Hi guys! I hope you guy's can help me out. Is it possible to insert a pause after a phone number? I would like a 2-3 second pause after an access number then have a pin number auto inserted.I've searched lots of posts but to no avail. Device is a blueangel 2003se.
Cheers!
use the "," (comma) symbol
Thanks for a quick response. Would there a space after the comma then the pin number? ie 07999123456, 1234
Cheers
As far as I know, the phone ignores spaces when dialing. I have one of my contacts set to dial his company's voicemail system, give his voicemail's access code, and leave my number as a numeric message, then hit pound to exit. It is in the format
(555) 555-1212 ,12345,,1234567890#
Thanks for that explanation, NetHead. Worked as you described!
Hey Guys, I'd really appreciate if someone can help me out with this situation.
I had wm5 and voice command, used Hidesim cab to hide contacts on sim and when i used voice command it didn't showed any contacts from SIM before. Now i installed Crossbow Reloaded 1.7 and i use HideSIm.cab and using voice command it says that it found two contacts. example. Call Bob on voice command says two phone #s found call this bob if you say no it reads it off sim. In WM5 it never use to read contacts of sim. So if someone can tell me a way so voice commander don't read contacts of SIM it would be great. My Contacts only shows Contacts from Phone not SIM.
Guess all hate voice command by microsoft. eh...

So what are my options where I do not have to record for each contact?
backup your sim on to your computer and then erase it off your sim-card.

I just tried to duplicate this and got the following...
When I said, "Call Joe Smith" and that person is on both sim card and contacts it will say, "Showing two (or more) found, call this Joe Smith?"
If I said no, it then put me into contacts and asked, "call Joe Smith at home or mobile?" So this is not a impossible situation but definitely a pain in the ass.
However, you are right, this is definitely something weird with WM6. I just never noticed it before. I actually occasionally switch phones so deleting #;s off the SIM really isn't an option for me.
Let's see what the real geniuses can figure out.

I am having this same problem on AT&T Tilt. SIM contacts are hidden, don't show in Contacts, but when I say "Call xxx", Voice Command says "Showing 2 Found" (says it so quickly that it took me dozens of listens to figure out what was being said - sounded like "Shelly2Fawn" or some other language when I first heard it.
I know I can delete all contacts on SIM and this issue will go away, but I'd like to have contacts on SIM, because I have a cheap backup phone that I want to be able to use PRN, e.g. go to beach, or in adverse weather situation.
I just bought a new ATT Fuze on 12/22/08 and I am having an issue with Voice Command.
I have many contacts that have only one phone number. Example John Doe and only have his mobile phone number entered. If I say “Call John Doe” it will not dial. If I add another phone number in the Home field, Voice Command will now work and will ask whether I want mobile or home. Also, even with two phone numbers entered, Voice Command will not work if I say “Call John Doe Mobile”. I have to stop short and let VC ask me if I want mobile or home. Then it will work.
Question, why won’t Voice Command work with contact entries with just one phone number entered. Is there something I can do to make it work?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Anybody??? I hear crickets.....
I can't believe that I am the only one having this problem. Isn't there anybody that knows what the problem is and how to fix it?
Thanks.
PREVIOUS BEHAVIOUR:
ME: "Call home"
VC: "Call home ?"
ME: "Yes"
CURRENT (WIERD) BEHAVIOUR:
ME: "Call home"
VC: "Shelling to found...Call Miss Home ?"
ME: "yes"
Not sure what the Voice Command is saying but it sounds like "shelling to found"....
Anyone else experiencing this ? Functionally, VC is fine just a bit annoying. Is there a fix ??
Thanks,
Jack

What its saying is that two contacts were found, which means that you have the same contact on your phone and sim what i did was delete all contacts from the sim card. make sure you use pimbackup... just in case
Thanks IRUS
Thanks for your answer - it was right-on !! Good thing you warned about backing up Contacts first too !
Jack
mine doesnt do that. prolly because im not using the official att rom. but it is still 5.11.502.2!
I have a pattern lock on my AT&T One XL because I lost an android phone a year ago. I wouldn't want my saved passwords and access to lastpass in the hands of a thief. I also have a number of security programs installed (Prey, Hidden eye, Wheres my Android, McAfee Wave Secure, etc.)
Now, I always seem to inadvertently bump the "Emergency Call" button on the bottom, and once I actually dialed a "9" accidentaly. I did not get a callback from 911, but when I had an Iphone 3GS, I recall pocket dialing 911 in a similar way. The operator wasn't too pleased with me when I answered the phone.
I understand that this feature must be for someone being able to at least dial 911 if there is a pattern lock on your phone (if I was having a medical emergency, and mine was the only one available) but I was wondering if this feature is able to be shut off. My phone is unlocked, S-OFF, and I am running a custom ROM, but I can't find a way to shut it off.
