I was wondering if anyone have made a skin for the standard HTC phone-keyboard?
I would love to have it in black, like the dialer I have downloaded from XDA-developers in another thread...
Have tried searching the forum, and Google and Bing, for it - but no luck so far...
Hope that someone can help me with this, thanks in advance

Maybe I should show what I would like the phone-keyboard-layout to look like!?
This is the dialer I downloaded from XDA-developers, and it's a skin looking like that I would love for the phone-keyboard.
I know that there are different keyboard software types, but I am looking for a skin for the built in native keyboard that comes from HTC.

You might wan't to consider pokeing around on this site: www.pocketpcthemes.com they must have nearly a million themes my now.

It's quite easy to make your own themes using McDebs or Thememaker X.. I usually just do my own themes when I want a theme with my girl's picture on it..and if I want something else.. this site already has everything.

at the expense of sounding boastful, most of the themes i came across the web (apart from a couple which were part of a theme suite) were...let us say the last option in this thread's poll.
not to sound disrespectful to any one but dude i am not intrested in some semi naked obese ugly female staring at me when i turn on my pda.
some people might say that my themes are crap, but hey i like them..and i wanted to share them with you.

Dude, is it just me or they they f*** up the visibility of text? I m still on wm5(universal) and take a look at how the contacts or any PIM app is getting displayed. This is NOT happening with any other theme
hey everybody,
i just went from the iphone which i had for 3 years to the fuze and i would like to get the 6.5 version. i am new to the process of installing everything so if anyone has and tutorials, tips, or the best software to use please let me know. i checked out youtube and i didnt see any really clear info. any recommendations or how to info would be really great.

Hi and welcome to our playground.
Here are some nice rom's that i think are great:
EnergyROM 'Photon' is a very popular rom lot's of updates releases fast.
CM-XOR MM PRO Manila 2.5 VGA is the one i am using right now it has a very good batterylife (3 day's on normal use, with other roms i get at the most 1.5 day's).
It also has a ported version of Manila 2.5 which i really love.
DynastyPro Series is a rom that looks and feels more like the iphone which you might want to try to compare to your old phone.
For new apps for your phone you should check the Development and Hacking forum.
Lots of great stuff to play with.

Manila is the graphic interface that replaces the default wm homescreen.
There are currently 3 different versions around (correct me if i'm wrong)
The original build 1, the enhanced build 1.5 and the even more enhanced Manila 2.5 edition.
Those are the ones i know off.(there is also a 2D version but that is for phones not able to run 3D.)
We are a bunch of s***-ups (no harm intended)
If anyone else had posted in here asking that question he'd be flamed, but since he's from iphone to WM (which all of us agree is sooooo much better) we start handing him out all the good threads

Is there any YouTube Tab out there? I have searched and cannot find one....any ideas?

I think this would be nice, however I have never seen anything about a stand alone YouTube Tab. I wonder if someone could write the program to add the tab like the guy did for the Facebook Tab.
I searched for some info on how to make a custom tab, but I cannot find anything related to developing a tab.... any ideas?

Im running youtube 2.6, runs well but its cooked into my rom so i dont have the cab.
I do have another one though, but havent tried it.

hey thanks, but that is not what I was talking about....I want to make/find a tab for youtube (like the tabs on the slider, you know-the home, message, mail, internet, weather, settings ...etc,etc.. tabs?)...I also have youtube 2.6 BTW...
so I hope someone can help me out here, I am willing to put in work -the only problem is I cannot find the resources ?.....

I think the guy working on the facebook tab found that HTC had done alot of the development work themselves and had hidden it away. Atleast thats how it reads. So maybe this isnt such an easy thing to do

Ah sorry mate, misunderstood. Like a FB thread going around, ive read this is not such a simple thing to do either, good luck.
Good idea though, id trade it for the twitter tab anyday of the week lol

Same here buddy, would be nice but doubt we'll se it happen any time soon..
yeah, I agree that it does not seem easy...seems like too much b$ just for something so simple....i dont know, I am not a newbie to programming, but this is like a whole other world of programming (or w/e you will call it)...
in theory: I would need to put a place holder for a new tab OR take an existing one and change it... have that tab point to/open up the YouTube executable and thats it!...
in practice (it seems): I would have to recompile/decompile/edit multiple manila files...? which even that is sounding much more easier than actual 'practice' of this theory...
any ideas?
this is such a great idea it would be very nice if they could figure this one out
it'll be even better if the dev's could skin the YouTube app a little so that it really intergete in sense

I remember having a youtube tab my HTC wing in manila 2D there wae also a google maps tab (That was coo) tho I thought there would be those tabs on the HD2 when i bought one (been on android for while)

Well, Ive been searching for months trying to find any stand alone start menu icons to fit with my Dusk theme as i love dinks taskbar but its changed my start button and my animated loading icon.
Before you accuse me of not Googling or searching threads, all i seem to keep coming back to is the 6.5x only thread, nothing else. They look awesome but no use to me.
Any one able to point me in the right direction?
Also if you know where I can get a choice of animated loading icon (eg.spinny win mo symbol) that would be great.

Look here it's a link to someone else searching, we can try to keep it in one thread, I can't find them for the life of me. I did have quite a number but I am gonna trawl through the Themes and Apps and see if I can find the thread.
original ganjaman has done some start buttons for 6.5. and i know he is lookin into it. best to ask him to make u one . I've learnt how to make them for 6.5x but not for 6.5 .

My buddy is working on a sticker for the back of my GTab and he needs a specific font. It's called "Phat-Bold Italic". I'm hoping that someone on here has it.

It's also known as phantom. I'll check when I stop by our office today and see if we have either one. I will also post on one of the forums I am on that is good about helping with fonts.

That is different then the one that I mentioned, hate that there can be the same name for so many different fonts.
Still waiting to hear back from my other forum. I don't have that font personally yet.
How much text are you using? If the guy doing the decal for you is worth his skills then he should be able to vectorize a sample image of the font from myfonts.com and use that. I've done that plenty of times at work when I just needed word or two in a font I didn't have.
