I hope it's officially released for download next week also! But, what I really hope for is that the ROM has been further refined since they cooked up the 'prerelease' version, however long ago that was.

Obviously someone hoping that they can make a quick buck off of someone who doesn't know any better because this phone has got the WM6 installed on it. It's a leaked copy of it.
Considering that only the ATT copy of it has been leaked on xda-developers.com, I would think that this person got it from here. So, it's the same ROM that you've seen floating around here.

I read somwhere that listings on eBay for Treo 750 with WM6 loaded were being taken down by eBay due to Plam complaints (the same way the ROM was taken from here).

Dreaming of the Dream

Ok, so anyone have any idea of release date, retail cost or carrier for HTC's Google/Android phone the Dream? I broke my MDA and so I think I'm going to get the new iPhone ($200.00) as a temporary patch til it comes out. Best I've heard so far is the fall this year.

well the dream seems to be just that at the moment.
We've seen neither spy shots nor official shots yet, have we?

Origianl Shipped ROM

I have searched but am unable to find a list of original shipped ROMs for the Herald. In particular, I am looking for WWE 5.0. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I believe the herald was never shipped with 5.0. only 6.0. i could be wrong though.
Hmm the Wiki says it came with 5 also. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on 5.0 for the Wing, would run smoother!

Yeah, it came with 5.0 originally. I have a customer that needs to run software that only runs on 5.0. I'm offering a nice reward from my website if anyone can help me get 5.0 ROM!

Been away for a while- Looking to upgrade my myTouch 3G- currently Cyanogen 4.1.11.1

I let my girlfriend use the myTouch 3G since her phone died. She has since given it back to me since she got a Cliq. Been using my Gen1 iPhone but I want to give the myTouch another go. Just ran so slow compared to my iPhone, but its been a while.
Looking for some recommendations on what I should be upgrading my myTouch to in regards to its OS. I really like the idea of the Sense OS, any recommendations out there? Also anything I should know, this is what I am currently running.

Motorola Quench

Hey guys, I recently got the Moto Quench (Rogers). I saw that it was running 1.5.
Is it possible that motorola will release a 2.1/2.2 for it sometime? I hate running outdated software.
Also as time passes this will get rooted right? Because there are some things that I would love to do once its rooted.

The HTC Magic+ is the old HTC Magic with Android 2.1 ... my advice is to stay away from it, its getting old. I have one and i'm looking for a good 1ghz device now because im tired of the lag.
btw its 100% rootable, i have CyanogenMod 6 on it.
