Hi,
I purchased HTC original extended battery 1340mAh.
When I charge it, it shows 91% charge, nomatter how long you charge it!
Soft reset fixes it, shows up normal after that all the time. Never had this on original 900 mAh battery.
ROM & Radio in my signature, also I use FInixNOverBatteryIcon to show % near battery! But that didn't had any inpact on original battery?!!?!?
Anyone knows what might be a problem?
Bro even i have HTC original extended battery 1340mAh but never got this issue.
I think that some thing is wrong with your battery pls give it back to your dealer so he will replace it for free.
Flashed Shack v4.0 ROM, before was using A.Z.T.O.R. x2.
Problem went away it's all good now!
I know the battery have been sold and people have problems with the way it looks and the extra thickness it will add to the phone. But my question is: "Has anyone tried it out and if so how long has it lasted with moderate to heavy use?" I haven't seen any reviews for them provided for the Evo.
I purchased a 3000 mAh battery off of eBay with a replacement back for the phone for $12. So far it has worked fantastic for me and allows me to go all day without having to charge the phone. The one I got is tinyurl.com / 2fakhnr (remove spaces). The extra thickness makes typing on the phone MUCH better. Before the phone was too thin and made it difficult to hold and type at the same time. Also the quality of the replacement cover is very good. It has a nice rubberized feel to it like the original cover for the phone. I've been through about 5 full charge/discharge cycles on it so far and the capacity seems to be increasing still. I figure a couple more and I'll be good to start charging it normally.
a bit of advice from anyone?
I just recently bought this on eBay

But It only last me about 4.75 hours when the standard htc evo 4g battery last me about 4.5 hours moderate/heavy use of course. I replied to the seller but my question is to you guys do I need a different type of charger with it or is it good charging just by the HTC Evo4G Charger that I have for my standard battery. What should I do? Any comments or anything.
Does anyone have any experience of http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....87534&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_2130wt_1132
It would be better if you get another geniuine htc desire battery and just alternate between them because somethimes these kinds of high capacity ones are just crappy chinese fakes and some times give you less battery than the original

A friend of me is using this 2400mAh battery
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EXTENDED-HIGH...831?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27b96b6d47
This doesnt make your Desire too fat like the 3000mAh and got significantly better times than the battery you chose because the stock battery also got 1400mAh, would be "just" a extension about 400 mAh...
Disadvantage: you can't use your stock protection case (if u do) because theres also a new case for that bigger battery
that battery is utter crap. worse than the orginal imo.

I've just bought an original battery from this seller for 8 GBP.

I have only done one full cycle on it, but I think it is genuine. It is a tiny bit different from my original, but I think not all HTC batteries are the same.
I am using this battery http://www.dealextreme.com/p/replac...-battery-with-charger-for-htc-desire-g7-45427 of course its not 1600, it is about 1300-1400 mah but for now it last for me same as original battery which is almost 1 year old now, so not so bad to use it as spare battery when you out of juice.also you get wall charger-while one batery charging you can use your phone with another one,but don't recommend to charge it in desire-you know its made in china but for me it works ok, i am totally happy with it.so if you decided to buy not original battery, then buy and wall charger(or buy that from DX), because you dont want to explode your desire. do you? goog luck. regards
Yeah I bought that Chinese 1800amh battery too and it's terrible! I calibrated it and as you do with new batteries and it simply doesn't hold a charge. The stock battery lasts much longer when properly calibrated! I don't even think it's 1800amh. I'd suggest getting the Mugen Power battery. I got one for my old HTC Legend and it lasted ages!!! It was more expensive like between E30 - 40 but well worth it! They have a 1600amh one for the Desire, if you want a good battery that lasts, I'd strongly recommend it.
Hi, Can anyone please advise me of a good/reliable cmpatable battery for the Desire S, which lasts longer befoe it needs to be charged each time, than the one supplied by HTC. What about the compatable Phone Battery BG32100 from China.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308766 they recommend the ankers batterys they are pretty cheap and reliable.the ones from china have had problems so best to avoid them.
if you want to change the stock battery , check this one...

sorry for my bad english!
Mugen
I heard that Mugen extended batteries are slightly thicker than original and cause that infamous screen lifting on Desire S. I have experienced it also with standard battery, don't know what happened.
Hi there, I am thinking to search for a better battery than the stock one, as my mobile lasts only one day with some wifi use. Anyone knows how much does the phone last with the mugen battery?
Mugen power

This is my preview, I’ve already got the touch pro battery and I'm testing it hard. So far it is super impressive. I will be updating the review soon and I will add a youtube review asap, and asap I will get the Desire S battery as I'm sold on Mugen Power now.
i searched for a thread about this., i found none so here is my question.
i have galaxy s5 on at&t, with stock battery. i also have a zerolemon 8500 and an anker 7500 that i use too. my question is do you use stock battery or use stock battery and then change to a zerolemon or anker batter when your stock battery dies, or do you just use a zerolemon or anker battery or do you use stock battery with an external battery charger, i want to here your opinions on this specially if you work and go to college like i do. thanks for the input.
Collage life here. Usage from 8 until 17-19 o'clock. Can be from light usage to heavy ( music, taking pics of the presentation, audio recording, all these dropbox upload,...). I have the stock battery, an EasyAcc 10.000 and EasyAcc 3800. Personally I hate powerpacks because they are limited to a certain device whereas a portable battery gives you the freedom to charge everything

Ever since I got the Zerolemon 8500mah battery/case, I haven't gone back to anything else, I am a heavy user and I can go easy 2 days with one charge. My stock battery is collecting dust, also there is no point in switching batteries specially the Zerolemon one since once its in, its a pain to get out.
