I use Pandora radio a lot and when it actually plays a song I like I use the home+power key to save the screens image. I've come to find that is currently not a feature on the omni ROM and would greatly appreciate getting it added in. By the way I'm using sprints galaxy note 2
Thanks in advance
Chris Loving
volume down + power doesn't work for you?
Screenshot and screen record are part of OmniROM already. They can be added to the power-button menu (Settings >Menus), as well as, for example, the long-press Home-button pop-up (Settings > Bars >Quick launch shortcuts)

Hey @jeffsf I dont have the option to use the homebutton to take screenshots I just dont have that option, Do I need to go somewhere else, I am using 4.4.2 on N7100
You should already have it on a brief press of power and volume-down at the same time ("chord"), be able to add it to your long-press-power menu, or to the long-press-home. Unless there is something strange with the Note II, all options should be there for you.
Here's where to get to "Quick launch shortcuts" to set it as one of the long-press-home options.

Can anyone tell me if this has been added to any of the current builds? I'm dying for a daily use ROM and it's a must for me.

I don't believe there is, although I know that there is a configuration to disable the lock screen so that pressing the power button immediately turns the screen onto what you were doing last.

my power button is borked, so i need to use a different button for my power button too, volume rocker wake is what i prefer too. there are a few lockscreen apps that work, but i hate their lockscreens. luckily, if you go to the phones main settings, security, and disable the screen lock. youll be able to wake your phone with the volume keys. the only thing is, you wont have a lockscreen to go through.

Well this is prolly the 456467897945123123456479 millionth "screen flashlight" / "screen torch" / "other app name here" app that has been made.
Well i made this one cause i couldnt find the "perfect" one for me. So i made it
I understand you may not like this one and prefer another one, so be it, go use it and thanks for stopping by. No need to say anything.
Features:
~ Two colors: White and Red. Switch by pressing "color" on bottom of screen.
~ Auto remember color: Whichever color you have shown when leaving the app, it gets applied when you run it the next time.
~ Auto screen off: Press the "power" button on the bottom right corner to exit the app and turn off your display.
~ Auto Full brightness: Turns display up to MAX brightness and restores user settings upon exit.
~ Auto screen always on: Display will never power down unless user presses power button. User timeout is restored upon leaving app.
Remember to hit thanks if you find something useful on XDA
Any issues please post them!

Did i say something wrong?
Are you trying to say the phone is laggy or are you trying to say that pressing the 'settings' button will open up the setting option?
It's been a long time since I use the Touchwiz launcher but if it wasn't like that when you first bought it, it could be because you changed some settings

Is not laggy. It press himself. I buyed like this and i didnt change anything.
You mean, pressing one time one the menu button, not doing any selections and the menuscreen closes and reopens after a fews seconds?
Can you make a selection, though? As normally one would select an option within seconds from that menu... No one is pressing that button just for the fun
If you can make a selection, there is not a real problem, isn't it? Then it's just cosmetical.
Problem solved
Finaly they replace the phone. I think the problem was hardware. If somebody have same problem go directly to waranty.
I want to thank to all people who tryed top help me.
Is there a way to get cyanogenmod options like having the extra settings options or swiping in the right corner to bring up quick settings screen instead of notifications without installing the cyanogenmod rom?

Not yet. You'll have to wait for CM11 nightlies or start working on your own.
I would perfer to keep the stock rom, I just want the extra menus and options like that.

would like to assign apps to the buttons like longpress home for camera or longpress back for screenshot. is this possible? magisk?
also is there a way to make the torch turn on with the screen off by pressing the power button? im coming from oneplus 9 pro and it had all this. would be nice to have it again on the ultra. thanks;
There is button remapping available, some for stock Samsung's I believe. Example. Do some Google searches include xda to pull up results from here.
For display on use One Handed Operation plus from the Galaxy store. One of my favorite apps.
Very versatile. Almost no battery usage.
