Hi! I'm a new (italian!) user and i buy my first pda! The fantastic Kaiser! But i would say what is the better cooked ROM for this pda. Thanks and excuse me for my english!
Different ROMs suite different poeple. The only way you will ever know is to try them all.
The best ones at the moments are Dutty's V4 and Schaps' 4.31 (imho).
Read the first few posts on each to see what features they have and what they look like.

hi i have just got my hands on a spv m600 it has wm 5 on it could you point me in the right direction to a goood fast and stable 6.1 rom i have looked but i dont know which ones are good and which ones have bugs thanks in advance
Did u read the wiki?

Is there a thread anywhere explaining how to unlock one of these... the Samsung "Blackjack II" and put 6.1 onto it?
I dont know if 6.1 is out yet for "upgrade" so I was hoping to do this instead.
you mean the I780 ?
an official wm6.1 is due out soon, somewhere between september and october i think. There are some wm6.1 custom roms floating around, but i would highly recommend you wait for the official rom since the custom roms have more bugs than anything else ....
There is an Official I780 thread here : http://www.ppcsg.com/index.php?showtopic=100402 where you can post questions and read the experiences all the other people have had.
Sorry no, its the Samsung BlackJack II SGH-i617
Does that help?
i found this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1991079
it looks to me as if these guys are busy making a wm6.1 rom for the I617. if i were you i would keep my eyes on that topic, i'm sure they will post when they have released.
Also found this :
http://www.modaco.com/category/323/samsung-i617-i617-modaco-com/
seems to be a whole forum dedicated to the I617.
Anyway, hope that helps.
Hi,
I want to know if there is a ROM for the HTC Kaiser (Htc Tytn2) like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428597 or similar. I would really appreciate if someone can help me. DP
M2D
Most of the chefs that cook for the kaiser have at least one version with Manilla 2D, which is the interface in the link you provide.
Just look at some in the rom dev thread.

That rom uses M2D, not 3D. It looks like 3d because of the pretty theme.
If you really want a rom with M3D you can read L26_KaiserTouch_Manilla [[3D]] V4 (HTC Opal port)
It uses M3D but attention: M3D is still under heavy dev and very buggy.
I could suggest these two

Hi,
I am thinking about upgrading to 6.5 from 6.1. I have look at many of the roms posted but don't really know which one I should select. I really want just a pretty basic one that is reliable. Anyone have any insight?
Welcome to forums
Try to ask on your device section
It´s more likely there someone can point you the right direction
Good luck,
Check & Read the chef's Rom threads/posts in the Kaiser section. Happy Flashing
There are is no official 6.5 rom for the Tilt. Therefore the only available 6.5 roms are custom roms and are all "beta " roms. Read the rom descriptions and read ...read .. read the threads and see what people are saying about the rom.
Most 6.5 chefs prefer to make there roms " cutting edge ". Why waste your time cooking something that is safe and middle of the road. M$ can do that ( can you say boring ? ) Why do you want 6.5 ? If that's all you want is basic and stable , stick with 6.1 There are plenty of great 6.1 roms. If you want your friends to "....ooh and ....ahh " over your new pushed to the limit 6.5 rom then be prepared for a little beta testing and bug chasing. But not much , our Kaiser 6.5 chefs have it down.
