any free solution for IMEI change? - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 Software Upgrading

Hi , any free solution for change imei in magican ?
is my own used for work with other sim card ,not stolen, need to change, to avoid register same imei number with my private sim card in operator base.

no. the imei is hard wired.
it is also illegal to change it. the imei no is am international id number for that particular hand set.
in australia if phone is reported stolen, the imei no is blocked and the phone is rendered useless.

IMEI

Hi,
I'd like to know if the service providers (like vodafone) can get the IMEI of our phones.
Tanks,
Luis
Urm... yes, they will know it as soon as you put their SIM in and switch it on.
It's how a phone is blocked if it is registered as lost or stolen.
It's also the ID that is used to register your phone on the network, tied together with your SIM so that your account is charged when you make calls.

Can a Network See an IMEI number without Sim card?

Hello,
Simple question...
not wifi will not send imei info
but in teory the mac address is also enuiq
Thanks for the reply...
I just got told from a custmer service person that if the IMEI number is blocked it will also stop it from even been turned onto its factory 'pda' mode to access details without a sim card!??
This phone is a Jasjam.
Can you make an emergency call without a SIM card? if so, chances are the IMEI is sent over while connected for emergency call. Howeve, I would guess that may probably on the other side of the network where not much attention is paid there.
I don't believe customer services on technical questions like.. 70% of the time. Some of they are just crap. From what I can think of, if your IMEI is blocked, you can still use the PDA as a PDA. There is a case here.. one of the thread.. where a guy found (as it lost by someone) a phone on block IMEI.. then used is as PDA (he cheekily ask if he can change his IMEI). Probably he got your phone?

IMEI Changed after upgrade

I've upgraded the software to wm6. As it is mentioned before it changes imei. Not a big problem normally.
BUT
Im living in Turkey and here, to use a phone you bought from another country, you have to register the imei of the phone. Upgade process added 2 digits (25) at the end of the imei. And since imei is a standard code they wont accept this code for the registration process. Since i dont have a serial cable i cannot use xda imei changer. is there a way to revert this back? maybe by using another rom or phone-based application?
Thanks in advance

No panic. The IMEI didn't change.
What you see is IMEISV, an extended IMEI with software version number. It has 17 decimal digits(14 digits plus 1 check digit plus 2 SVN digit). 14 most significant digits of the IMEISV without the SVN is the originial IMEI. The last 2 digit identifying the revision of the software installed on the phone.
For example, the IMEISV code 35703600-CCCCC-D-EE
35703600 identifies that it is HTC prophet model
CCCCC is the serial sequence of the model, uniquely identifying a unit of this model
D the Luhn check digit of the previous 14 digit IMEI
EE the 'software version number'
The SVN allows the manufacturer to identify different software versions of a given type approved mobile. The SVN is a separate field from the IMEI, although it is associated with the IMEI, and when the network requests the IMEI from the mobile, the SVN (if present) is also sent towards the network.

nexus 5 ,recognize sim recognize carrier but no service

its begun all of a sudden
i have try to replace sim . i have checked anntena connections inside the phone.
also i have flushed older version of stock android.
nothing helps
anybody have any idea?
Is it possible the phone has been blacklisted?
it was purchaced in usa and i do not live in usa
I understand but if the carrier subscribes to the blacklist database, that may be a possible explanation.
i do not know how to check if its blacklisted
Open the dialler, type *#06# and enter the imei here: https://swappa.com/esn

Wat is the puk unlock code for aan alCatel by tracphone

Sim card#89148000006439986017
Call Your Network Operator
Your network operator knows each and every detail about your phone and can solve almost all your issues within a short time period. For PUK code, you can call the operator from another phone and identify yourself first, after you are done identifying yourself, you should then tell them about the issue you are facing and your mobile number for which you need the PUK code.
