Hi, I recently have been so obsessed with the espresso and sense integration on the mytouch 3g slide. The bubble icons and all of those different customizations are great! Nobody has created a Rom of this for the nexus one? I would actually trade my nexus for it if it had a 3.7 inch screen and not a 3.4. A major difference to me.
Prob one will be out once code for froyo drops! It's getting the update to froyo in a few weeks!
I just bought my girl the Slide to replace her G1 and I have to say I really do like the UI and features, if it came to the Nexus, I'd probably use it.

Kingklick did one back in Feburay. It's not bad actually. Maybe you can bug him to pick it back up and finish it since its still in beta he says. I think he stopped on it because the Desire was more "in" and demanded more than Espresso.

The Espresso ROM you guys keep posting is not the one that HTC specially customized for the Slide. I haven't tested it myself, but I am a sure it isn't - I believe it is that one that was leaked forever ago. Also if it was it, King would have titled Slide2Nexus or something similar. I don't even believe the Slide was announced then.
Therefore it isn't really what the OP is looking for.

OP asked for Espresso Rom, it was provided, sorry for trying to assist. He didn't ask for the Slide Espresso, just stated he likes it and wanted an Espresso Rom.
King didn't title it Slide2Nexus probably because the rom was leaked from a phone of unknown origin and name. So it became Espresso2Nexus instead. Maybe he should of called it Unknown2Nexus instead?
HTC myTouch Slide codename is Espresso... wonder if that means anything. As far as I know, no other phone officially runs the Espresso UI. So its safe to say (I think) that it came from an early developed myTouch Slide.
Kings Espresso rom looks and acts just like the myTouch Slide with a few apps missing. It has the pretty bubbles around the icons and a sleek looking launcher. It's been months since I ran it but from the reviews of the MTS, it looks the same.
When it's time I could see a 2.2 Expresso ROM in the future for the N1. I can't wait!

when I used HTC Magic, once I flashed an Espresso Rom, it was fancy especially its dialer and contacts. But that rom was buggy. But now switching to N1, I really hop to use Espresso even it is buggy. Hope someone could cook one for us haha

Does anybody have the HTC Ringtone Trimmer APK by chance? If so could you post it? Ringdroid sucks sack and this was the best ringtone trimmer I've ever used and using DarchDroid 2.7 will this work?
Isn't it part of the HTC Music app?

im having a bit of problems with this app. i love the app when i had the legend but now that i have the samsung vibrant it doesnt seem to want to install. running 2.2.1 no custom roms unrooted.
any advice? never had at problem like this before says "install unsuccessful"

well i ment for someone who has already done it lol, i dont have nearly enough skill to complete that kinda of transformation. i know some stuff about phones but not enough to program at all.
i was trying to leaqrn not to long ago but nothing made any sense to me.
hopefully someone here has enough skill and time to let me know theyve done it.
Nah, I haven't heard of the HTC trimmer being ported to any other launcher.

I was wondering if anyone out there has been able to make a Sense like ROM for the Droid X. If so, please give me a link so i can see it. Also, i would like to know if there are any good ROMs out there. If so please post screeshots/links to where i can download them. I am a big fan on sense so the closer to sense the better.

IMHO sense makes no sense on a Dx..
Research TBH (Team Black Hat) Or "Fission" by Angdroid My Favorite
GummyJAR or ApeX are the best ROMs I have tried and I have tried EVERY one out there for the X.

Well even if i dont get close to sense, im just not a big fan of the stock droid X UI and want something more interactive/aesthetically pleasing. Like the Sense Clock/Lock bar/dock.
Do you think HTC will ever port out Sense to other phones?
Do you know anywhere that people trade phones because id trade my X for a Sense phone.

A) Why would you buy a non-sense phone if all you care about is Sense? I would HIGHLY doubt that HTC will ever port Sense to other phones. It's what makes HTC Android, HTC.
B) I much prefer Fission to ApeX or GummyJAR. Afaik, GummyJAR was just based off of Fission, by a former developer for Fission that got angry and left. Now, it is based off of 2.3.340 just like most other "Blurry" ROMs and it and ApeX still leave in a lot or at least some of the Droid X Stock UI. Fission basically starts from a clean slate, without any MotoBlur, whereas most other ROMs start with Blur and do their best to remove it, but obviously don't get all of it out.
On another note, it seems like all you need is a good theme. There are a few out there that mimic Sense and others that are nothing like it, but imho are just as aesthetically pleasing.

I'm gonna go out on a limb (NOT) and pronounce we'll have ROMS with Sense 3.0 within the next 10 days, at latest, running out TB's!
There is a Guy at the evo section porting this already. Tmartin or something. He said yhr system file was 580mb no wonder it won't work on some phone. Plus where's our gingerbread leak lol seems like every other phone is having a hood day today.

The myTouch has it. At least the newest version of sense available. Idk if its 3.0 or not but its whatever's running on the TB out of the box. (Sense)

I would like to know if anyone has succesfully ported the sense 3.5 locations app to a sense 3.0 rom, since i think it is way better.
I have tried myself to copy htclaputa.apk, htclaputainstaller.apk, htclocationpicker.apk and htclocationservice.apk and setting permissions, but with no luck.

HTC gave me free unlimitted navigation in all of scandinavia, so i thought i might aswell use it. The one for sense 3.0 suck though, so i would like to have the leaked 3.5 version.
