Fastboot problem - myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development

I've just bought a Rogers Magic. Rooting my phone, following Skittleguy's guide here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1545226. However upon the reboot into the operating system whereby I needed to fastboot again, caused the phone to be unable to boot into fastboot or any other kind of boot other than normal boot...the irony I know! I can however boot into the volume down button + power button and it says fast boot <back> but the back button triggers nothing.
My SPL now says:
SAPPHIRE UNKNOWN 32A ENG S-OFF H
HBOOT-1.33.2005 (SAPP50000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17
Apr 20 2009, 15:30:43
Any help would be appreciated as I would like to at least have recovery...

i've searched methods i used before and know they worked since i am on a different rom. but i cant get it to work anymore.
fastboot keeps saying it's waiting for device.

In what way to you start it up?
By pressing volume down with the power-on key, or by pressing the back button+power on?
The first mentioned never works when trying to root etc, but quickly moves on when i change to the backbutton type.
first tried the backbutton power startup to get into fastboot.
have tried the volumedown+power but same result.
Getting the same problem

Help :( amons_ra 1.7.0

Hi i have just tried to flash amons new 1.7.0 recovery image from terminal amd got, read error at 0×0000000 out of memory. so then i exited terminal then tried to reboot into recovery with no success it just hanged on the g1 logo? but im able to reboot my phone normally? please can anybody help me

if you can reboot your phone normally try doing it in the terminal emulator.
Code:
Copy recovery-RA-dream-v1.7.0.img to the root of your sdcard
start the terminal app
#flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-dream-v1.7.0.img
Make sure you are root when you run this command.
But don't do this if your running Cyanogen 5.0.7. If your running Cyanogen you'll have to do the fasboot method.
Code:
Copy recovery-RA-dream-v1.7.0.img to a location where fastboot can find it.
Boot your G1 into fastboot mode (boot while holding BACK)
Connect your G1 via usb to your pc/mac/...
fastboot devices (to make sure that fastboot "sees" your device)
fastboot flash recovery recovery-RA-dream-v1.7.0.img
This is the same code for all versions on RA. Just change RA-dream-v1.7.0.img, to whatever image file you have for your specific phone.
thanks for the quick reply ill try it when i get home thanks again!

I have recently changed the SPL to version 1.33.2010 as well as the RECOVERY to RA-sapphire.v1.7.0 in my Magic following the procedure above but, although the flash command seems to finish properly and I can reboot into the new recovery just after the update, when I boot completely the phone (load Android) and reboot into recovery again, something changes the recovery version back to the original one (Android 2e), while the SPL is correct.
Do you have any idea of what may be happening?
This is the original config I had:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32B SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33.2004 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-10
RADIO-2.22.19.26I
And this is the current one:

HBOOT-1.33.2010 (SAPP10000)

Semi-Bricked Sensation

I was given an HTC Sensation that seems to be bricked. I know it can be fixed, im having trouble getting it to do anything though :/ Can't boot to recovery either
Here's what the bootloader says:

HBOOT-1.27.0000
RADIO-11.23.3504.07_M2
OpenADSP-v0.2.6.0.2226.00.0131
eMMC-boot

Phone is S-ON, but can't get to a recovery menu, and sometimes the phone attempts to boot to a cyanogenmod rom, but never boots.
I think I can fastboot/ fastboot usb

Cannot Boot Into Recovery

Hi all,
I have a HTC One S. This is what my bootscreen shows:
*** TAMPERED ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2.15.0000
RADIO-1.11.50.05.28
OPENDSP-v31.1.0.45.0815
eMMC-boot
Currently there is no system on it. I got it as a "gift" because it is currently in a boot loop (HTC Splash Screen with the red writing under it, after a few mins it reboots and again.. and again).
I tried to install twrp (Version:twrp-2.3.3.0-ville and twrp-3.0.2-0-ville), but I cannot boot into revocery (Same as above, HTC Splash Screen with red writing, reboot, and reboot..)
Here is how I installed twrp:
Startet the device with power button and volume down
selected FASTBOOT
fastboot devices, lists the device as "HT23JW403327 fastboot"
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot
Then I tried to go into this "HBOOT" Mode again, selected "RECOVERY" but still, it keeps showing me the HTC Splash Screen (red writing under it) and after a time it reboots.
So I kinda don't know how to go on from here.
Is there a chance I can revive the device?
Thanks!
