Hi, does anyone know of a tool that allow you to silence the ringing of incoming calls, but not reject them? If you've used a Symbian phone, then you might have come across the feature, anyone know how to get this functionality on WM5?
Cheers.
Friends!
I always keem my system volume low but ring volume at 80%. But when I receive the SMS it Notificatio plays at system volume, not at ring volume. Now how can I recover SMS notification Volume at ringer volume.
Is it so that, SMS alert Volume is System based Volume, not Phone base Volume ?
Previously I was using Photo Contact Pro but I have removed that, after that this issue arise.
I have this problem too..i dont want my System Volume at 100%, but i want to hear my incoming SMS...
Any solutions? Its it possible to put SMS and Mail tones into the Ringtone category?

Any help on this would be useful; as stated, it seems that the sms alert is system volume rather than ring volume, is this correct?
Thanks.
I have to +1 this, on my touch hd same thing, it's just plain stupid that MS put the reminders, sms and stuff to system volume!!! I see no point in doiing so, nobody with a fix for that?
Anything on this?
A bit different, but: Is there a programm that forces SMS notifications to vibrate/ring more than one time?

Not a real solution but a work around is you can increase the volume of the wav file you use for SMS notification.
Its very simple, copy the wav file to your XP desktop (not sure if vista is similar) and right cligh the file and choose record. Then from Effect choose "Increase Volume" and save file and copy back to your phone and use it as you SMS notification. If you need it to sound higher, click "Increase Volume" as many time as you want.
same problem here!
so far, i merged the system and ringer together and kip all of them at 100%, but i have to remember every time I'm listening to some music and decrees the volume to put the volume up again!
there must be a way ... please help
Hello All,
I have a roted sgs+ on XXKPS and i was wondering if there is any way to change the vibration intensity for notification? maybe through accessing the shell directly or maybe an easier method?
thanks
me too. if someone could make a mod for vibration for text longer it would be so good!
Everywhere I look, people are trying to silence all their system sounds with or without using silent mode. My wish, however, is quite the opposite.
I want to be able to have system sounds (lock / unlock / touch sounds, etc.) ON while having notifications and rings set to SILENT.
Even specialized apps like Ultimate Sound Control have system and ringer sounds linked. Can't mute or enable one without the other.
And I don't want to set ringer to silent and all notifications to silent and then increase volume. No, that would not be practical. I want to be able to use silent mode toggle to turn ringer/notification sounds and all ON when needed.
Am I the only weird one around? Is everyone so determined about this that Android has no possibility to do this?
Thank you if you have any solutions. My N5 is rooted, by the way.
Don't think it's possible. Sorry.
Hey guys, I have a question.
If my phone is on vibrate mode, there is a way that I can change that if some specific contact is calling me, it will ring with sound? If there is a, way, can you tell me how to do it please?
No

you might try a workaround for this, it cold be done by asigning a null ringtone for the desired contact and, using macrodroid or some other app of the same kind, you can use a macro or "activity" with a vibration action when receiving a call from a particular contact
Check modes and routines.
Add, if phone is on vibrate, if I receive a call from (chose your desired contact), then add what you want.
