WM 6.1 Rom comming?

hi,
i was wondering if there was an WM 6.1 rom comming for the VOX, cause i saw 6.1 roms for Touch en others.

Could you please use the search before posting a new topic, there is already a thread for that topic. And to answer your question, it is highly probable that there will be a WinMo 6.1 for the Vox!

Dr. Gonzos New Guava ROM will probably get the WM6.1 make over, as it is the best WM6 ROM around, not even seen any other WM6 ROM for the Vox on here.

Well, you can cook by yourself, using the kitchen 0.3!
First we need a 6.1 ROM, before we can start trying to cook!

Help Required

I am noob in windows mobile I have just switched from nokia n73 to HTC S710. Some people think it was not a good idea but anyhow. 4 days back I tried to upgrade my cousins gene but after applying HSPL it was dead. I asked a lot of people in gene subform how recover, in the end a Rom chef told me if I had bought phone this year then there is no solution to it. So finally I had to take it to HTC service centre and they have asked me to check after 5 days.
Now I have bought Vox myself so learning from past experience I am asking you guys first. I have read wikki though.
1) Which is the fastest but most stable rom? (Which does not have bugs)
NEO ROM for Vox v0.9 [New XIP 20202]
Windows Mobile 6.1 v1.1
Or Hikey's Rom tell me the version.
or someother.
2) From my information given Which USPL should I use 1.16 or 1.34 or 1.35 and also can I use them or will they brick my phone?

First you should decide whether you want WinMo 6.0 or 6.1. As far as I heard the ROMs with the new XIPs are faster. I would say the Neo ROMs are the fastest 6.0 ROMs. For 6.1 there isn't such a huge difference But my experience is that the 96 dpi ROMs are pretty fast, but they are by far not bug free. Otherwise you have to decide what software you need. Gonzo's ROM has everything in it, my Lite ROM is pretty much the same, just without some apps.
In the Wiki is a list of hopefully most ROMs.
For USPL the 1.16 is definately working, as it did for over a year now. I don't know if the newer ones have any advantages or not. If you go to the wiki and follow the guides carefully you should not brick your phone. Link is in my signature.

My SPL is 1.34.000 as I have seen from my bootloader information. So can I use 1.16.
Is Neo Rom .9 bug free, have you tried it also I have read few threads people saying Hikey's WM6.1 roms are stable but does not have his thread here. From my information given is stock rom for my current os available somewhere.

It is on the XDA-dev ftp. There are a couple of shipped ROMs.

Well not all speak chinese I am on WM 6.1 v1.0 by LeFab47 alias fireburned with new xip 20202. So far it is the best for me. I hope he gives a version without thirdpart applications.

how to update wm5 to wm 6.1 or latest

i have O2 xda exec which has windows mobile 5

A piece of advice when posting and especially as you are wanting to flash your device...... You need to read a whole heap first and understand what you are doing..... if you do not you will end up bricking ur device and end up a shiny paperweight....
Suggest you read the wiki page and as pilot says the relevant section on xda, and please dont flash if u dont understand the process because we will only see you in here asking for more help on how to unbrick yes?

If you arent prepared to read then you shouldnt flash ..
ps before my first flash i read for hours and days, making sure i understood what was happening, why it was and what to do if it went wrong. My first flash on my prophet didnt go right, but i knew after reading more why and how to correct it.

as long as your confidant to do so. what i would aslo recomend to do is also download an official rom or a 6.1 rom so if you dont like the 6.5 then u can go to a stable rom

THe universal is an old device and hence you wont get official 6.5 rom or even a 6.1 come to that lol. If you read the wiki page above like a said before you will find a link to all official roms

so 6.1 or 6.5 will not come to my device
it means i have to use this 5.0 version only ?

lol HTC wont bring out an official 6.1 or 6.5 rom for that device, its too old and they want people to buy new devices, hence why XDA is great!!!
You only need the official 5.0 if something goes wrong, my mate had the same device and used a m2d rom which was very nice, so flash away!!

Download and keep safe an offical 5.0 rom, dont use it unless flashing to cooked 6.1 goes wrong.
There are many good 6.1 roms in the forum, so go ahead and try some when you understand what you are doing

so i dont want to try it if it is not clear that 6.1 is supported ot not
i will only do if u r 100% sure that it is supported

take a look in the universal section, you'll find many 6.1 roms there my friend

I can recommend you Tomal wm 6.1 8.5 or 8.1 ROM´s
Actually wm6.5 ROM´s are in beta and are not so stable, and if its your first time flashing go for 6.1

First of all I am sorry about my english as I am from Pakistan and english is not our native language . I dont know if its posted before or not if it is posted admin plz remove my post . Its 6.1 T-mobile uk rom I dont know when its relased but i just checked the day before yesterday and downloaded it from T-mobile site . I know everyone is using 6.5 now a days but may be its usefull for some one thats why i am posting a link here

I am not sure about the radio because before flashing i was using tpc rom which recomend the same radio so i dont have any idea thats its changed or not.

Onboard D3D Driver?!
After first start of this rom on my MDA Vario III, I've tried to run the q3ce, which requires D3D drivers. I did not install any of them! Just tried tu run the game, and it is running!!! Slow, and unplayable, but running! So I think this rom should have a kind of driver, shouldn't it? And I've realized, that the camera is much faster, even in darker room. And it requires a better video driver for this performance, isn't it?

For more then two weeks I'm looking for a GERMAN clean WM6.5 ROM for my TyTN II that I can use to cook my own Rom. Is there alredy a RTM Version of WM 6.5 for the TyTN II?
Where can I download an such a clean WM 6.5 Rom?
I will publish the rom after cooking and testing here, of course.

There will be no RTM 6.5 rom For the kaiser.

Is there any other possibility to get a german 6.5 Rom for cooking? I found some cooked german WM6.5 here in the forum. Where did the chefs got their roms from?

It Is most Likely they took the default set up and changed the files. I would PM one of the cooks and see if they will be nice enough to share. Maybe should have done that first sense the only kitchen thread is for WWE, instead of starting a new thread.

If you'd take my kitchen, I might put together German 23409 SYS and PM it to you (of course it would be usable to other kitchens aswell).
And you'd have to reupload german lang to different server, I cant access rapidshare (640 people with my IP, plus rapidshare is banning us for too much bandwith).
