sms sent notificatioin??? - Touch Pro2 CDMA

got the verizon TP2 on saturday and immediatly began installing my apps, games,...etc.
however, the no sent sms notification setting that i changed in advanced config is not shutting it off.
anyone else know of a reg edit, or cab specifically for the tp2 to turn the notification off????
thanks in advance

Here it is:
You will need a reg editor like PHM or whichever is your favorite, navigate to: "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings" and change "SMSNoSentMsg" to 1
It is working perfectly on my Sprint TP2
Russ

+1 on Verizon TP2
I also have a new verizon TP2 and the SMS sent notification fix doesn't affect mine either.

Verizon Touch Pro2 has a pop up window open for Message Sent, not the message that comes on the bottom of the screen. This does not work on Verizon Touch Pro2. Can anyone help?

There's a cab on PPCGeeks. Should be easy to find the thread.

heres the post with the cab

Thank you. Don't forget to soft reset after the install to get it to work.

ppcgeeks cab doesn't work for me on verizon

I made a thread with the fix for people not on PPC.

Wifi problems? - Try this

MAny people telling about problems with wiffi turn on:
- Not available by clicking on "g"
- not available to remap to hardwarebutton
- Not recognizing after pushing by commmanager
This comes up in several ROMs and I mentioned a soulution in many threads.
For some it works, for some not.
Just give it a try:
HKLM\Comm\TnetWln1\Parms\HTCPreloadStatus --> 1
HKLM\Comm\TnetWln1\Parms\HTCPreloadWifi --> 1
and check if WifiInit.ink is in \windows\startup folder.
Please tell me with which ROM it works and for which not.
Thank you.

This did the the trick for me running NottoSmart Vanilla. I had wifiinit.lnk in startup, it was the reg key values that did the trick for me.
I don't have any SPB programs installed, although I did try one out, but then uninstalled it, so maybe that is what "broke" itm since I know wireless was working when I installed the ROM. I currently have the following programs installed if that helps...
Voice Command 1.6
Pocket Mechanic
Sharkey Softkey Changer
JamDat Worms
Registry Wizard
Battery Status 1.3 beta
Live Search
TOtal Commander
CorePlayer
CoolCamera
Treo Picture dialer
SP TimeSync
PQzII Wizard
Phone Alarm with B&W Pure skin
Foxit PDF
Tascal CloseAll
THANKS!!! for figuring this out!
Just to be sure, are the correct values in HKLM\Comm\TnetWln1 key or in HKLM\Comm\TnetWln1\Params?

Sorry to all searching the wrong settings - now it is right in first post.
Here's the cab file for those who doesn't want to search registry. If there's no improvement, simply uninstall it to restore previous state.
HTCPreloadStatus doesn't stick?
In my current ROM HTCPreloadWiFi is already set to 1 and HTCPreloadStatus is set to 0. If I change HTCPreloadStatus to 1, exit the Registry editor, leave it for a while and soft reset it always reverts back to 0. I have verified the change is being made by exiting the Registry editor and then opening it again and checking and it does indeed say it's set to 1. However a soft-reset later and it's back to 0.....

Here is my experience. I was having intermittent inability to enable WiFi. Sometimes this was rectified with a soft reset, other times not. I checked the two keys and they were both set to zero.
I applied the changes and re-booted after waiting awhile. I noticed that the WiFi came on after reset without having to enable it. I am running mUn with the collected fixes from NotTooSmart.
I have since toggled and re-toggled and re-booted my Wizard and all seems well. However, HTCPreloadStatus is set to zero on mine regardless of whether the WiFi is on or not.
It is all working though.

Thanks for this and the pointer to the 10 button comm manager screen. After installing the new comm manager, doing the reg fix for that, and then applying this cab, it appears my Wifi starts up each time with no issues (in the minimal testing I've done over the last couple of hours).

Have you tried to softreset by switching off with 5sec Powerbutton? And the turn on again?

Hi there m8. I just couldnt install the new comm manager. I just upload it to my device and try it to install in the main memory but i just cant.
This is weird. :s
Any advice ???
Yep, that is weird. Went right onto mine with no issues, and I'm also running XPlore 1.1. Have you tried doing a soft reset and then loading it again? Maybe putting the cab directly on your phone and then running it from your phone?
Yes... that did it.

I realized I was having the same problem, came back and, VOILA, there is already a solution to the problem of the solution!
However, I seem to be a little dense today but I cannot figure out what 10 button comm manager screen was pointed to.
based on the screen shots from the following post and using google I found this post in the Hermes forum that seemed to have the file specified, but I wanted to check before I installed something ported from the trinity to the hermes on a wizard
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1207712
Also, this may be mild hijacking, but has anyone tried the other cabs in that post, specifically the sim manager and bluetooth file transfer?

Uh, isn't the commmanager question directly related to the thread since it was proposed as a solution to not have the registry values persist?

The commanager was asked for by people using xplore and don´t like green commmanger.
It might be a soulution.
Everything what would help is wellcome. But the thread started to get bigger and bigger discussion several problems.
It was started to evaluate the function of the registrysettings.

Right, and it was determined that the registry settings work, but only temporarily, since they go back to 0 after a second soft reset. from what I understood, installing the different comm manager either allowed the settings to persist or made them irrelevant, which is why I thought a discussion of taht belonged in this thread. Am I completely wrong in the above assumption?

That was mentioned by me.
To your question. My settings stay even after softreset. Do you change it and turn off device by powerbutton for 5seconds? For this ever works regarding to reghacks.
Didn´t wanted to stress you. Discussion is the way this forum lives!

Yes, thats the one. But for the wizard there is a reg key you have to remove or it breaks your Wifi. Please look at the XPlore thread for discussion on this (or as suggested, start a new thread specifically about the 10 button comm manager. It probably needs a seperate thread anyway).

You can probably use this application..

You can actually use a lot of the knowledge in the forum regarding the HTC TyTn (Hermes 200) as your phone is similar... I believe the 6700 is just the Verizon version of the TyTn; just like Cingular's 8525...
Hope this helps...

T-Mobile MMS Issues on the Touch Pro

Whats going on guys? I got the TP 2 days ago and have it completely unlocked. I am running the Elite RC2 ROM and absolutely love it so far.
My issue is now that when my phone goes to receive a MMS the "Download Envelope" pops up on top and then goes away after about 2 seconds and the phone disconnects from Edge leaving it not downloaded.
Then when I go to the MMS to download it again the "Download" button at the bottom is all grayed out so I cant push it again.
I have gotten a few pictures yesterday and the problem just started today.
Also when the pictures come through they are super tiny! Is there a mod to fix this? I think I remember on my TILT there was and it was great.
When I go to send MMS Pictures it does not allow me to send them coming up with "Message delivery failed"
Maybe My MMS Settings arent set up right? I dont know.
I dont know why it allows them sometime and sometime it wont but I have never been able to send one for some reason.
Any help would be great.
MMS Tiny Pictures on my Fuze on T-Mobile
I had the worst time with my 8525 Hermes... the pictures were tiny when I would receive an MMS. I finally found a couple of cabs on here to fix it. Now I have an AT&T Fuze that I've unlocked and I'm running jmckeejr's Chrome and I'm having the same problem... tiny pics coming through on my MMS. What gives??? Can anyone fix this or is there a cab out there to fix it?
I flashed the EliteRC4 and my MMS is working properly. I'm not sure what the difference is in the Chrome ROM and EliteRC4 ROM, but MMS works properly for me on T-Mobile now.
It seems like every other rom I flash I somehow breaks my MMS. My older build of EnergyROM did it perfectly. The newest one? Not at all. I had to fiddle around to get it working on Elite RC3 and I have no idea where to do that in 6.5.

Sorry, I don't know if it will work on the diamond or not. I've only used it on the AT&T Fuze on T-Mobile and it works.
Unfortunately, this didn't work on my AT&T Fuze on the AT&T network.
I remember hearing that each carrier had different types (brands?) of MMS gateways, so maybe that has something to do with it.
is there a way for this to work on a samsung propel pro on tmobile?
thanks,

like any .cab install, download to pc, active sync phone with pc, and transfer to phone using active sync or windows explorer, remember where you copied the .cab on device, and look on device with file explorer or or total commander and click on the .cab, and follow install.
Does not work with my phone
I am using the 6.5 EURO ROM
Should i ReFlash the rom and reinstall the cab?
soft reset
did you soft reset afterwards? Some settings dont take effect until a soft reset.
Will this work for an xperia x1 running wm6.5.3 on tmobile? I too suffer from tiny mms pictures when receiving yet am able to send them fine. I'm afraid to install and screw up the mms settings I already have...

Txt Message Issues

Sorry that my first post is me *****ing about my fuze not working, but i've been lurking around here for a while trying to get my device how i like it. Now it won't do what i want.
Ok so i had Diamond Tweak on there. With Diamond Tweak on i couldn't send txt messages as a reply to one i received. And i couldn't send a new one to that person either. After removing Tweak all the messages i' had tried to send in the past day all sent immediately. I don't know if it's a conflict or what, but any help would be appreciated, i really liked some of the features tweak gave me and regret removing it.
Thanks ahead of time.
Well now my touchflo txt messages are not matching up. I can't handle this so i'm gonna do a hard reset. Luckily i haven't had the phone for long.
So change of topic, what should i do once i have a clean slate?
Could you maybe try a few of the other tweaking programs? I'm using a few and I've not had any issues of that kind with my messages, or anything else really.
I've got Advanced Config Tool 3.3, Sushi's Diamond TF3D Config, and HERG62123 Fuze Flip Clock all installed on a stock AT&T Rom and so far nothing has conflicted or caused any issues that aren't normal windows mobile behaviours.
stock att rom? ew
what tweaks did you do with diamond tweak ?
and if you do hard resets just back stuff up with microsofts my phone software or pim backup then resets arent so bad

Yeah...I know... I don't like it either! And what I said earlier about not having conflicts unfortunately no longer applies. Something went wrong and I can't use Sushi's Diamond Config to change the touch flo settings anymore. Really annoying! I think the flip clock thing is messing with it because sometimes the numbers come out in two different fonts. And there's no tab for SMS now at all. Grrrr
Going to have to flash to a new ROM soon, just haven't gotten around to security unlocking it yet.

Rom Issues

Hey Guys, im a newb here and I had a question about my unlocked AT&T Fuze.
I did a hard reset today because my system started acting up, after i did the hard reset, it almost seems like it deleted AT&T's rom and went back to the original raphael rom. Now my physical keyboard is mixed up (i.e. if i press the windows key in the top left corner, it types one) almost as if I had a standard unlocked touch pro that is non-branded. does anyone know how to fix this so the keyboard will go back to typing what is actually written on the keyboard or does anyone know where to get the AT&T rom.
Thanks
A.K.
Hi,
I suspect your unlocked AT&T Fuze is running an HTC TouchPRO ROM. Possibly put on there by whomever unlocked your device.
The following link contains a .CAB that will configure you keyboard layout for AT&T.
[CAB] Touch Pro Keyboard in Fuze ROM, and vice-versa
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474192
HTH,
Thank you,
ill try it out right now and see if it works, i really appreciate it.
also, while i was looking for an answer, i found a thread with a link to the original HTC Fuze rom, would it be wise to install the original rom or do you guys think i should keep the current rom?
thank you
Thanks, I ran the cab file and it worked.
I also figured out how to edit the registry so it would work as well.
Thanks again
A.K.
