OEM Installed apps include poorlyduck's VistaCube and Vista.tsk. VistaCube can be uninstalled if you choose to do so. You must soft-reset after uninstall for the touch screen to function.
You must delete the following registry key for your favorite contacts to show on the Home Plugin: HKLM/SOFTWARE/OEM/MASD/QUICKDIAL.
Do this before setting your favorite contacts and your selections should show up on both Home Favorites and on the Cube's Favorites.

After feeling 6.1'd out with instabilities and such. I opted to flash back to 6.0. This is a very nice ROM. Similar to Alex's 1.62 Home rom. Good Job. Thanks

Having problems with the HTC dialer
Using kaiser tweak i changed back to the HTC dialer (video) and after pressing the first number, the other numbers don't show up ... they do get pressed ... and do register, but i can't see them

Your best bet is to install dutty's dialler to fix the problem. The HTC Video dialler is probably missing some Icons/etc. due to streamlining this ROM for the AT&T networks which don't have video call capabilities.
I will make a not of this to fix in a future release.

I found a non video dialer that works well, and i even found a hebrew skin for it,
but do you know where i can get the dialer you mentioned ? maybe it will work with video.

Funny question... how can I get rid of the damn cube ? ... it is the most annoying thing in the world .... i play solitaire dragging a card and it pops up ... i scroll and it pops ... very annoying !

You can remove the cube under settings/system/remove programs. I allowed for it to be installed on first boot, but also to be removed. After you remove it you will need to soft-reset to get your touch screen back.

You can add the Solitare exe as an exception in the Cube config, so it will not open up when you are Solitare. Just a thought.

My uc config file did not run after the customizations ran. Is this just a problem with mine or has anyone else had this issue?

Recorded Video wont playback
hey is anyone having problems with recorded videos not playing on the phone. Windows media player is not associated with them does anyone no how to change this this happened on this rom and his previous rom. i never had this problem until in installed his roms. other that that i love the rom. i dont even see how to add extensions in advanced config someone help please.

Every since i installed his rom windows media player on my phone will NOT play .Mp4's that i recorded it keeps saying cannot play file. the file is either corrupted or the player does not support the format you are trying to play. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

Hold up there chief. I sent you a PM, gotta give a busy man some time. I haven't had any issues with video on this ROM, I thought you were referring to my 6.1 ROM. Can you upload the file that won't play so I can test?
Open the file using TCPMP in the Multimedia tab. It may not show anything at this time and probably won't. Stop the file and shut TCPMP. Then use file explorer to open the file and it should now be registered to TCPMP and play properly.

I've tried to figure this out, but I can't get UC to run at all. There may be a conflict with the OEM autorun.exe and the SDAutorun not being called to via the .txt files. I'll see what I can do to fix the problem.

Workaround for .mp4 files not playing.

For some reason I seem to be unable to receive incoming bluetooth connections. Problem happens only with the incoming connections, outgoing files go no problems.
Tried setting the bluetooth as disoverable, connectable and removed the passcode; still no dice. When another phone tries to connect it shows a connection error while I don't see anything on my Tilt.
This could be something related with my settings?

Back to 6.0
I don't know if it was the new radios or 6.1, but I could not get a stable build for the like of me. Freezing, GPS not working, etc... yes, it (6.1) was a little faster, but the price was too high.
I decided to revert back to 6.0 and happened on to XTRM-1.62-6.0X! Finally I have a stable build again!

I added the plugins as well (TCPMPflvplugin-v0.4.2.zip) still no go.
edit: I can't play any videos in tcpmp. I dont think i can play in wmp either.

hey guys i have an app called slick http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=slick its an im client very good btw but it doesnt give me an onscreen notification when im "outside" of the app that theres a messege or that ppl have signed on or off
i have a friend using the Nokia E61 and it works perfectly and another friend he uses the tytn also works perfectly u see the messege scroll across the screen untill checked
im using the vox of course its running Windows Mobile 6.1 v1.1 by Dr. Martin Gonzo
is there a way to fix this issue?

You need to include the plugin on your home screen, might not be possible on Smartphone since you can't dynamically change Today plugins as easily as on Professional devices.

Same problem with QIP ...

Beejive for WM not working on my D2?!?

i've successfully installed BeejiveIM_v0_1_.9.2.4 on my D2.
on another site it was written that it can be installed w/o any serial number and need of registering, activation whatsoever.
so, i select No when asked if i want to activate.
then i try to connect to my YMSG account, it shows that it tries to log in...and then i get this "empty" error you can see in the attachment.
can any1 help? do you guys got this application working on your D2s?

I've been using BeejiveIM on diamond 1 and topaz and I had no problem whatsoever...
I now have 0.9.2.4 installed on my Topaz with WM6.1 and it works fine!
Unfortunately BeejiveIM it's the only messenger that I found and I like for wm touchscreen devices... other are just ugly, hard to use, ...
//BTW, Activate your bejive IM with empty details and try again. (just click on activate and than ok without filling anything)

I use MUndu and it's ok until know. It not have today plugin like IM+ but it's works

Don´t know if it is a problem with WM 6.5, but Call Firewall doesn´t seem to work anymore.
Any ideas out there for a nice proggie to do call firewalling, based on black lists / unknown / private callers etc ? What are you guys using for that atm ?

I previously was using call firewall on my touch HD with 6.5 energy rom and it works fine.
Have not tried of my current HD2 though......

Well, that is at least interesting. I tried call firewall 1.4 too, and it installs, loads, but don´t work (eg. if I choose to block unknown calls for example, they don´t get blocked).
Really really strange. Tried on my TP2 with WM 6.5 and it didn´t work as well

Windows Voice Command and SPB Mobile shell

I use win 6.1 with Voice command 1.6.21725 and Spb Shell 3.5 but
when i press left button, which i assign with Win voice Command, after the beep sound, non of the commands that maintained from their site are working.
What i do wrong?

Not currently running mobile shell but it shouldn't matter. One does not conflict with the other.

Somewhere i aw this response:
"Those of you with a HD2 or a TP2, keep in mind that those phones use a Widcomm BT stack instead of the usual MS Stack... The idiots at HTC have decided to change this on their new phones.... MANY people have complained of issues. You can activate the program using your BT headset, but all sounds and commands from this application will come from the speaker on the phone. Phone calls dialled in or out will still be connected through the headset but you won't get caller ID.
I think HTC made a huge mistake changing to the Widcomm stack. Many users have said that although the Widcomm stack has a prettier interface and is generally more stable, it is not as advanced as the MS stack and therefore won't play nice with many applications and equipment (car kits, etc). The MS stack is still considered the standard and more apps are written using that as the assumed base/stack. This is also not something that is easily cooked into a custom ROM. You can't simply change the stack... its too tightly integrated and quite difficult to just change. The only possibility is if HTC releases a base ROM for cooks to play with that may have updated Widcomm stack which by some chance will work with MSVC.
Also, on the Handango site, it shows that MSVC was updated late Nov! I think I read somewhere that MS was updating it slightly to allow it to work with the HD2 or TP2... I could be wrong. Anyone out there has a copy we could try? I have no idea what the version number is although it should still be 1.6.xxxxx "

I also have a US version 1.6.19209 and want another language. Maybe you can look on the torrents site. But probably you'll find US versions. But you also knows that's illegal. MS Voice Command is no freeware.
