Force Manila reload of ProgramLauncher - General Questions and Answers

Hi there,
is there any way to force Manila to update the links shown in the programs tab / new startmenu?
I'd like to change them by registry, but then I need to restart Manila, what is not very smart.
So, does anybody know of a commandlinearg for manila.exe to do this?
Like manila.exe --updateprogramspage <--this does not work...
Thanks in advance.

Problem disabling TouchFlo scrolling feature

Hi,
I'm having problem disabling TouchFlo scrolling feature. I tried the Advanced Configuration tweak and FTouchSL option to diable it but it doesn't seem to have any effect on my Touch Pro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
same here, anyone could give help ?
HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings:EnableScroll = 0
Have tried, but .... ><
I have it done with this tweak: Create zerolength files named BioTouch.dll,BioTouch.exe,StartUPBioTouch.exe and overwrite shipped in \Windows with these. Maybe backup of original files can be good. Softreset afterwards. If you plan to use SPB PocketPlus to finger scrolling,I have described how-to in this forum.
Thanks TomasNM, u are always helpful ..

Question on manila

Hi, Im working on the manila HD for Xperia, and I have a question on how to "hack" manila.
In photos tab, when I click the camera shortcut, It wont launch the camera.
I know what the problem is, but I cant figure out how to fix it. The thing I need to do is change what exe file the shortcut opens from Camera.exe to CameraRunner.exe.
thx for your time
cheers

After installing "Glass Clock" Touchflo 2d won't start anymore...

I had my phone running great with Touch Flo 2d (Manila 2d), even put that customizing program on it and changed themes with it. I didn't like the clock in a particular theme I picked, so I was trying to install a clock from the Manila 2d skins thread, it was called Glass Clock by Aladdin or something like that.
I did NOT turn of TouchFlo in the Today Screen Items when I installed the clock. Once the clock was installed, I turned TouchFlo off and back on again, but it just won't start. It tells me to "tap here to launch touch flo" then it says that it's launching, but then it just goes back to "tap here to lauch" again.
What do I do now? I tried unistalling that damn clock, but it doesn't show up in add/remove programs. I tried reinstalling it, at which point it told me that it would unistall the first version first, but all that failed, it couldn't unistall the first version and as a result to whole install failed.
Any idea on how I can fix this? I am using version 19.
reinstall again then try unistalling
I got it working again. I used the M2d Customizer to restore the settings of the theme I had installed. After that M2d started again but the clock of that theme was messed up. So I turned the clock off using M2d, then turned it back on, and now everything works fine again.
I'm having this problem. I can't find where to uninstall it. it's not in the programs list and disabling teh clock did not solve it for me

Set "alarm" to right softkey

Hi guys, i'd realy like to know which path leads to the "alarm" menu (the right slider in the clock menu, which you can access through tipping on the clock on homescreen (manila 2.1, wm 6.5).
I need the filepath, to set it up on the right softkey on manila homescreen.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks...
Sascha
P.S.: I don't need instructions how to edit the softkeys, i know how to proceed in the registry.

\Windows\Clock.exe will get you to the same screen as when you click on the clock but not sure how to default to Alarm tab.
All right, thanks so far for this hint, but it actually gets me to the "windows" clock settings - due to the nice look of manila / sense / tf3d (whatever), i would prefere to get to the manila style clock settings (alarm settings).
Anybody else an idea?

I don't think it can be done because manila uses a series of Mode9 files for one CPL, so there are multiple files for that function.
Another option would be an external program like G-Alarm.
Okay... that's why nowhere else on the net I found an answer...
Thank you though...
Feature Settings
If it's a *.cpl file it's accessible! See my post and within it several links to more information about accessing Feature Settings via *.LNK files...
In the xda wiki there's a link for the Windows Alarms.

It just needs some more investigation <g>

As Sascha stated, "i would prefere to get to the manila style clock settings (alarm settings)." not the windows CPL, which as I stated can be achieved by linking to Clock.exe
You can't link the Manila Alarm UI to a softkey.
Nice tutorial though.

manila restart program

Hi, i'm looking for a program to restart manila.exe infact sometimes it stops to work fine and i've to restart the phone. I want a program to restart only the manila inferface
thanks
If you are using Cookies Home Tab with CHT Editor there is an option to restart Manila.
If you only want manila without co0kies home tab or similar "manila mods" I dont think there's any app itself thats enable to toggle manila on/off...
If I find one ill write back*
Most of the time all you need to do is go to disable\enable Sense unless it locks up your phone, you can also kill it with QuickMenu taskmanager.

There's no "option" where you can restart manila by yourself..
Im sure djg269 mean when you change something within the manila/CHT homescreen (something that affects the homescreen itself or som other major changes) the program automatically restarts manila.
editing: Or he mean the quicklinks (toggle on/off buttons) wich is available in
CHT v1.8.0 and above....
you can use this cab
@p00ltergeist
That's right!!
There is a toggle switch Restart Sense when you edit the Quick links.
