No image, screen broken? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hi guys,
I'm having kind of a big issue. I went for a drive on my motorcycle and it started to rain. My touch pro was in my jacket and got wet.
When I came home, the screen was black and I couldn't get it on. I took out the battery and reinserted it, pressed on and it booted (I felt the vibration that it returns when booting and my keyboard was lightened up) but screen stayed black.
My phone is still under waranty but I installed the energyROM so that voids the warranty. I want to reset it to stock but the problem is that I can't enter my PIN because the screen is black so the phone won't boot and I can't access it with my PC
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Greetings

Get an emulator like Pocket Controller or My Mobiler and you can do it from your desktop.
Also, putting the phone in a bag of rice will evaporate all of the moisture.

I don't see what the emulator can do for me
I can't access the device with ActiveSync since I had it set to "use as disk drive" and I can only see it as disk drive now. (which I couldn't five minutes ago, weird :s)

just connect your device with usb and go into the bootloader by holding volume down and pressing the reset switch. the device will connect to active sync and you'll be able to flash back to stock again

I can't see to get in the bootloader by doing a hard reset
The emulation software also didn't help, they didn't find my phone because of a missing ActiveSync connection.

No, what naKruul means is that you load the .nbh file from the stock ROM to the root of your storage card (search flashing from storage card) and rename it to raphimg.nbh (or whatever it says in the flashing directions), use hardware keys to enter bootloader (PWR/VOL DWN/RESET) then the stock ROM will flash to your device, theres no need to see anything other than knowing what button confirms the flash, which should be in the flashing directions as well.

I think I succeeded in flashing it but I'm not sure.
I followed the instructions as mentioned in the HardSPL thread.
Now when I plug the phone in, I see a file called EncFiltLog.memc on the card which wasn't there before, so I assume something happened. But still the phone is not connecting to activesync, it connects as storage drive.
The daemons don't work either because of the lack of the activesync connection.

So you reflashed HardSPL or the stock ROM?
What you need to do is get the stock ROM back on your device, which should in theory fix your active sync issue, so you will be able to flash back to StockSPL for your warranty return.
Either way, if the screen is out and your covered for water damage, they'll never know what you flashed.

This is what I did:
1. I downloaded the stock *.nbh provided in the HardSPL thread
2. Formatted my SD Card to FAT32
3. Renamed the nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh and copied it to my SD Card
4. Pressed the volume down button and enter button the same time an pressed reset with the stylus.
5. Wait a minute
6. Pressed volume up
7. Waited about 5 minutes
8. Reconnected the device.

How big is the .NBH file?

volume down + enter key + reset switch is hardreset, not reflshing the device. reflashing is done by just pressing volume down + reset switch

It's 514kb

read the hard spl manual
*MICROSD FLASHING*
***IMPORTANT***
Please make sure you have HardSPL on your device.
1. Get a 128MB MicroSD card (or whatever size you like) and format it (***please make sure you format it, but not just delete all contents on it)
2. find the ROM image you would like to use, normally namede RUU_Sign.nbh, and rename it to "KAISIMG.nbh"
3. Plug the card into the phone, then enter boot loader mode by pressing down the Power and Camera buttons simultaneously, and using the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the left side. Continue pressing the two buttons for a few seconds after pressing and releasing the reset button until the bootloader screen appears. (taken from Wiki)
4. You will first see a tri-color screen then the information on the card. Press power button to start flashing.
5. After all these are done, press the reset button located at the bottom of the phone to reset the device.
Thank you very much, back to normal!

Help, trying to flash.

i was following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448008
Flashing Via MicroSD Card
1. Make sure your microSD is Formatted to fat32 using a PC (you dont have to delete all files but it is safer if you do)
2. Download your prefered Rom from the Raphael Rom Develpoment Page and unzip/unrar it to your computer
3. Goto the Roms Folder and rename the .nbh file to RAPHIMG.nbh
4. Copy the RAPHIMG.nbh file to the root of your microSD Card
5. Remove Sim Card and Restart phone
6. Plug the microSD Card into the phone
7. Press and hold the volume down button, then press the reset button with the stylus. Release the volume down button when bootloader tricolour screen appears
8. Follow the onscreen instructions to start flashing
9. Once phone finishes flashing and says Update Complete, reset with the stylus
10. When it gets to the screen where it configures the stylus, HARD RESET
(hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER (center) Buttons, press the RESET button with the stylus tip, then release the RESET button but continue to hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons until the reset screen appears)
11. Follow onscreen instructions to set up your New Rom
fine upto step 8, it goes to the tricolour but then it just stops and it says
RAPHL100
SPL-1.90.0000
MICRO-RAPH (LED) V13
MICROP-RAPH (KEY) V5
PSOC-RAPH STAGE_CVT V0X36
and it just crashes....anyone help me?
FORGOT TO ADD:
It goes to a grey screen and says ' no image file'
This is the guide you should have used.
Sounds like you tried to flash your phone before you Hard SPL'd it.
Good luck!
IMO, USB isn't the best way to flash, because of
- not installed USB drivers for device in bootloader mode
- accidental desktop sleep or usb unplug
SD flash though
- corrupt SD card
- those microSD cards accidentally get dislodged and thus bad flash
i think that the best way is to flash via USB and make sure all drivers are installed... don't touch the computer or phone when it's flashing (maybe move the mouse a bit to prevent screensaver etc.)
I have downloaded kaiser-HardSPLv1, i ran it on the pc.

Your phone is NOT a Kaiser, its a raphael.
You really should have read the guide I pointed you to.
It had the link to the correct SPL for your device.
A little time to read would save you hundreds of $
You may find a fix ( there is a hit and miss solution for this) but you really need to search, read and learn.
Start with this thread.
ah okay thanks alot man, i appreciate you're help.
ive done all that, i get the error {262} it stops at 0% for a few mins then displays the 262 error, i have turned of firewall and ive searched the forum, but no avail?
Okay, i tried to do the hard spl with the sim card and memory card out
but still no avail, ive turned off the firewall and then i ran
RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3 but still can 262 error, please help this is very frustrating!
what happens is that i run through the steps on the RRU, then the phone goes to a black screen, and the progress bar appears, stays at 0% for 2-3 mins then error 262 appears
please help!!
Okay, i have now successfuly hard SPL my phone.
however, i have inserted a ROM in my micro SD hard, pressed volume down and then clicked reset, however i can only see the tri-colour screen and it still says no image .
please help!
OMG

does it work with the raphael ?

[HELP] Cannot enter bootloader!!

Hello
I had HTC Diamond before and now i bought HTC Touch Pro.
It has original O2 rom and I am trying to flash a new one. But I cannot enter bootloader. I did Hard-SPL but since i cannot enter bootloader I cannot check if it was succesful or not. I tried all the button combinations (like vol down + enter + reset etc...) but it was unsuccesfull. And i even tried to copy EnterBootloader.exe to the phone and run it. But the screen just goes black and thats all. And when I was trying to do HARD-SPL the screen also went only black. I never seen the three color screen. Please help me!
Thanks
Moved as not ROM Development.
Well, you're probably doing it wrong. Hold volume down, then soft reset. Keep holding vol down until the tricolor screen appears. Don't hold the reset button down; just push it and release it.
Im doing it right. Im sure
so u re trying to flash via card or not, if you're trying to flash via PC dont forget to connect with active sync before, if you are trying to connect with SD card dont forget to do a clean format of it before
I remembered that I actually had the issue once (no idea why, it only happened on one rom about a year ago). Try doing a hard reset, then go into bootloader (instead of pushing vol up and re-booting). If that doesn't work, then start the boot process, and when it hits the alignment screen, try to go into bootloader.

[Q] HTC HD2

Hi everybody,
i have a htc hd2, it was running on windows mobile and i wanted something new so i decided put android on it.
So i did i ran iit it worked great, not problems.
after a month it started freezing up so id just reset it and it was ok for a while.
than once i hard reset it, and it froze at the tmobile sign, since than it will not turn on.
i dont know what to do or how put something els on it.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you might have had more luck if you posted in the HD2 forum, but your in luck as i happened to be passing by!
Okie dokie, first things first, when you have issues with the HD2 its quite good pratice to revert it to factory defaults, problems can come from the ROM, radio or SPL or any other things popped in there, like magldr for example.
so getting rid of it all and starting again is usually a good start.
its not always nessary mind but its probably worth it
But before we do that, try hard reseting it or flash it with a new ROM, this can be done in bootloader or magldr depending on how you installed Android
if you want to revert to factory defaults
1.) Reformat SD card to FAT32 (use the panasonic SD formatter, low level format with delete)
2.) Find and downloaded an original stock rom for your device
3.) Extracted "RUU_signed.nbh" from the ROM
4.) Transfer it to SD card, do not place in any folders
5.) Renamed it "leoimg.nbh"
6.) Inserted SD card into phone
7.) Turn on the phone into bootloader mode (tri-colour)
8.) Follow directions
To get bootloader to work Turn off phone or pull the battery, hold down the "VOL down" button and turn back on again) (continue to hold the vol button down until you get the tri-colour screen)
With a bit of luck it will detect the SD card image, follow the directions and flashif its not detecting the SD card then connect your PC to the phone (it will install some drivers) and then run the original stock ROM exe file.
EDIT, to hard reset turn off device, hold down "VOL up" AND "VOL down" turn on again (hold the VOL buttons down until the tri-colour screen comes up)
if your using magldr turn off the device, hold down the "phone" button and turn on (keep holding down the phone button until magldr comes on)
What about your ROM, radio version and so on ?

Unbricking HTC U12+

Hey guys - I hope you're doing well.
I recently got an HTC U12+, but wanted to try using a custom ROM due to all of the bloatware . Unfortunately I think I've ended up bricking my device. Here are some things I've since tried:
- Restoring to the backup I made beforehand in TWRP - restore works without any errors, but then just hangs at the boot screen
- Method 1 from this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/u12-plus/how-to/collection-htcu-u12-ruu-firmware-t3794664) - TWRP always says the zip files are corrupted for some reason
- Method 3 from that same thread - this actually worked before, but I tried installing a custom ROM again, somehow messed up again, and now this method no longer works as it just hangs at the "HTC" boot screen for eternity
- Both methods in this thread (https://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-to-install-htc-firmware-ruu-and-zip/) - the first one leads to a "failed remote 99 ru unknown fail terrible mishap" error, and for some reason my PC doesn't see my phone when I try the second despite being able to see it in file manager
- Probably many other methods that I've now forgotten
I know this is a whole lot of information, but I'm in desperate need of some help. I typically like to troubleshoot things myself, but I've been trying to fix this for quite some time now and could definitely use another set of (much more experienced) eyes. I greatly appreciate any help you guys can provide.
Thanks.
Flash RUU with SD card method
Download RUU from here(important:check your CID): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wIRrVQawd5rD-t9VKPQ-SdRK20RcJVZhwD7lhmPIK8w/edit#gid=0
1. rename RUU to 2Q55IMG.zip
2. copy zip in the root of your sd card. - external card / not internal - it will not work
3. reboot to download mode,
4. your device will pick up the zip file and flash it.
5.follow on screen instructions and enjoy your RUU(this method erase all your data)
I'm having an issue with my u12+ where it just continually reboots to a message saying "The boot loader is unlocked and the software integrity cannot be guaranteed. Any data stored on the device maybe available to attackers, do not store sensitive data on this device" and then it shows the white HTC logo that says Powered by Android down the bottom of the screen, it stays like that for about 5 minutes and then reboots and does the same thing over again.
Holding the power down button does nothing, it will not turn off the phone. Holding power and volume down does nothing either. The phone just does this every 6 minutes and reboots and cycle and that's it.
I've tried putting the file 2Q55IMG_IMAGINE_DUGL_O80_SENSE10GP_hTC_Asia_TW_1.53.709.1_Radio_sdm845-000201b-1807311356_release_531499_signed_2_4.zip (renamed to 2Q55IMG.zip) on the root of a 8gb Fat32 formatted SD card, but I just can't get into recovery or download mode.
I've tried holding down all 3 side buttons for minutes, or just the power button, or combination of buttons, they all do nothing to the phone. (it's as tho they are disabled, but sometimes holding a combination of the 3 will make the phone vibrate a little bit, but in no particular time or order)
When the phone is in either state (locked bootloader message or white HTC logo) my Windows 10 PC sees the phone plugged in as a "USB Input Device", not an Android Phone or Android Device. So using ADB or Fastboot commands do not work to it. I've tried to force the driver to the HTC driver but that does not work.
I also tried using the RUU_IMAGINE_UHL_O80_SENSE10GP_NA_Gen_Unlock_1.30.617.2.exe file, but once again it doesn't detect my phone.
Any help would be kindly appreciated.
Cheers!
EDIT: So I was finally able to get into download mode by waiting until the phone done its 6 minute reboot and then holding power down until it vibrated once, then held volume up until it vibrated again, then let go of the power button, I was then able to choose recovery, download etc.
So I managed to get the file 2Q55IMG.zip to install, it said it installed 100% okay. The phone rebooted and now I'm stuck again just at the white HTC logo and Power by Android down the bottom of the screen.
This time the phone is not automatically rebooting itself and no key combinations will make it reboot. I've tried holding them all in certain combinations for periods of time, the phone will not reboot or turn off.
EDIT 2: So maybe I didn't wait long enough after installing the 2Q55IMG.zip file, I finally got the phone to reboot and now I've got a working phone again. happy days

with the phone off, turn it on,when you feel first vibration
quick release power key and keep push volume down.
Smartphone should boot in bootloader mode.
can you get into this mode with this guide?

Cheer mates, issue sorted. I just updated my comment in my post.
Not sure if I'm game enough again now to try and put LeeDrOiD and Magisk on it.
