Here is a splash screen I whipped up...Since splash screens are so easy to make I almost did not share this...but I absolutely love XDA and this is me trying to contribute. If you don't like this splash screen I would rather not hear your opinion...but if you like it please let me know.
Important
If you have never flashed anything (hard-spl, rom, radio, etc) on your phone STOP NOW and start reading this thread! If you don't know what you are doing you could ruin your phone. Of course...if you know what you are doing then you know flashing a splash screen is safe.
Directions Via ActiveSync
1. Download the Krook6023_Splash.zip file (located at the bottom of this post) and unzip it to your computer.
2. REMOVE SIM and microSD CARDS!!
3. Turn phone back on and wait until it syncs with your PC.
4. Run the Custom_RUU.exe from the Krook6023_Splash folder.
5. When the process is complete the phone will restart and you are done!!
Of course if you know how...you could always flash this with your memory card as well...enjoy!!

Hi,
just installed HTC Task Manager v2.1 (build 35096) from here:
http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2009/03...ild-35096-task-manager-for-windows-phone.html
After soft-reset, my phone is not booting completely. All I see is a bright green bar on top of the screen immediately after reboot (before windows logo). No reaction to any buttons.
This post may help others avoid same problems.
And please let me know if there is a way to get my phone working again? Would you suggest a hard-reset or there is still a chance for me to fix it somehow? Is there a safe-mode in WM6?
My Phone: Diamond2
My ROM: T-Mobile DE (bundled)
Do a hard-reset and try flashing it.
You can't really say it's "bricked" until you've attempted either of those.
Bricked means completely unusable device which is nothing but this

}
And the solution to your problem is, try to softreset 3-4 times, if the problem persist you have no option but to hardreset.
And that brick is a peace and love one
Thank you everybody.
Hard reset helped. In that sense my phone was only "temporary bricked".
First of all: I did not make this myself!
Found this a while ago for the DjDroid Android 2.2 Release packed together with WiFi-N Driver and some other stuff.
I just repacked this, so only the Circle-Battery is installed without the other stuff around.
All Credits to the developer (name not known)!
This should work on odexed and de-odexed ROM's afaik.
Of course, you see the amount of battery remaining in percent in the middle of the circle.
EDIT:
Sorry for the trouble at the moment. Seems like the Update forces you, to reenter the Mobile-Network APN Settings. I will try to fix this

I just installed it though, and I appear to have now lost my HDSPA icon. Instead I get a picture of a phone with 5 bars underneath it?
Hi debug77,
would be helpful, if you could post a screenshot of this. Please let me know, what kind of ROM you got running, perhaps I can help you with another file fitting for your ROM

If you have TWRP you can delete the setup wizard from system/app/setupwizard and then when you reboot the phone you can use it

Click to collapse
i dont have it. Can i flash it with odin? or have to unlock bootloader first
You need to unlock boorloader first and then flash it via fastboot
