A small patch ro enable 520MHz option in Device Speed (for WWE_O4/R1) - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 Software Upgrading

This option will enable PXA272 run at 520 MHz,by default it is not shown.
I advice user only set to 520 MHz while you want to play big movies,in normal plz keep it 416MHz.
DON'T run at 520MHz normal time.

Only available since O4

I want to notice every one, the main reason why it hidden by default.
YOU ARE USING IT'S AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I was using it about 10 hours without problems, but on your device it may cause problems.
Maybe it can cause unstability, system hangs or you can damage your CPU. It's on your own risk! Remember this.

小金能不能说说为啥可以超频到520mhz?

THX for big brother's great work! i am just Courious about the theory behind this amazing over-clocking of PXA272. how can it be possible? do we really have the 520mhz power provided by PXA272? If it's true that would be awesome!

I advice user only set to 520 MHz while you want to play H264 movies,that will make it faster,in normal plz keep it 416MHz.
DON'T run at 520MHz normal time.

520MHz is the top speed which designed for PXA272,and for PXA270 is 624MHz

http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=cpu&id=a272&c=intel_xscale_pxa272
说272的推荐最大时钟频率也是624MHz

wikipedia上的PXA272是520MHz

Thanks guys! I actually thought of that before posting. I went to that site and downloaded it but the plugin is literally for battery only unlike the picture I posted it has more stuff on it.

[Q] Is This System ROM "free space amount" normal?

Is the system ROM supposed to be almost filled to capacity like that??
I'm rooted, stock running ADW Launcher Pro, flashed CWM community kernel, (voodoo lagfix), all AT&T Bloatware frozen, and phone is running good, Quadrant (for what its worth) is averaging the normal 1700, but battery life is not so good.... Can get all day use if i'm at work, but if i'm playing with it constantly battery life no more than 4 hrs or so....If thats avg then thats ok, but i think i was getting a lot better BEFORE i "voodoo'ed" : )
Don't want to flash any ROM if i can help it - so many different builds/versions/tar/pit/ i'd rather just leave it the way it is UNLESS anyone can point me towards a STOCK ROM that requires little or no "thinking"...lol
I have 3x extra batteries so i guess its not a HUGE deal, but i like to conserve wasted energy when i can... Also does Juice Defender really HELP? All those settings completely befuddle me, i prolly wind up using MORE cuz i'm like "nooooo, i need that, and that and that and that, don't limit that, omg i can't live without THAT!!!".... lol
thanx y'all,
Ms D
I have a little more left than you. Dont know if its normal though.
I'm not a developer but I try to play one on XDA. Seriously I'm not a developer. DlevROM Yo!
I have a little more than BigFau but not much, "27.5". Besides, this is just the space that the Rom is occupying it doesnt affect the internal sd or external sd from my understanding.
It's normal.....especially if you are mostly stock which you are.....and while you may have bloatware frozen, it is still installed.......ans yes voodoo being enabled takes IP a little more .....that is merely the storage capacity for ROMs or your phone operating system....
A stripped down aosp ROM like mine as you can see will have more space left ....

[Q] Best Governor for Gaming?

I know this is kinda vague because of the amount devices with various governors.
Its just I want the best performance for gaming and would like some advice since I don't actually concern myself with governors often. To specify the list I currently have these -
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now its currently on performance as I think this might be best for gaming although I could be 100% wrong.
Does overclocking or underclocking affect the overall games?
I'm mainly using Emulators, at times they seem to drop fps for seconds other times the game seems to just run slow. I know a concern is I'm running ICS.
I'm on a almost 3 year old device but one that has made a legacy - Droid Incredible.
Any advice?

You're right, the performance governor should give you the best gaming experience, for more detailed information on governorns, look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369817
If you are still dissatisfied with the performance of your phone, there might be an option where you can choose the max. cpu frequency, and by giving it a bigger value, you can overclock your phone. But be advised that this can damage your phone, and you might run into some warranty issues if you do that. So be warned, and do it for your own responsibility. I'm not responsible to any damage it does to your phone. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info, helped greatly.
I already knew about Max/min values
I was just curious if they affected game performance, either way this helped a lot.

This is the parameter testing&suggestion thread for L Speed. Main usage of it is testing different kind of parameters (dev&user suggestions).
Please follow rules before you post anything.
Rules:
- Write your device model (It's really important because of hardware specifications)
- Current ROM&Kernel
- Pass some results WHY are suggested parameters good (logs, benchmarks, screenshots)
The most important rule:
- If you do not know what are you doing, don't post anything

Probably you misunderstood thread a bit, but nvm, i'll explain
This thread is dedicated for parameter suggestions and testing, by that I mean, that anyone can suggest parameters change, own formulas and so on.

Howdy, Nice app.
The values for the intelliactive governor are wrong for the Samsung Galaxy S4. The correct values are in the screenshot.

What values are wrong?? target_loads for interactive governor?
Don't worry about it, kernel will chose the closest possible freq, that's the way of how it's work.

Themes / Apps / Mods Enable 90fps [NON-ROOT]

I got this apk from a test unit, it woks on my friend's ROG Phone 5, you'll get 90fps on quick settings.

90fps seems to be the sweet spot for battery life, but I'm a little suspect here haha.
I remember seeing an ASUS mod on zentalk saying that they would not be offering that option. 120hz panels in general can produce a 90hz refresh rate, but it would actually look worse than 120hz AND 60hz. There is no 90hz profile for the panel. If you force the screen to run 90hz without the proper profile you will get some wonky color issues/color banding etc.
Forcing a 90hz refresh without the proper support behind it makes no sense.
If this is true, I'll stick with the 60hz for casual use and change manually when gaming to something higher. The Rog phone 3 can actually be set at 160hz via an adb command, but that doesn't mean there is a visual difference there.
I'm regurgitating what I've read there, but one of the posters is very informed and has been in the rog phone community for quite a bit of time.
If you want to read the thread on zentalk, search "Rog 5 refresh rate" on their site.
In the newest firmware, they added proper support for 90.
