Reboot / Restart / Reset phone shortcut - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

Hey guys,
In one of Tom's older roms i used, there used to be a shortcut in the start menu that i could use to reboot the phone. So instead of powering off the device and then turning it on, i would just press the reboot shortcut in the start menu and it reboot on it's own. I think this is a seperate program, since it's not default on any rom.
Could anybody tell me what i would have to install for this, or if it's possible to create such a shortcut on my own? TIA.

I use psShutXP

I asked exactly the same question yesterday.
This is what I found:

I think Slide2Shutdown is the best app for this
And i have assigned it to my power button.. so when i hold it 0,5 sec it will open the program

Try XDA Shutdown
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544016
You can get a wvga theme aswell

Treo 750 Installing Home6 with working Power/send button

Hey,
I installed the home6.cab on the Treo 750 and everything works great except the power button.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix the power button by installing a different version of Home6 or if anyone knows how to change the power button back through the registry.
Thanks,

To get you power and call buttons back you have to enable the "dial lookup" on the today screen. After that you will have the functionality that you are looking for.
Btw what version of the HTC Home plugin is that?
Thats just the info i was after too . What version do you recommend for the Treo750 ???

Lee

Is there a bug in data-button? I switch off the data-button, but after reboot the data-button is blue. If i check the data-connektion, the connektion is off, but the button shows its on. If i switch the button off and then on, the button works fine. The bug is present after reboot. Is it possible to fix this bug?

[Q]Volume rocker wake on ICS?

Can anyone tell me if this has been added to any of the current builds? I'm dying for a daily use ROM and it's a must for me.

I don't believe there is, although I know that there is a configuration to disable the lock screen so that pressing the power button immediately turns the screen onto what you were doing last.

my power button is borked, so i need to use a different button for my power button too, volume rocker wake is what i prefer too. there are a few lockscreen apps that work, but i hate their lockscreens. luckily, if you go to the phones main settings, security, and disable the screen lock. youll be able to wake your phone with the volume keys. the only thing is, you wont have a lockscreen to go through.

Did i say something wrong?
Are you trying to say the phone is laggy or are you trying to say that pressing the 'settings' button will open up the setting option?
It's been a long time since I use the Touchwiz launcher but if it wasn't like that when you first bought it, it could be because you changed some settings

Is not laggy. It press himself. I buyed like this and i didnt change anything.
You mean, pressing one time one the menu button, not doing any selections and the menuscreen closes and reopens after a fews seconds?
Can you make a selection, though? As normally one would select an option within seconds from that menu... No one is pressing that button just for the fun
If you can make a selection, there is not a real problem, isn't it? Then it's just cosmetical.
Problem solved
Finaly they replace the phone. I think the problem was hardware. If somebody have same problem go directly to waranty.
I want to thank to all people who tryed top help me.

Feature Request: Screen Capture

I use Pandora radio a lot and when it actually plays a song I like I use the home+power key to save the screens image. I've come to find that is currently not a feature on the omni ROM and would greatly appreciate getting it added in. By the way I'm using sprints galaxy note 2
Thanks in advance
Chris Loving
volume down + power doesn't work for you?
Screenshot and screen record are part of OmniROM already. They can be added to the power-button menu (Settings >Menus), as well as, for example, the long-press Home-button pop-up (Settings > Bars >Quick launch shortcuts)

Hey @jeffsf I dont have the option to use the homebutton to take screenshots I just dont have that option, Do I need to go somewhere else, I am using 4.4.2 on N7100
You should already have it on a brief press of power and volume-down at the same time ("chord"), be able to add it to your long-press-power menu, or to the long-press-home. Unless there is something strange with the Note II, all options should be there for you.
Here's where to get to "Quick launch shortcuts" to set it as one of the long-press-home options.
