You might want to look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552024 and specifically this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4482313&postcount=22. It may be that when you aligned the screen you did not accurately tap the center of each cross-hair which is causing problems. You might to try using the stylus and tap clockwise in a small circle to see if your screen responds. If it does, note approximately where you tapped and then try to do an align screen again - this time with the stylus to tap the center of the cross-hairs.
If this does not work, the general answer to your problem is to do a hard reset of your Sunno. Sunnos vary with how the hard reset is done and some users in that thread report not being to do it.
The other option to do a hard reset is somehow go from the Today screen to Settings to System and do the Mass Clear function. The Mass Clear program will effectively restore your ROM to the factory blank state by erasing all the data stored in flash memory.
This means that any data you have stored (contacts, programs, settings, etc.) will be wiped out. At this point, I think that is the least of your worries and you need to do the Mass Clear.
Good luck!

Screen alignment and wm2005

After a soft reset my screen alignment is gone and it takes some time and work to get to screen in the settings window (because the alignment is lost)to solve the prolem Has anyone have the same problem and hopefully a solution?
What device are you using?
I've never encountered this problem, but you can navigate with the dpad, or alternatively make a shortcut to the screen control panel and launch that on every reset (put it in your startup folder).
Bad solution to a strange problem though!

screen alignment
Thx, the shortcut is not a solution since I cannot click where I want. Dpad is the solution that I use, but it is very ennoying.I am using a QTEK2020
I meant make a direct shortcut to the particular control panel screen. Then one click with dpad will take you straight into screen alignment settings.
But whichever works!

screen
THX, but I don't find a way to make a shortcut to screen or screen alignment in the settings screen.
I'm afriad I don't have my phone in front of me, I left it at home by accident , but look here:

I'll try to make the shortcut if you have no luck.

HELP! Can't use touchscreen anymore!

Hello
I'm really ****ed. I just installed the .net CF 3.5 and advance config. Then I did a few settings (nothing special) and after softreset I noticed the buttons for entering the pin are ****ed up and I can't use the touchscreen anymore. I doen's react when I press on it. I can still use all the hardwarebuttons. Oh, I can still bring up the cube...but I can't click anything there :<
Please....somebody tell me what to do now
Hello
is it still under warrenty?
i had the same and i had to bring it to the repair center
they placed a new lcd and touchscreen
greetz Hatchy
Seems like the touch screen works fine if you can bring up the cube.
I'd connect my pda to a PC using activesync or vista mobile center and try to backup my contacts, fav's, messages, files etc and then perform a hard reset, using the hardware keys combination. The tricky part is that you have to select using the touch screen to proceed. If that's not possible reload the rom.
Well, it wasn't possbile to sync anymore, but I had to hardreset anyway. No it works just perfect again. Really strange...
It´s quite simple!
If you change the reg keys for the touch pressure and end up with a non-responsive screen follow this steps:
1 > press the left key (GPS) and the center key at the same time;
2 > you'll have now the align screen window open;
3 > now you can press the screen because all the reg keys for the touch pressure have been reset to default.
And that's simple!

maybe the problem is that you dont tap at the screen right.
i had a similar problem before
look closer into the cross, you will see a white dot
tap right into the center and i think that will solve your problem
you just gotta be precise
I had the problem before. You need to change the touch screen,it cost about 20$
Try to shift the screen from horizontal to vertical (i had the same problem with an old rom)
It is hardware failure, that's all.I got one Alpine - xdaIIi like that.

buddy your touch sensor is gone.....i have the same issue......here's what you need to do:
Option 1: connect your phone to your pc via activesync, explore to windows directory and delete / rename the file called welcome.exe
Option 2: create a blank file on you pc called welcome.not and place it on the root of your storage card.
Option 3: use the MSP remote alignment.
Some people say event turning the device off then on again will kill the align screen but i can't say cause i haven't tried it.
after you're setup and all good, there would still be some applications that require a 'touch' some place....for that, since you (and i) don't have a touch screen anymore, the best thing to do is to get a MOUSE on your ppc
virtual mouse attached below.....just assign a hardware button to it to turn it on or off at will.....i use backlight button for it.....
P.S: was having some probs in uploading so i've renamed the file to .zip. just rename to .rar if you have problems extracting it
enjoy and PM me if you face anymore problems.
cheers
Hi junooni ,
I hv the same problem with my XDA IIs, and now my phone has been sitting in my drawer for 1 months.
Just some question, the above option that you stated above. After going through your option will the phone still be useable. I mean after that can i still used the phone to make a call since i need to use a remote mouse.
And also do i need to use activesync and connect it to my PC everything i need to use my XDA.
try taking out sim & memory card
i was also stuck on that.. this is how i got it solved, take out sim & memory card and to do it you need to take battery out as sim is under battery then hold two softkeys and reset button at same time and press 0 instead of x . now you should be able to go pass the align screen.... hopefully it helped....
Well.. it didn't help to me.. How can I browse windows directory via activesync? Am I so stupid or it's just invisible or what?

Home screen menu invisible until backlight turns off

Since updating to Frau Hottelmann's excellent bit of cooking I have an irritating issue with the menu: after using the slide-out keypad, when I slide it back in, in the home screen the (Titanium) menu is invisible until the backlight turns off. The menu when I use the keys again, it's just a nuisance having to wait for the backlight to turn off every time.
Many thanks in advance for your insights...
Try flashing again When i does not work, try another rom.
This is a regular WM6.5 bug. When your screen is off and you directly slide your phone open, the last screen will be 'forgotten'. This goes away when your screen goes back in stand-by.
The only solution is to first wake your screen (press a button) and then slide out your keyboard. Or don't use the sliding panels
Good luck!
Thanx guys
Rats! Hmmm.
Actually the screen isn't off, and it's the other way round: okay with keyboard out, menu missing when it slides back in - but maybe that's the same bug?
I'm otherwise very happy with 6.5 so I'll cross fingers that a bugfix comes along.
Funnily enough, since I posted, my Vox has started rebuilding the menu correctly again (no reboot). Let's see...

[Q] How to restore notification bar and soft keys [AOKP-milestone-1] [JB4.1.2 ]

I rebooted my tab this morning and the soft keys are missing from the bottom as well as the notification bar at the top. If I select menu toggle from the power menu i can get them to display together in one bar at the bottom but it behaves badly, apps forced into landscape mode, screen rotation disabled.
what is the problem or fix aside from factory reset?
thanks in advance.
Let me just answer my post. wipe data/cache then factory reset from recvovery....backup your sh*t if you feel like it first.
What disappoints me most about this site is threads that ask the same question but post no solution other than, FIXED. what annoys me most isn't that no one replied, it's that this is a bug that obviously needs some time to repair doing it this way, plus the annoyance factor was through the roof.
