I own an hTC P3300. Plz help me to configure its wifi so that i could search the network when i am in a wifi enabled area. i cant find any options to search the wifi network in this fone but my friends who use nokia phones searches the network and access it. Plz give a solution for this problm.

I just put in a Cingular SIM card into my JASJAR and it will not connect to the internet to surf...I called Cingular and they said that I can't access the internet from an unlocked phone!
I know there is a way to internally configure the device (codes etc, dialed into the keypad directly I have heard) to connect to the network, but I don't have a clue as how to do it!
Again...PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I'm new here so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place....I hope to become an active member of this community in the future hopefully.
Anyways I have a HTC P4350 (Herald) and tried to configure the VOIP Program Vbuzzer on it. I installed WM6VoIP.cab and SipConfigTool_2_0_1.CAB
and configured the SipConfig tool with the server as vbuzzer.com and port as 80. Then I configured "Sip Over 3g/GSM" & "Enable via Reg."
The problem is that now I'm getting the notification that Internet calling is available ("Internet Calling Available" is displayed on the home screen) but when I open the dialer, it still shows my GSM operator instead of VBuzzer....Is my GSM operator blocking Vbuzzer? Is there a way to go around this problem? I would really appreciate your assistance...

same problem, I did get my hands on a vbuzzer for windows mobile but I'm yet to get an account with them. Does anyone else use vbuzzer here on their phones. wing,herald, p4350 ?

My first post here, even though I have had a lot of benefit from using this forum.
I have just updated my HTC magic with this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552274
and now I canøt connect to the mobile network anymore. Whenever I try to refresh the weather or create my email account, I get the following message: This application requires network access. Enable data connection or Wi-Fi to download data.
I currently do nt have access to a wi-fi network, so what do I do?
FYI I have no problem calling my phone, so I must be connected to the network.
Hope anyone can help.

Guess you have to manually set your APN settings. Look for info at your providers homepage.

Hi, general question for the forum about the mobile internet on the BOLT: Have you seen issues with internet connectivity (non 4G related) on your Thunderbolts? I almost always have to go into Settings and uncheck, then recheck the "Mobile networks" field b/c i'll go to the web, to the market, to an app and it won't load because the connections fails when i unlock my phone. If it's seen then i guess it's just an issue with Verizon right now, but if this is not happening to you all please let me know b/c i wanna make sure it's not the Bolt itself.
