I tried to find the answer but could not locate it.
Is anyone using cyan 4.02 with Donut?
Cyan has been based on Android 1.6 since cyanogenmod 4.1
in response to the OP, no 4.02 is not based on donut so will not work with donut. if you want to continue using cyan and have donut, go download his latest 4.1.11.1 rom... if u can find it still. or wait for his next release this weekend.
thanks
but those dont include gmail and market and those apps...including sync wich i need...but thanks

Next release will be cyanogenmod w/o googleapps.
Come on cyanogen!! U cud use this??
Nice attempt!...
After this C&D stuff, all the devs shud be all over this!
Any chance of a donut build?? I would use it once it`s fooled around with!
Nice one maxisma!
Looks like the right direction to be heading at this point in time.
You mentioned your next release will be cyanogenmod w/o googleapps. Cyanogen has said he is working on this and it will become his 4.2 release. Could your next release be the stock ASOP but with the Cyan 4.1.7 kernel (BFS) and the 106Mb memory patch for 32B?
I don't ask much I know.

Okay.. ;-) Good idea!
nice work!
I noticed CM 5.0.7 was available in the ROM manager app (it doesn't show in CM updater - always says no updates found wish I knew why!?).
So just to confirm if I apply via ROM manager will it wipe out my current theme or any data?

Going to do a .1 for the N1 build, I didn't actually include the fixed Gallery3D. Also, the FroYo radio WON'T work with 5.0.7-N1.)
my advice is to wait for the cm updater to show it...rom manager may have jumped the gun
OK thanks.
So CM 5.0.7.1 works with froyo? Includes froyo?
How does that work?
1) apply stock
2) apply froyo
3) apply CM?
I hope someone posts a sticky guide for noobs or something - this is all getting rather daunting!

Don't apply Froyo before CM there's no need.
Root your phone
apply Amon Ra recovery
Back up
apply CM
Really? So CM 5.0.7 will include all the goodies from froyo? I don't have to instal froyo myself at all?

5.0.7 is based on the latest 2.1 Android cot NOT 2.2 code.
6.0.X will be based on 2.2 Froyo code.

Cyan said it himself that it will be cyan 6.0 for froyo. U do have most features as froyo but its not with everything. He said he is awaiting for the code to be released .He also said he will be updating his app soon.... via twitter yestarday.

Appreciations. If I decide to go back to donut, you just saved me a step.
If anyone is willing to try and let me know as well as others that it worked for them it would be great!
It worked well on my SuperD 1.11
*cheers*
Tried if with SuperD 111. Problems:
-Market only in English
Thx anyway! The Maps App isnt that new, is it?
from original defanged yes it is, but nothing from anything recent or current updateds
Market only in English? i got these from another based Rom (superD193,WGkernalV3beta.193) and all i did was repack it in the Original Defanged and signed it
This is for those who still use Defanged and out like to get updated gapps, other than the 1.5 (defanged)

Are these the updated PNG's? Over in the Nexus forums, their Galaxy metamorphs have been updated with new PNG images with more color. Ported it to my CM6.1 and they look amazing!
Very nice I really like this. I hope you keep this up to date. Flashed over the latest Nightly 153 and all seems to be working GREAT.

this might be the only one i do for a release candidate. this particular ROM version won't load past the splash screen on a reboot often. sometimes it will if i wipe cache/dalvik-cache and sometimes it won't and i'll just have to pull the battery again. if another RC doesn't release soon, i'm going back to 6.0.
Someone post screenshots

if you direct me to that thread, i can get to work on porting some of that stuff to this theme for maybe when the CM is a final release instead of release candidate.

screen shots can be found in the original thread. lockscreen clock is stock font, but that's how it's always been for me since the first theme was made for 6.0
also, for those of you flashing this over Nightlies, please understand that if there are bug fixes to apks in the CM Nightly ROMs, when you flash this theme, it overwrites those apks.
i've been on 6.1 and Nightly builds 154/155 and haven't noticed any major changes, though.
got it to work just fine, did a wipe and ad the gaps!! i love it

aweomse. though, you shouldn't need to flash gapps...
so i managed to find the GalaxyS theme over in the NexusOne forums. it can be seen here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709946
would you guys prefer i keep this theme as close to the original one or would you like most of the images updated to what's in the above thread? if i get too many mixed answers, i may just make a seperate one
like the way you have this one; it's fine and i have no complaints
I like yours better too.

Question...are the widgets skinned? The stock Android widgets are so ugly.
I am still using CM7 on my evo shift, and would like to upgrade to something with at least ICS.
The android development forum is full of alphas and it's hard for me to find the most recent mostly stable ROM.
So...
What's the most recent stable ASOP ROM for Evo Shift?
What's the most recent stable CM ROM for Evo Shift?
Stable means that it's usable for daily use. Most features should be available, but not necessarily all. I don't use 4G, so that's not needed.
Thanks
EDIT: I would also appreciate it if you could let me know whats the latest stable recovery for evo shift.
Twrp is stable as for aosp you'll have to try them I would let you know but I no longer have the speedy

Ok thanks.
Anyone else have any other feedback?
CM7.2 was very stable as was JellyBelly. I expect you'll have to do some trial and errror kind of stuff to find what you like. I really liked Provision but I had to use Apex launcher because sometimes the pull down didnt want to cooperate. That was talked about in the thread. As for recoveries, dl RomManager and let it give you CWM. It will automatically give you the latest verion of CWM available.
