Which wm6 rom?

hi guys after fixing my exec's lcd i want to flash it with wm6 rom but not sure which one is the best. my main phone is hermes so exec will be second and i want to use it for voip and some orb streaming at home. any suggestions?

Well, my favourite is the latest PDAVIET ROM, but it's for Universal (This is a Uni, not Hermes forum)

Sorry, reread it, yeah, I understand now, I reommend the PDAVIET ROMS (the latest one which came onto these forums yesterday is probably the best)... The do get updated very often...

My ROM basic is Midget_1990 ROM... and I try to make the video call work... (ofcourse with Leo help)
what is inside my ROM:
- this is Vanilla ROM I only put Oxios CloseApps on it
- Start Clean
- Change Bootspalsh Screen to XOJ logo
- disable reveive all incoming beams (thx Leo)
- disable error reporting
- video call work 2 way (must set to standart video mode ) after 2 ringing just klik answer
- manage refreshing memmory timing

I try with t-mobile(NL) is work in and out ... but video must set in standart setting

I wouldn't normally ask, but I only just flashed at the weekend and installed everything again, is the WPA WiFi issue fixed in this build?
Videocall I couldn't care less about, but memory issues and WiFi WPA forced me back to WM5 AKU 3.5, which runs quite well to be honest.

why are there too few details regarding this ROM? are these the only ones fixed? i hope somebody will be able to give light on this new ROM and hopefully compare it with the other WM6 ROMS regarding performance, stability and features (if any). right now, im good with my ROM. am using laurentius V7 but lately the inability to call the last called number is getting to annoy me... hehe! i hate to have to click call history first before being able to redial...
anyway... glad to hear video call progress is improving...

I second that notion. I am continually impressed with the developments of our select rom cookers for the universal. Trully a bunch a cut above the rest.

Got it, and testing it.
This is another vanilla WM6.1 rom, with 40mb of storage and 28mb for programs. the "extended rom" is visible and empty with just over 9mb on it. the camera works off the button and screen. bluetooth finds and pairs with another device. There doesn't seem to be anything extra at all loaded on it. Its very snappy to use, but has the most awful green qwerty key pad ive seen, and it doesn't change with the theme!! there is a 9 icon comm manager, and wifi conects straight away with no problems. if you want to ask me anything then do so

No, mms is not in this rom but sdhc/sd support is!
MMS is in Ranju's superb rom and sdhc/sd suport.

I do not need to have MMS as I use e-mail through exchange server. At least there is one positive point in this ROM. There is no significant leak of memory as in comparison with Ranju's one and it seems to me that this Rom is faster then Ranju's. Am I right?

Actually, I do speak and read Vietnamese. Basically, he posted to alert people that he is working on manila 2D ROM, and was asking people for their input.
He is working on it, and will post the ROM soon.

That's normal for Youtube, it's a known issue so far for all Manilla releases.

Have more screenshots ?

Any ROM will work for video call! You just need a video dialer in it. Search for 3G dialer using search in my link! I think one if my ROMs has a 3G dialer in it, look into my thread.

use any 2G Rom and install DJKoa_3G_Dialer
