Vanilla App Drawer?

I'm not sure if this is the name of the launcher, but which ROM's have the launcher in which the button to bring up the app drawer is in the bottom middle of the screen, and the button looks like a bunch of squares...sorry, not sure of its name. I think it may be the Nexus One launcher? Anyway, please ask questions if you don't understand what I'm talking about..

You're either talking about the Nexus Launcher or the Helix Launcher.

Is the Helix launcher the one that comes stock with non-Sense Android phones?

You should probably post this in the General section. Thats what its for...This has nothing to do with Development.

That thing your talking about is called a launcher. Htc launcher is rosie. Non sense launcher is called home or launcher, and there are few sweet ones to choose from(some have more screens and/or different features). Helix is 3rd party and does not come with the phone. N1/nexus launcher/ launcher2 is the launcher that comes with n1. The launcher youre talking about is prolly the nexus launcher (helix is 3rd party, but helix doesnt come with any rom unless its a mod). If you need that apk. look for launcher2.apk, and youll probably like helix too.

Search for ADWLauncher. It's a modified Helix launcher. I love it. I don't use the stock rosie anymore.

[REQ Port] Sense Digi-clock and weather widgets

This is my first request, so please don't flame too bad. I am looking for a port of the digi-clock from Sense as well as the weather widgets. I am aware that for the weather, there are similar apps both paid and free, but they are not as polished as the HTC version.
I was curious if anyone could do a port. Will donate if needed.

Not going to happen. Sense widgets require the sense UI and framework and cannot be ported to non sense roms. You can try evils sense Rom for n1 in the development section but that's about your best bet of getting the official sense clock and widgets. Sad but true.

You could try fancy widget. It looks a lot like htc clock widget. It's taken down from market (due to htc c&d I heard) so good luck finding it.

Thanks, I already have that, but I am over the flip clock. I like the simplicity of the digital clock.

Fresh Rom with 4x5 layout & Gingerbread Rosie ?

Right now I have the 4x5 layout with my Fresh Rom. I'm digging it alot but would love to have the Gingerbread "phone / app / browser" launcher and still keep the 4x5 layout, and still be able to use Sense.
Is it possible to change the fresh "app / phone / add" to the new gingerbread like the other roms themes ?

dude... just wait... be patient... me and chingy gonna bring tons of rosie mods that will work on all roms.
less than a week to wait for it is not that bad.... and it might be less cuz i planning to spend a little time on it now, and hopefully chingy will be able to do the rest.

Any luck or help on this ?

Any chance of rosies for virus roms? I love his roms, but last time he made a rosie mod for one was 4 versions ago. And none of the rosies I've tried to flash with his sense roms have any affect after flashing.

Here's an example. This rosie with launcher arrow in the middle and phone on left and 5 wide app drawer is what I want sooo bad (really don't even care for the new gingerbread rosies), but last time he made the rosie mod was for rc3, now we're at rc4.2.

I can honestly say although this phone is amazing and fast
I miss htc yeah yeah crappy quality bad screens and sense but for some reason every day I debate on taking the mt4g back from my wife LOL
But this screen is too nice and much faster....

There are at least 6 launchers to choose from. Probably more. Take your pic.
1. ADW Launcher
2. Launcher Pro
3. Stock Launcher, lol.
4. Launcher 7
5. Go Launcher
6. Zeam Launcher

also the Regina Launcher..
out of the list, I've gone with Go Launcher as it's the most stable for me. ADW I tried several times but it keeps screwing up, notification bar goes missing, etc.. so I just dumped it altogether

I concur. Although SPB Shell is not my choice but surely a beautiful "creation". Lol
P.S. You can also try using the Sense clock widget on your main screen. I've have it setup where if I double tap on the "hour area" it launches the "Go weather app/widget" which is really cool. Also try different launchers thar give u an option to also customize your icons. For example:

[Q] HTC sense weather widget

Hi guys, i have 2 questions for you
1- I want to flash a 2.3.7 ROM, but the only thing stopping me from that is the "HTC sense weather widget with the clock" (check the picture) and the fact that i'm going lose the home screen animation so is it possible to download it or install it and have full functionality with the screen animation and everything?

2- I want a stable ROM and i dont know which to chose "Reaper V1.4 - CM7mod" or "CyanogenMod 7.1 Nightly Builds" which one is more stable and YOU prefer and why?
I dont want a boring ROM, i want something that i can change a lot of stuff when i get bored.
I know i can try both, but i dont like flashing my phone a lot!! i'm now using Endymion V2.2 and already there is Endymion V3.4 but i didn't updated it because i didn't had any problems and there is not any major changes in v3.4

1. A combination of BeWeather Pro (from Market - check out the video) and Beautiful widgets and Home Screen Weather animations should take you close to the Sense Weather experience, but it will NEVER be Sense.
2. Use Reaper. Reason? - Best in class Support. Regular and significant Updates. Lowveld's Tweaks (that's like a separate category of goodies in itself!!). And it's synced with the CM7 source anyway...

I went AOSP for a month, I tried numerous replacements, but you can never get a replacement for the HTC weather...
It's the best out there by far.
