Hey everyone,
I just downloaded sms chat 1.2 and i like the description and reviews but it doesn't work at all on my LG KS20, whenever i open it, it's stuck and i can't see anything to start with. the process is running and when i activate it, i know it's working but i just don't see anything.

I am new here and want to extend my greetings to y'all.
I am a complete newbie and have searched the forum but couldn't find anything closely related to my question:
I have a Droid Incredible flashed for StraightTalk. Everything works fine so far except for Whatsapp. One can send texts without problems, but when trying to upload a picture, I get error messages.
When choosing camera, after taking a picture "Share a file failed, please try again".
When choosing from the gallery, "Preview image failed, please try again" on all pictures.
Now, first of all, does this have anything to do with the fact the phone is flashed for StraightTalk or is this completely independent?
Are there any solutions out there (I am sure there are but maybe noone has had the nerve yet to deal with this issue)...
Would appreciate your help on this...thanks!

I have a Droid Incredible flashed to ST but I can't seem to figure out the internet settings. I thought it would be like PagePlus settings, but I guess I was wrong. If anybody knows what those settings are please share. As far as pic mail goes try using Go SMS Pro, it's what I had to use on my Incredible on Boost Mobile.

i and probably other seem to have this problem...
i flashed a new rom and everything else is working fine.. i synced my google contacts with my facebook contacts and they all have a nice picture in the contacts categorie as it should be.. also if i receive a sms or somebody calls me it shows the picture
but when i go into wahtsapp it shows only the green android symbol..
a few wich have a picture directly in my google account are shown, but not the majortiy with the fb pics
anybody an idea how i could manage for it to show the fb pics also
waht i find funny is, that a before i flashed to sense 3.5 it all worked like it is supossed to

Hey, it may be so that with flashing the new rom your facebook contacts(and their respective pictures) are suddenly not accessible by third party apps. You can try the Photo Unlocker app made by ChainsDD. The app is legit and just requires a rooted phone.

Well that's strange, i guess it was actual doing its job then. Unable to find any legal free versions after a quick browse, can't help you anymore then unfortunately.
Anybody perhaps with an different idea?

funny part.. i asked chainsDD yesterday on twitter why he took it down from the market and he responded:
"because it's broken... and I haven't had the time to fix it... :-(" .. seems that he was wrong
I got a phone from Korea, LG Optimus LTE (LU6200). I think this phone was made only for korea, Although I was able to use it here in the Philippines on every network. My only problem on this phone is, Every SMS I receive will show "Anonymous" as the sender (no number or name) even though the phone number is saved on my contacts.
I tried using other sms app like Go SMS and Handcent, its still the same. No problem when people call me, their name will show or phone number. So all my text messages is pilled up under the name anonymous from different sender.
Has anyone has the same problem? do you have a fix?

I kept trying different setting under *#*#4636#*#* regarding the network type under phone info but with no luck. can't seem to get the phone to save the smsc(service number) either. I can send text messages with no problem but all my received messages are from anonymous.
It's really annoying cause I love this phone so I'm hoping I'll find a fix sometime soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Oh yeah...forgot to say...I'm using it in Romania. everything else works just fine...

hey danny, If you have the same phone LG LU6200 Optimus LTE, SMS problem has been fixed, Anonymous being displayed to all received messages. All you need to do is to upgrade to Ice cream sandwhich.. The new updated fixes anonymous issue, also character limit when sending sms ( you have to use third party app, i use Go sms).. A lot has been improved from the update. The phone got nice Home screen too. I also like the phone, it's fast and slim.
go to dalelisyoso.blogspot.com just look for the article optimus lte ala ice cream sandwhich, you will find the link there.
the page is in Korean so you may need to use a page translator.. if you use google chrom it should ask you to tranlate it in english.

hey buddy.i got this phone quite good indeed buy a strange problem just for a sudden my naetwork sugnal goes and then appears.is that mormal and also same anonymus problem should i change the rom or just update it.desprately waiting for the reply.....thnx in advance

Hi guys Just got a new Oppo Reno Ace Gundam edition, Everything runs smooth and great with couple teaks. From keyboard, and uninstalling bloatware from t his phone. However as Title states, I'm unable to get group messages in the original Message app. When I found this out I tried to download and install different SMS apps such : Gmessage, Facebook SMS, smsGO. This Apps have install with no issues and when setting them up I select the app as for to be the default application for SMS. Once i get A text i get a message explaining that the original Message app will be enable. I tried different ways to get rid of this application using "conventional ways" ( no root or hardcore modification, since im not experience) but with no luck.
Has anybody experienced this, And if you are able to get group messages lemme know!

Hey i got the same problem vut it isnt just with the message app. Also the systhem launcher and assistent app is unable to be changed
You can uninstall these by using adb and install another app. But i dont want to try this with mine.

Hi, not been here for a loong time... Just got an A5 pro (thought I'd ordered cc but nevermind.. )
I want to be able to use it without Google... But having issues with sms and other apps (WhatsApp and email clients) not giving notifications.. Anyone had any bother with this or have a solution to fix it? I followed the guide about using adb to kill the trackers n such from reddit eink sub.... But have since updated it.. Should I run these again? Or is there a way to clean the original apps of trackers?
It seems like the sms functionality just kinda dissapears and I missed some important messages.. I understand people are working on a custom rom / root with g apps... Just hoping I won't have to go that route to get sms constant..
