Has anyone in North America tried installing one of the official European HTC Diamond2 rom upgrades? I am wondering if I can just install the UK version. I have an unlocked phone (my service provider does not sell any HTC products).

You would have to CID unlock and Hardspl your phone, and then you can run any Topaz rom you want, including official roms meant for phones from other carriers.

most likely this update s gonna come from tmobile itself not htc. so its the waiting game pretty much, i got the same phone.

Good luck,
As stated above, all official upgrades for branded phones come from the carrier, not HTC, It is up to T-Mobile to decide when or even if they are going to offer a 6.5 upgrade for their phones.
In the meantime go to the Rhodium section and learn how to unlock and flash you phone, then you will be able to upgrade your pone with any official or cooked rom you want.

I have bought an HTC Mozart in may and I am now getting more and more excited about the Mango update. I am wondering, though, If I have to wait for my Carrier to release the update.
My Carrier is t-mobile germany, but I unbranded my phone. Do I still have to rely on the gratitude for t-mobile?
If you have an unbranded phone, you won't have to wait for carrier approval.

how unbrand the phone? it just anough to remove sim lock?
I flashed an unbranded 7004 ROM from this forum. I do not think my phone was simlocked, though.

The phone was SFR branded when I get it.... I don't remember the version number it was...

It looks like it's a HTC One A9s. CID HTC_034 and xx.401.x firmware version suggests it is an unlocked WWE phone.

Yeah i bought it Online and they said also that it is an
One A9s. But yeah I looked in all Forums here on XDA and also Searched on Google, but Google didn't even find something for the One A9s .
So if there were some more RUUs my Device would be Compatible with all of them? (So i would not have to "Convert" it to another Version) Last Question, what does WWE Stand for?
WWE = world wide english.
