Are these cabs ready to remove via wm? Because I just want to test and if I don't like them, I could uninstall?

this is my homescreen (love it)
but is there any way to customise those "call" and "write message" icons as well? That would be great!

For those of us still on Manila 2.0, the icons work very well (thank you for the download link above), but the other bits included - the Hero wallpaper and white clock etc - don't work so well.

I want tray thi icos, but the restore of default icons?
It' possible?

to zimmicz: you can change it with m9editor an some graphic editor for editing icons. all icons are in files number_manila e.g. 08fc3b25_manila is phone call icon and 093284a8_manila is send message icon and there are two ways
1- copy changed file into windows folder
2- make a cab and install it

Strange, I used "load from png" option, it is set to the icon i want in m9 editor, but when used on my phone, the field stays white :-/
update: it was due to different resolution, it is ok now

To make your own manilas use Manila Editor: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=414861
Simply open manila, replace picture and save manila.
Transfer new manila to Device\Windows with TF3D turned of.
To be on the save side backup the manila you replace first.

Or if you make your own cab, don't need to save original files. Everything comes back after uninstallation.

Can someone upload .cab file, much easier for all.

someone upload the file on other site like www.mediafire.com
cant download from rapidshare

Nice icons
Thanks for the icon and clock CABs. They work fine on my stock ROM.
For TF3D background I used a custom cab created using HDWalls 0.25.
I also seem to notice a minor improvement in TF3d response compared to using the standard icons.

it is possible to make a cab for this beautiful theme for touchflo 2.1 on the diamond 1?

Slimer wm6.1 standard chome panels for 240x320 resolution devices

ok guys here my first contribution to the forum, this is a custom slim down 6.1 chome panel credits go to NRGZ28 he made the discovery on how to change the Height and Width of the chome 6.1 panels i just change the values to comfort our 240x320 device's resolution and also i changed the Height and Width of the music and photos icons as they were to big and came out of the panels and they lookt pretty bad so i fix that ^^.
How to install
1.download "rafy_vitto's_custom_6.1_slim_panels.zip"
2.go to setting/home screen change your layout to "windows simple"
3.connect your phone to the pc sync it with active sync go to your windows folder look for the file "CHome_240x320.cpr" make a back up of it(drag and drop it anywhere on your pc).
4.unzip my file and extract the custom "CHome_240x320.cpr" and drag and drop it into your phones windows folder.
5.now go to setting/home screen and change your layout to sliding panel. and thats it your done.
hope you like it and please fell free to ask me any question il be more than happy to answer them ^^

good work. They look pretty nice. Great option for portrait devices
One suggestion, move the date to top of panel instead of hanging off and will be perfect.
here you go mate , tell me if you like it, and btw here's a landscape version
I like this, it looks real slick.
One problem: it lets text drop off the panel in my calendar pane if the location text is too long and wraps to a second line.
But other than that, good work!

if you like i can make a new .cpr file for you, il just move the calendar text upward, let me know if you want me to do it or not.
Cannot change chome_320x240.cpr file
When I try to replace this file with the slim panel file, I get a permissions error. Tried a registery unlocker and I still get the same thing. What else do I have to do to edit this file?
Move it using Resco or Total Commander.

tried with total commander, still get same permissions error. i have a sprint q9c, maybe they are locking that down in some other way
I have the same problem with a Motorola Q9h (AT&T). Total Commander brings up the same error in Vista that Windows Explorer does and Resco Explorer on the phone says I can't delete the file because it's in ROM!

Does anything like the opposite exist?
Im always a fan of bg4all, but for some tabs, id love to have a overlay bg (like seen when switching tabs) ontop of the set bg, in settings tab for example, i had to search quite a bit to find a background that has the text readable on all tabs.
Id also love to have background 'pages' behind text messages, like it does for emails

It's not possible. The png file that Sense uses as the shadow on tab previews is only 2x2 px so you can only have a transparent or opaque shadow in any color, but if you resize the image it's gonna cover the big tab icons with white boxes and there will be no shadow (I know, 'cause I tried).
The Start menu shadow is the same for all folders inside the Start Menu including Settings, so you can't have a different background everywhere. She shadow effect is actually made by two semi-transparent png files which overlap you Today background. They are both 800x480 and 480x800 px (for WVGA of course) so you can replace them with any image you like (transparent or opaque), just remember it's gonna cover your today wallpaper. So if'll put an opaque image you would pretty much do the same thing as changing the wallpaper is Today's Settings. But it makes sense to use semi-transparent images.
If you'd like to edit the slider shadow use WinCE Cab Manager to extract the files from transparent tab transitions.cab and use m9editor to convert the manila file to png. Then use Photoshop or any other transparency-supporting graphic software (not MS Paint obviously ). When your done convert the png file to manila format again using m9editor and copy the file to your device \Windows using Resco File Explorer or Total Commander. Overwrite the original.
Editing the Start Menu shadow is easier. Use WinCE Cab Manager to extract the png files from transparent start menu background.cab and edit them in Photoshop (or any other(...)). Then copy the files to \Windows (again, overwrite the originals).
Hope this will help some n00by designer.

[THEME][2010-05-02] Sense Glass skin v1.0 (only Home tab)

Hi all (sorry for my bad english),
This is my first Glass theme for Manila 2.5 (modified only Home tab).
I have tested this on LEON v1.6 WWE ROM (OS 5.2.21889.5.0.87, Manila 2.5.20121412.1) with Co0kie's Home Tab v1.7.0
Version with wallpaper

Version without wallpaper (black taskbar and softkeybar)
The taskbar icons and shortcut icons are not included (are in ROM)!
Taskbar icons by Dark Ninja.
Shortcut icons by dinik.
The softkeybar appearance is inspired by matt_jackson softbuttonbar.
Download:
Sense_Glass_skin_v1.0.cab - version with wallpaper and colorized taskbar and softkeybar
Sense_Glass_skin_v1.0_no_wallpaper.cab - version without wallpaper (black taskbar and softkeybar)
Sense_Glass_skin_v1.0.rar - the archive included all files which should be modified and file _setup.xml extracted from CAB (in this file you can see which registry keys are modified)
PSD_bars.rar - archive included taskbar and softkeybar in PSD format, if you can create there for your custom wallpaper
Install:
Install CAB file to device (not Storage Card!), then softreset device.
I recomended install BG4all for wallpaper in all Manila tabs, if you are using version with wallpaper and colorized bars.
seems like a nice theme.
but how is your taskbaricons called?
I don't know if I understood correctly, but the taskbar icons are included in Leo v1.6 ROM. I can't adjust these.
nice,good work
n1 one!
but pls make credits 4 the owner of base softbuttonbar
Thanks for advice. I'm sorry
Is it right now? (my english is very bad)
Very beautiful theme! Thanks for sharing. May I ask what the name if the manila file is for the glass notification curtain (not the icons)?
And while we're at it, how about the calendar curtain too?

Wow! You, my friend, are a gentleman and a scholar! Thank you so much!
I am so tempted to flash to a 6.5 ROM just to have this complete look...with the bottom task bar and everything! Very impressive! Thanks again, xMareXx!
Can you make a box slider *.cab with pic here! Thank U very much!!
Hey, friend....would you please make 31794a12_manila file with no HTC logo please? I love the glass box around weather icon...but not so much the HTC logo. LOL. Much thanks!

[How To] Change the right softkey

if you want to change the right softkey all you have to do is:
1: Download my manila file
2: Backup the original 07c67730_manila file in your windows folder
3: Copy my manila file to your windows folder
4: With your favorite registry editor goto: HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila
5: Change: HomeRSKPath / HomeRSKText / HomeRSKArguments to what ever you like
For contacts change HomeRSKPath to: Manila://people\browserlayer\?.page
To remove quick Links without the menu all you do is hold the quick link you dont want for about 3-4 seconds and then drag it away this works on my rom but gessing its the same for all roms

FYI, I used HD2Tweaks to achieve the same result without the hassle of backup up/copying manila files, going into the registry etc.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=588652
Nice iv never used hd2tweaks before gess ill have to make mine even better so that it will have some use
*EDIT*
After testing hd2tweaks the right softkey setting never worked for me so i gess this is for people where hd2tweaks dont work
*EDIT*
Don't know if it's the Dutty ROM I have, Co0kie's Home Tab, or the ROM that you use, but the long-hold on quicklinks does nothing for me. Shame, because that sounded like a nice feature.
im also useing duttys rom so i gess its the Co0kie's Home Tab
I'm using an old version of a Dutty ROM - HG v0.8. It could be something that he himself introduced, if you're using a later version than me, but if that's the case then I'm pretty sure installing Co0kie's Home Tab would stop it working.
Im useing dutty HG 2.9
I was trying to make a customizable right softkey menu but run into some problems. I could make any of the menu items run anything that i set in the registry but i could not change the menus text
E.G i could make it so that when you click on somethink like Set Local Time and Date it would open the all people page but i could not change the text from saying Set Local Time and Date to say Contacts or any kind of text
the menu is loaded from Manila://home_menu.dialog if anyone knows how i can make my own .dialog so i can change the menu it would be grate
Thank you Splder!
It is perfect!

i know the bottom 4 are gonna have 2 each a 64x64 and a 128x128
but im not sure about the 2 on the side
Thanks in Advance
If you mean the two on the side, as in the Call Mobile and Send SMS icons, I've attached the full set below [SMS, Mobile, Home, Work, etc..] Just extract the manila files in the ZIP to a dedicated folder. I've also attached a zip which includes the Tab Icons amongst the slider tray, as well as the Large Preview images.
All of the manila files have the System & Hidden Attributes, so you'll have to un-hide all hidden files, as well as show the system files, if you wish to simply get the manila names.
But if you want to edit, open CFC-GUI, and direct CFC-GUI to the folder with the extracted manila files.
INFO ::
'People Manila Files.zip' includes the icon set for the Left-Most icons in your picture (SMS, etc..)
'People Manila Tray & Slider.zip' includes ALL of the tray/slider icons, as well as the large Preview Icons that appear when sliding, from the People/Contacts area, .
