You can try TouchLockPro, with registry setting LockTouchPanelOnly = 1.

Cool thanks guys, The auto locker works nice, i love the idea of being able to disable the buttons with that first tool but it doesn't work for me :-\. Any ideas?
I can open it and tells me its already enabled and asks if i would like to disable it, but the buttons still work.

Screen Orientation Lock

I havent seen any talk about it or on any of the feature lists for mango...
It is indeed missing. Screen rotation can be pretty annoying sometimes...
I hate this rotating screen all the time..
Sent from my OMNIA7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App

Story yet to be confirmed.

wtf... how did Microsoft miss this option.
auto screen rotation is so annoying sometimes. is there any app to stop it?
It is the developers choice whether they want to support a specific orientation.
pls help , i want to stop rotation...
Please use search. There's a nice homebrew app called, of all crazy things, "Orientation Lock" that will temporarily disable the accelerometer so your phone doesn't know its orientation and consequently won't rotate. It should work on any dev-unlocked Mango device. You can download it from its own thread on the Dev&Hacking sub-forum.
the link for you.. it was really easy to find..

[REQ] App to turn screen off during calls

Hi all. I use a HTC Hero which does not have a proximity sensor. I have a chronic problem of accidentally cancelling the calls when I put the phone to my cheek.
Is there any app that will turn off the screen as soon as the call is made or picked? Even setting the screen timeout to min doesn't help.
Thanks

How comfortable are you with using Tasker? You can configure it to turn screen on/off based on gestures and call state.
Make sure your Auto-Backlight setting is enabled for this app attached below to work. It uses your light sensor as a trigger sort to speak, to have a working proximity like sensor screen action.

Notification problems

Hello guys, I wanted to know if any of you have problems getting notifications in particular those of WhatsApp because despite having given all the permissions to all the apps to make no mistake and even having eliminated in the settings the energy saving to all apps Diffi cult notifications arrive when the phone is on standby and if the phone arrives it does not emit any sound or vibration but only in some cases it notifies the screen. Do you have any solution to the problem?
Thanks in advance to those who will offer me a solution

Question MIUI 14 stopping apps in background

Hi,
I've got an application that should run in the background.. however it appears MIUI or Android is stopping it running when it's in the background or the screen is locked.
On my old Huawei P30 ( Android 10 ) I had to turn off battery optimisation and allow the app to run in the background, but I've only been able to find battery optimisation on the 12 Lite.
How do I stop MIUI or Android from stopping the application in the background ?
Thanks
Long press on the app icon./information
Thanks. Can you advise what this allows me to set to stop this happening.
you have to lock the app by this
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and disable restriction from battery saving here
and autostart enabled
Thanks I'll give that a go.

Activate/automatic start.
Battery saver/no restriction
Permissions/Show pop-ups.....background.
Thanks this appears to be working with the following set against the app:
Battery Saver set to No Restriction
Other Permissions allow 'Show on Lock Screen, Open new window while running in the background'
