I will like to do long hours of voice recording. Maybe 4 Hours? What is the good software that use little file space. Any to recommend?
WavePad mobile is great. Even the free version. And it is only kinda PRO tool for winmo in that category

Windows Voice Recorder
My old Touch 3G had a Voice Recorder software built in the original ROM, that you can't find in TD2. I've tried to copy the shortcut of Record from Windows/appbuttons to Windows/Start Menu/Programs and assigning a hardware button, but it doesn't work!
Can someone share the application from Touch 3G? I've sold mine.

Hey i just moved from my n95 with its good speakers but the touch pro;s cant get any louder then my n95 is there a way to get the volume on the same level as the n95? Because if i riding my bike i cant hear the speaker welll. and i hate earplugs so...
How to get volume louder
I have used a file that I found on aruppenthal's ROM that seems to work (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=488781). I have attached it to the reply as well. Hope this works for you.
thx i'll check it out!
where does the installed program goto? Not in programs, explorer or settings... where can i find it?
I believe you don't have to run it as a program. It probably changes some registry value. Install the cab and then reboot your phone. After that it would sound louder than before.
but it does'nt i resintalled it on de device mem and still nothing
Which model?
which carrier?
which rom?
You want the speaker louder on 'speaker' when you're listening to music I take it?
The CAB file above works for increasing in-call volume on some ROM's
Htc touch pro (europe)
Telfort(dutch)
rom version is: 1.90.404.1 NLD
Yes the speaker for listening music. the incall volume did get louder but thats not what i'm searchin for... thx anyway.
Any other programs?
anybody successfully tried using SRS WOW HD?
Whats that can it make the speaker louder? and now the speaker off my phone sounds really crappy like its blown or sometin'
nothing can make speaker louder really
in a program
digital audio is a frame for which one use 16bit to give a value of sound every
1/sample-Rate sec
if the audio stream is low one can amp it digitally but also amplifying any noise
present in the file
and if one amp higher so some audio peeks inc over the values given by 16bit
distortion will ruin any quality the audio sample once had
ok and now in english please... XD
My english is not that good...
But if i call someone in the speaker mode it seems that its louder then when i play music trough speaker...
And is the htc speaker just bad because those warning sounds from wm6 are even not nice and crisp...
I installed the srs wow hd but where does the program goto? not in explorer, programs, settings, tf3d or windows media player
where can i find it?
i use this it helpswith all volume i believe
i hope it helps
thx i'll try that...
The SRS wow gave me alot of problems i didnt hear any sound?! not from both the phone speaker and the music speaker?! Removed it now soft reset and everithuing was fine...
I'll let u know if this audio para works

As I am no software professional like most of my unseen freinds here can someone help me out in the lay man's language about how to utilize this good work done on audio para.
Thanks in advance....

Version 1.2.10.0 worked great for me on the Stock ROM without the bloat, and now on NATF's 4.4 Standard. I installed it on my device from the cab, rebooted and it was good to go. tvos has a great thread on it, he attached the cab and describes the patterns he has seen for which ones worked and didn't work on the 4 Raphael's he has gone through. His thread is here:

I got my Audio_Lighter_Boost.cab from aruppenthal's thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467592#6
It worked perfectly for me on NATF's ROM. He also describes how to utilize the audiopara tweak.

All you need to do is use total commander and copy the new audiopara file to the windows directory. It will ask if you want to overwrite the audiopara file that is already there. click yes to overwrite the file, restart, and then enjoy the louder volume.
Hi!
I am looking for a 2 way call record solution, that not just records my voice but the caller's voice too.
I know that the call record feature is hardware (maybe ROM?) dependent. Can UNI do this job?
I try VITO Audi Notes, but this only records my voice. Try with the 2_Way_Recording.cab, but its the same...
Is the any way to record the complete conversation?

Hi! I am using VITO Audio Notes 1.03 and it works fine. Though the other party sound is not very loud yet the sound is clearly heard. I have used it on Luca's WM6.5 and currently using it on Tomal's WM6.5. It worked fine on both ROMs.
Give it a try, may be it is something with your settings or so.
Haque
1, install 2_Way_Plus_InCall_Recording.cab
2. then install VIto Audio notes

Your Uni records both side ? Without speakerphone?
Have a deep read here:

It worked for me on Tomal 8.7 and 8.8
Haven tested on my actual ROM
Hope it helps,
Anyone know of a decent multitrack recording app for windows phone 7, for musicians such as myself?
Thanks in advance..
I used to use Meteor, but it seems to only be good for older versions of Windows Mobile..
Do tell
THANKS
Seph
after using windows 8 for a little bit and seeing their interesting take on what multi track recording and music creation could look like on a touch screen, i've had an interesting idea on a recording app for the wp7. however, i'm a bit new to the development field, and this would take some time for me to create.
so far though, no app exists that i know of.

yeah but how would you record, trough the phones mic? Multitrack recording is possible i think, although wp7 is not super good with audio.
I have some classes for a drum machinr/sampler but was not satisfied by the latency, however this might be solvedeable with some sort of offset.

Yeah, it would be for fun on the go. Can't be worse than what I used to do with Meteor on my htc touch wm6.1
I have seen some decent apps for iphones and was expecting to at least find one with wp7. I agree, there appears to be none. For now...
O well.
Multitrack Recorder for WP7
I know this thread is pretty old, but I was surprised that there hadn't been a Multitrack recording app for the Windows Phone 7 yet.
So I made one! Just search for 4-Track Recorder in the Windows Phone Marketplace. It's free!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi everyone, this is my another attempt to learn programming for Android by coding.
ASR - Sound recorder
Sound recorder without limitations!
ASR - Sound Recorder is one of the few apps on the Google Play that records directly to the MP3 format.
It is FREE and without any limitations on recording time!
Below permissions required:
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to save recordings.
WRITE_SETTINGS to set recording as ring tone.
looks quite nice. however the icon is very non-ics-like
Thanks, do you mean like the Android Design guide?
My artistic skills are crap at best I've tried many icons but couldn't get better than this
kinda quick & dirty PS job. if you like it I'll send you the .ps
i also tried making a nice mic but those are kinda complicated
looks good, could you attach psd as zip? or upload some where?

any eta on the icon?
btw, what does it need network connection for?
two requests:
- make the low/high quality checkbox a dropdown where one can choose from a set of bitrates (32,64,96,128) or at least add in the description what the bitrate will be.
- native playback without requiring another app. I have the recordings in a folder with a .nomedia file so they don't show up in my media player while listening to music. but that prevents the media player from playing them. I don't want to install another player just to listen to a note every now and then. a very very very simple player (compare hi-q mp3 recorder) would be great.
Looks good! Will install and test it out.

I had to re-design current logo. There was another app with almost same logo as you have designed.
Network permission is required for upload & share feature

I didn't include bitrate settings too kep it simple but planning to add if it pics up. I am quite happy so far. It has 3000 downloads so far.
I will start working on internal player. Thanks
well there's only a few different icons that make sense for a recording app so it's natural that icons are gonna look more or less the same for all of them. there's at least 50 different (or not so different) microphone icons. so i don't see any problem using any icon just because of similarities, especially not if the icon is original and not a copy.
after test:
-64kbps is not good enough
-it didn`t work 2 times out of 5, file size 0
but it has perspective, hope you will improve it

Not sure if you had a different record button design then, but I am loving this brushed aluminium button in your latest version.
I'm using ASR mp3 recorder the past 2-3 weeks, but I have a serious issue(because affect phone's functionality too). If I use it to record something, the first recording is ok, but from the second time the sound volume lows down a lot. And this doesn' t happen only for the app' s recording file, but for all sounds of phone, and needed to reboot the device to returned to normal sound volume.
Any ideas why this happens, and hopefully a fix?

the psd i provided was my suggestion for the app icon, not the record button. the apps UI is actually quite nice, just the icon isn't, especially not on ICS/JB

Yes, Almost 3 days in a week I used it for this purpose.
Currently I am using Audio Evolution Mobile. It’s a multi-track audio recorder, a cut-down (yet better-looking) version of DAW Audio Evolution 5 for Windows. And it even supports USB audio interfaces (via USB Audio Recorder PRO, which would have its own entry on the list if only I had the gear with which to test it). but before that i was using Voice Pro.
Personally I suggest if you are looking for it, go for Voice Pro.:good:
