Ok so I decided to post both of my questions on one post...
1) Is it possible to hack the Samsung Behold or the Samsung Memoir and get TouchFlo 3D on it so that it works a little better and I start to like it again??
2) My cousin has a regular Acer laptop with Windows Vista on it, is it possible to get the Android Acer Stuff on it? Stuff meaning like software and crap...?

I'm split between getting the motorola milestone/droid which has a qwerty keyboard (which i badly want), and between the htc hd2 which has the windows apps which i badly need.
I am kind of stuck now between which one to choose for my new phone. So was wondering
1) is windows mobile 6.5 on htc hd2 backwards compatible with the software from windows ppc and other version of windows mobile? (mainly because the apps i want are stuff like rosetta stone on ppc, reflex mentor on windows mobile, lingvosoft on ppc etc which are old)
2) does android o.s have similar software either already or in the pipeworks from anyones knowledge (i know iphoen has a few of these apps or similar already btu no idea about android)?
3) how easy is it to hack android (i know i can test and trial out a lot of these apps before i buy on windows due to the great internet, but can you also do it to android and iphone)?

I know that the Tornado forum is essentially dead because the phone is nearly obsolete but I recently sold my iPhone and I reverted back to my SDA. I will be using this phone until I find a replacement Android or WM7 phone (I'll probably be waiting a while on the WM7 but it is looking more promising).
I updated to WM6.5 and it is AMAZING but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck or has tried to put Windows Phone 7 Suite by Fireslave on their Tornados?
I understand that it may not be possible because the Fireslave's program might only be written for touch devices but I thought it'd be cool to try this out on my SDA. I installed ThrottleLauncher on my SDA and copied the necessary theme files over to the Setups folder. However, when I try to run ThrottleLauncher I am unable to scroll or select any of the menu options. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but is it possible to run WM on an Android tablet?
At the moment I have an HTC HD2 running WM and use a load of Apps that would great on a bigger screen, EBook reader etc the problem is they are WM only.
I know nothing about Android beyond that I can get a cheap one on eBay that would do all I want if I could get WM 5+ on it.
Is this possible?

We gather Symbian for pocket PC, as initial codes symbian already are but we not know how to create a kernel and to start it on pocket PC
If we can run kernel , big problems with GUI won't be as already there are programs for editing GUI and all other

Yes to hd 2, he's what, and unnecessary but it is needed on the weaker PocketPCs such as symbian you can play good games, even on a processor with 434MHz
I am puzzled.
We have Android, Win Mobile 6.5, WP7, Meego in early stages and Ubuntu all running off our HD2. Why would you want to go backwards and ask for Symbian.
For me, it is an old operating system which is outdated. For sure when it first came out, Nokia were the kings in the phone market but now, it is way down the pecking order now.
Some advice.....go and buy at Nokia 5800 for £60, there are plenty around and very cheap.

Can't get to Native APIs with 3rd party apps, so not.
They don't even support .NET CF in WP7...
So, no...
And if your rom has all the drivers I suppose you can install WM 6.5 on it. I can believe it's installable on i.e. an HD7 due to the hardware similarities with the HD2, but it would be hard as hell to use. The button requirements are different and you'd have to do some modding to remap buttons to make the phone usable without ridiculous amounts of frustration...

AFAIK this can't be done. Nobody has ever ported WM6.5 to a WP7 device, and I don't believe anyone is working on it either
It's possible, but it's just not worth it. People are trying to put WP7 on their HD2, not WP7 on their HD7. Most consider that a downgrade and will not even bother working on it. Not to mention the hardware is basically the same with a worse build so you aren't really gaining anything by doing that
