipe before flashing this rom or tweet and friend stream won't work right.

This is not the same as above roms.This rom should be smoother and more stable.It has ram tweaks.You need to Wipe,it might do it for you but just to make sure wipe before flashing.sorry There shouldn't be any problems with the pri or prl mine was 1.7 and60662 before and after!visual voicemail doesnt work.Yahoo mail won't let you sign in,just use the internet.I"ve used this rom for about a week,it's stable enough to use everyday.

My PRI was the 1.7 before this an it is still 1.7 shouldnt be a problem

I may take alook at this one.
After I first got my PRI fixed I was in my original backup which was 1.5. Went to Damage1 and my PRI was still the same. Went to Damage2.0 and my PRI changed. Fixed again and went back to 1.5 then back to Damage and PRI was still at 1.7xxxx.So it didn't change in the ROM that was suppose to mess it up in but changed after I switched ROMs. Anyways...I'm not sure why people are worried. Just install new ROM and update profile and PRL. See if it works. If not then do the fix in the current ROM.
Has anyone tried wired or wireless tether on this ROM yet?

I've struggled with this issue for days now... Maybe somebody can help.
I'm dropping most of my text messages. I can successfully send them, but I do not receive them.
I figured it was a problem with SuperbadCM 1.5, because the problem seemed to begin after I updated to 1.5. I've tried downgrading, flashing after a wipe, removing LauncherPro (memory issues?)... nothing fixed it. Then I tried the latest CM5.0.8t2 on a clean wipe, no good, and even flashed an old nandroid of King's 1.5 sense rom... still no message.
What could be the issue? AFAIK everything else works.
I doubt it matters, but I'm using a G1 latest radio and dangerspl. I'm not sure if a logcat of this is possible, but I'll provide whatever info necessary. Thanks for your help. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
if you know what rom it is from would it not make more sense to post in that rom thread and or use SEARCH to find if others witht he same rom are having the same issues and know of a fix....
have you tried a different rom? maybe an eclair 2.1 perhaps??
I've had the very same issue on DangerSPL. I'd recommend using Firerat's AnySPL Patch on Cyan's mod while using stock/Hard/Engineering SPLs.

makes sense, because the issue probably lies on a lower level than the rom. I'll try this now, thank you.
I flashed HardSPL over 2.22.23.02, then Firerat's AnySPL CM5.0.8t1. I'm still not getting text messages... Any other ideas? This is a pretty serious issue for me :/ what's most confusing is the problem occurred months after it was working fine.

What country are you in? I'll bet its the hsxpa and gprs class settings.
Also, you pretty much answered your own question in the first post, it happened after you went to a specific ROM, there's something wrong with it's settings.

I have no idea where this post is going...
But I got the problem sorted out... Proto was right, apparently I had a bad sim card somehow and got it swapped out. It wasn't the spl or any rom.
I think I let myself forget this is the internet -_- 1/9000 people are brilliant, the rest are hostile and dumber than bricks.

Did you try handcent sms? It has a workaround to an android bug that leads to sms loss when there's not enough memory available.
Yup. Baby steps. Last time this happened to me it was a network issue in my area and just had to wait it out. Any time I'm having SMS issues, I always call to see if the network is jacked up before heading another direction.
Did you not get a notification of a bad SIM? I thought these phones would have been able to detect a bad SIM... At any rate, I'm glad you got it fixed up.

I might be able to get a phone to test with. My gf let me put cm7 on her hd2 but won't let me touch her sk4g
Also after I finish my portfolio and study for finals I'm going to attempt some things with the recovery. Stay tuned though I bet someon beats me to it
