Hi Guys,
I am going to purchase the new HTC HD2 when it comes out and I am new to Windows Mobile Phones.
Using SIP/VoIP is very important to me and I was wondering what is the best sip client on Windows Mobile or does WinMo come with one built in??
cheers,
Zhuk
try portsip its the best...my personal favourite.
Also, Fring too supports SIP.
Thanks for the info, portsip sounds great!

blackberry connect software allows compatability with the blackberry service, but you do need to have a blackberry plan with your network
can you share with us where to find the application?

BBM messenger Vs Windows Mobile Messenger
when i say windows mobile messenger i dnt mean windows live. there should have already been a program available for windows mobile like the BB messenger. we dnt need to talk to people on BBM just people with the software and blackberry being a smartphone as well as the windows mobile phones both BB and WM people can be able to use the software thus connecting to each other. heres my suggestion>>>>develop a program that can be used on BB and WM as well as other device, that generate an identity code Or pin that BB and WM people can excange with each other thus connecting to every body and BOOM BB WM messenger http://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Hey guys,
I use a Touch HD on T-Mobile basic web'n'walk, now I've heard many times that you can't use MSN or Skype or even FTPs. However the windows live on the phone functions perfectly, this is not the case though when I use it as a modem for my laptop.
So Basically I was wondering if there is a work around to get it to work on a laptop or computer as it works on the phone. Maybe a proxy or tunnel could do it?
Lastly if the above isn't possible what is the best web-based msn client? At the moment I use meebo and MSN web-messenger but I'm looking for something more developed than that.
Thanks in advance.
Bump - someonemust have an idea on this.
hi
i have been using palringo which is great or handling different IM accounts and contacts unfortunately it does not support skype IM.
does anyone have any good recommendations for something else that supports skype IM (NOT voice or video calls etc)?
i have tried Fring which is OK but not particularly configurable re notifications etc. and eBuddy is java and fiddly to use on my htc touch hd.
anything else out there that's good?
thanks
don
Yeah, now that fring dropped Skype, is there any alternative??
I only would like to have skype IM, and facebook IM in one application...
nimbuzz is very good
Does nimbuzz exist for Windows mobile?
It does, and free
Thank you, will try! I looked over their page and I forund only HTC android devices to be supported.
Since nimbuzz quit skype, the problem exists again!! Any new suggestions?? thanks
Hi all
I have my HD2 connected to my Exchange server. However, I can't for the life of me work out how to set an out of office autoresponder from the HD2 (the MS website says this is a supported feature).
Any help would be great as its useful if I forget to do it before leaving the office.
Many thanks,
Tom.
