hi guys i just got t-mobile mytouch 3g & im wondering if i can use it as modem for my laptop.
if i can can u tell me how plz ,, step by step

Well, there is a program called wireless tether for root users, but as the name implies, you have to have rooted your phone. As you probably haven't done this, I would suggest you work on that first.
I noticed you asked this question in several places. If I were you, I'd stick to making the same post in only one forum in the future.

yea i did post it in almost 4 forum ,,, coz its almost 2 days now & i couldnt connect as modem & i thinking to return it & get balckbarry 8900 instead of my touch 3g
i have only 2 more days to return my phone

OK guys I'm super new at this.... I have a galaxy s 2 skyrocket version from att and have T-Mobile service, I have cracked the sim so I can use edge service. I'd like to be able to use 3g and 4g. I know I'll have to root my phone.... that's where I need help. I tried rooting it once and it bricks d up. I ran a recovery and saved it. Can u guys guide me in the correct direction. Thanks for all the help

hi everyone..
it has been a long time since i have messed with this stuff. I have a boost mobile phone that i need to flash so it can be used with verizon towers....I recently lost my iphone and got a LG Venice from my sister. I want to port my number to this phone but the company which i used coudnt help. I use Pageplus wireless and they use verizon towers... If anyone could please help me figure this out it would be great.. I havent had a working phone in a week..If I need to flash do i need certain files for my phone to use with verizon... I am hoping for help here... Thank you all in advance

I can point you to another more detailed guide, but you should be aware that things you do there can easily brick your phone beyond repair. If you're interested PM me.

4g is the same as 3g, and 4g LTE is the same as 4g.
