HI,
I am trying to connect my HTC touch 2G with my office wireless network.It's a hidden connection and is secured. My friend successsfully configured in his Iphone. But i am not able to connect it.It's not asking for the username and password at all. all other setiings i did the same way as my friend did.
Can anyone help please. Or is there any link which i can refer to?

Hey everyone!!!
I`ve just installed the Rom Core 2.0 Blackberry and ask to my company for the blackberry service.
They provide me the service, and now i`m capable of receiving and sending emails through the blackberry connect soft.
But the problem comes when i try to open a website or surf, it tries to connect to my old gprs account... if i delete the account then directly tell me that there is no data account available to use.
What i`m doing wrong here? how i supposed to tell the device that should connect over Blackberry Connect soft and not through my data account??
Any info will be great!!

i`m now trying to check if it works or not...
updated to bbconnect 4.0
but it didnt seems to work, it finds the network available, connects, find data tunnel available and then inmediately disconnects...
Something that i could do to fix it?

I need your help on this.
every time i accidentally click the weather icon on my HTC Today, or open opera mistakenly, or any other software wants internet access, WM6 automatically connects 3G without asking, which is killing my phone credit.
Is there a way for it to always ask before making a connection to internet? Or to limit internet connection to WIFI only?

settings->connections->connections->advanced->select networks
there are some texts showing "programs that automatically connect to the internet should connect using"
and a dropdownbox
select the dropdownbox item which is not called something like "my isp"
but pick the one thats called something like "my network"
then all programs trying to access the internet will be forced to use activesync as internet connection and if activesync is not connected they will fail!

sk-Tools Lite has an option to disable the GPRS AutoConnect. Or you might do a search in your Registry for the key and set it to '0'....

I have seemingly lost my internet connection on my Touch Cruise. It worked fine at first but now when I try to connect to any web page, I get the message "The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again". It works fine when connected via Activesync and WiFi.
I have tried deleting programs, hard reset and re-installing programs one-by-one to see if any of them have caused the problem, but haven't got anywhere. Any suggestions appreciated.

Yes, works with WiFi and when Activesync connection, but no GPRS or GPS. I have tried hard reset and obtaining settings automatically from T-mobile, but this doesn't work. T-mobile have given me generic settings for PDA phones, but can't help me with my Polaris. They suggested I contact HTC.

The GPS i snavigation system you wont get internet from there!!!
if settings->connection->connection-advanced->select network
is set to my work network or something else then my isp or what ever your
data setup is called it will never try to use gprs/edge/umts to recieve data

i have been looking for an option to NOT allow applications to just connect to the internet randomly
Friends This is my first post in XDA. so what's my problem is I've take wifi connection in my collage and its a PPPoE based connection so I need a app to connect it. I searched on google but only 2 apps are available but that need root. And I don't want to root my Yureka. so Devs please upload a App so that I can connect to PPPoE wifi.

PPPoE connection is based on service provider. No offence, but I don't know understand why you need a app for that !!!
My ISP is PPPoE enabled, hence I did't provided credentials in my wireless router settings. So when I connected to my Wireless router, Some times, it will ask me to authorise with user name and password (provided by my ISP)
So, If I understood you correctly, you might not need a app to connect to PPPoE, A browser can do that job...

Thanks For reply sir but our computer teacher not a teacher actually but he handels the WIFI of collage, He said that you need to download an App called WIFI PPPoE from play store and in app you have to enter username and password. And my phone have to be rooted. But again thanks for reply I'll ask in collage. :angel:
