Question MIUI 14 stopping apps in background - Xiaomi 12

Hi,
I've got an application that should run in the background.. however it appears MIUI or Android is stopping it running when it's in the background or the screen is locked.
On my old Huawei P30 ( Android 10 ) I had to turn off battery optimisation and allow the app to run in the background, but I've only been able to find battery optimisation on the 12 Lite.
How do I stop MIUI or Android from stopping the application in the background ?
Thanks

Long press on the app icon./information

Thanks. Can you advise what this allows me to set to stop this happening.

you have to lock the app by this

}
and disable restriction from battery saving here
and autostart enabled

Thanks I'll give that a go.

Click to collapse
Activate/automatic start.
Battery saver/no restriction
Permissions/Show pop-ups.....background.

Thanks this appears to be working with the following set against the app:
Battery Saver set to No Restriction
Other Permissions allow 'Show on Lock Screen, Open new window while running in the background'

Phone always awake

My nexus is always awake, and it's draining my battery.
When I looked in the battery menu it looks like Google Services is what's causing it.

If you have Privacy Guard / App ops:
From Privacy Guard, show built-in/system apps then select Google Play Services. Disable Wake Up + Keep Awake + Auto Start.
If you have Tasker: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59350828&postcount=2360
Or upgrade to a newer version (not sure if it's really fixed now).

I keep getting this anoying popup! Do you know which app is this from?

Guys,
As in the topic. I keep getting this popup: Do you know which application generates this sh*t? I do not have any memory optimizers installed

Download Airpush Detector. I've had a lot of luck with it finding apps that cause popups.
This application does not work for me.
I am still struggling to find what is causing this. I installed Permissions explorer and listed all applications with draw over other apps permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW). There is nothing there that that could be potentially showing the message. One thing that I have noticed is that if I am on the home screen and long press the back button (which is mapped to kill app via All in One Gestures) this pop up shows up.
I also installed OS monitor which shows all processes currently running and also exported system log showing all events. However, the log consist of 5500 lines for just 2 minutes of logging and it is very difficult for me to find anything there.
Any ideas, anyone, please? Is there any other permission worth checking or any other application worth installing to finally find what is causing this?

Background apps not closing

Anyone know why I keep getting notified about power intensive apps running in the background when I have selected " Close excessively power intensive apps"?
It seems this feature doesn't work?

Notification problems

Hello guys, I wanted to know if any of you have problems getting notifications in particular those of WhatsApp because despite having given all the permissions to all the apps to make no mistake and even having eliminated in the settings the energy saving to all apps Diffi cult notifications arrive when the phone is on standby and if the phone arrives it does not emit any sound or vibration but only in some cases it notifies the screen. Do you have any solution to the problem?
Thanks in advance to those who will offer me a solution

blocked from showing dropzone and other notifications? how do I stop them?

Hi, since having my p30 Pro I've noticed some strange little notifications that appear from time to time, they are always a small box that looks a bit greyed out. If I try to go on the live chat on the Huawei hicare app it comes up saying Firefox has been blocked from showing its Dropzone. In other apps I've seen it come up with same looking dialog box saying the app has changed vibration to silent and this can be manually changed back if I want.
How do I stop these notifications? Even though it says Firefox has been blocked the chat still opens in Firefox fine and I know the other app is changing vibration to silent so I don't need it to tell me every time.
I'm not sure if this is specific to Huawei phone or if it's a general android notification, I had android pie in my old Samsung s8 and never seen them.
If there's a way to turn this off would be great if anyone can help? Regards
James
Anyone please?
Anyone?
This is the kinda message i mean in this picture, how do i stop them notifications?
