Hey guys,
I have a Samsung SBH-500 headset, and I installed S2P on my Touch Diamond(MDA Compact IV).
When i press the play button it starts Windows Media Player, but I don't want to use that, but S2P.
How can I disable opening WMP? or
How can I change the default action of 'play'?

hi guys,
i'm not much of a programmer, so can anyone help me map the SP5 keys to skip the next song on WMP when you hold the messeges button down, and previous song when you hold contacts?
i wouldn't mind losing the messages button completley if it would mean i could skip to the next song. i can't seem to get the SP5m buttons to work with it, even when i rename the shortcut, just Media Player opens.
programs don't seem to support song skipping, i've tried AE Button Plus.

I had a Qtek S100 and I always used GSplayer as my mp3 player. Now I own a Touch, and since the touch has far less hardware buttons I switched to Mortplayer. Mainly because of the volume slider which you should be able to use to control the volume of the player instead of the system volume.
Now, this doesn't work. if I use the volume slider, the volume of the player moves 1 bit, and right after that the systems volume slider comes over the top and takes over.
Furthermore, I can't assign the camera button. When I assign it to toggle the screen on/off, it just opens the Camera.
Does someone know how I can make this work? And how do you guys use your Touch as a mp3 player?

Please suggest me a music player for my international Galaxy S3 running stock everything, that supports long press volume button feature. Basically I am looking for a music player that will let me change tracks by long pressing volume up/down button.
The feature must work when the phone is in locked state and even otherwise.

CM9/10 has this feature. Settings > Sound > Volume rocker music control
Works with the universal API, so any music player that normally accepts inline controls will pick up the signal.
The situation is:
I working all day sitting, so i like listen music, but i can't copy music to my assigned pc, so my phone is my music.
Is there any android app that can "hear" my keboard media buttons to control the phone?, like bt headset buttons, but i don't want use a headset, y want to controll reproduction directly from keyboard. thanks.

Probably a faq:
I’ve installed power amp, and want that to launch instead of the stock music player when hitting the music button. Power amp is working ok.
Don’t see a way to add new actions in button key study factory settings.
Don’t see a way to over-ride the behavior of the existing music action listed in the button key study.
Beyond that question, seems the builtin music app needs to be left running (background) in order for steering wheel button presses to trigger track forward/etc in power amp. How to fix to no longer need the default music app?
