HOWTO use multitouch (MyHero ROM) on Magic with the bluetooth

For HTC Magic, purchased from Vodafone (version 32A), I tried to find a suitable ROM, which is fast, pretty, multilanguage and everything will work. I wanted multitouch (mainly due to the Internet and media gallery), due to bluetooth wireless headset, the correct synchronization with Google Calendar, and certainly, which starts Monday. Finally, I also discovered that I rootnutý phone, I could use bluetooth to exchange files or tether for use as a mobile modem (wifi AP) to the laptop.
Wiki helped me a lot http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Sapphire_Hacking for orientation in ROM, according to the instructions I flashnul recovery (instructions on the wik, made a backup system and tested.
After numerous attempts, I dohrabel to MyHero http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552274 where I worked everything but the bluetooth (and LED). Wireless headphones that were to emerge, boasted, but then when playing music, nothing wrong. He writes about it as an unresolved problem, but I finally found a solution (not invented, but sought):
In the old ROM MyHero 0.1.1, which is still downloadable at the above address, the bluetooth worked fine, I found that just copying the ROM from this new release (which is really better) liba2dp.so file and directory bluez_plugin directly the directory / system / lib. I can not directly in ROM to make a change (to replace a file to another) so that my recovery is then recorded, always says that the error in the control and the process stops. If anyone can, I'll be glad for interpretation or link.
I helped a little so ruggedly that I first installed the old Magic MyHero-0.1.1 and used to copy files to flow somewhere on the SD card Root Explorer program with which you get everywhere. Then I installed the new ROM (tested with MyHero-1.1.1) and again Root Explorer files copied from the SD (replacing the original) to / system / lib. Then just restart - and everything goes just fine. Remember that for our system to allow it to copy something, you must press the top right remount.
I do not know how this procedure is universal, I like the feedback.

k.. first point, your title is wrong...
you should change your title to "HOWTO Fix Bluetooth on Myhero Rom".
I don't have myhero rom installed, can't help you.

Tried it with myhero-1.1.1 and myhero-1.1.2 roms using Androbex.
Pairing works like it used to but data transfer fails.

when i use 0.1.1 i copy liba2dp.so , bluez_plugin with astro explorer in sdcard, flash 1.1.1 and replace liba2dp.so and bluez_plugin with astro , but it show error...

Q: Is there a way to remove app2sd?

3.0 for some reason doesn't work. It keeps telling me no data connection. 2.0 and now 2.1 do work however. Any ideas?

excellent ROM,
been from 2.0 upto 2.1 and now 3.0
only thing is that i don't see "secondary SD memory" in settings?
formated using SDParted script Swap=32Mb, EXT4=512Mb, rest FAT32 (8Gb class 6)
Internal Phone Storage stays 280~290Mb, so i presume Apps2SD is working ?

very simple ROM but with some nice goodies. Keeps it simple and efficient.
Question, w/ compcache enabled at start, should I customize my own userconf / unserinit.sh to set swap size, and whether to use linux or backing swap?
What are the default settings?

Default is just 24Meg of compcache. Of course you can put user.conf and userinit.sh on /system/sd and it will take values from there.

hi, i have a problem: i did wipe and i flashed this ROM from recovery, but the boot stops at the screen "android"...
i had a 4.0.4 cyanogen with 3 partitions: fat32, ext2 and swap...
how can i solve this problem?

first of all, thanks for your work, and all your current updates.
Second, I have not tried what I am going to ask, but anyway here it is.
Since Cyanogen found out the way to create "dual" roms for the dream and magic everyone has been doing them that way, but in all of them I have always had problems with the microphone sensitivity when in a call.
There is a little fix (pushing the audio files from an original 32B to the rom), wich works perfectly.
Now the question: Is this the normal procedure? no one has noticed this error before? can this still be done in Donut (I think the location of the files is the same)? Is this just a problem only I am having?
(ok, maybe more than one question )
The fix refered is the following:
adb push AudioPreProcess.csv /system/etc

To be honest I am not really that bothered with the senseUI having played with pretty much all the hero builds, speed and stability is more important to me but androids inbuilt email client is about the worst one I have ever tried, the hero version is slightly more usable though.
I am surprised that there are not more email client apps in the market, all I can find on there is k9.
Also while I am here, will the blur theme work on 3.0?? I quite liked that one and it has been overwritten.

Push this and the full ROM from the front page to your sdcard. Reboot into a recovery that allows you to flash a .zip that isn't only named "update.zip" (like Amon_RAs RAv1.2.1). Apply the ROM from the first page, them apply this patch. It will change the kernel to a 32A compliant one with BFS 300 (thanks to Radix999 for keeping on top of the BFS/kernel situation).

Whenever you go from Cupcake to a Donut to a Hero ROM or visa versa you have to wipe your ext3 partition as well or it boot loops. The easiest way to do this is to upgrade to Amon_RA's recovery and it gives you the option without having to go into console.
So wipe the phone, wipe the ext3 and repair ext partition, then flash the ROM.

I know the recovery says Dream but I have it on my 32B with no issues, as well as several other people.

Anyone know if MyFaves works with this? I don't want to install it then have it FC.

up and running since 8 AM with only a single issue, but I think thats BFS300 related bc I experienced the same issues on the hero builds using it.
edited user-conf so Im running 192 MB backing swap, 80 swappiness, and 100% good compress.
Only thing I want now is a dark theme, but seeing how stable and reliable this build it, its only a matter of time before it picks up the momentum to attract theme makers.

you are confused. this is a rom not a recovery image. did you post in the wrong thread or something?

Beautiful rom, but I've some problems:
- gps starts, but never give me my position.
- the bar on the top of the screen (the bar that contains notification, icons, clock...) suddenly disappeared

Sync service seems to trip up over a new sync adapter that wasn't in 1.6 - "subscribedfeeds - com.google". It will constantly retry this adapter and ignore all others. I've messed about with swapping in the subscribedfeeds apk from 1.6, this fixed the problem but caused FCs with the calendar and gapps.. a better solution is needed. Manual sync using the dev tools works fine, but it keeps falling back into a loop with this other adapter and I don't know how to stop it... let's see if any of you can come up with anything 8)
Aside from this rather large problem, all google apps are working with no force closes as yet.
NOTES:
Requires the standard 3 partition setup, fat, ext, swap and the deathspl. G1/Dream/ADP1 only.
My update script will erase userdata.. it's easier that way until the rom is stable.
First boot has been cleaned up. Sign-in works normally, but the phone will take a few minutes after boot to settle down and get up to speed. There is still a force close from LatinIME on boot sometimes.. not figured that one out yet.

Hey man, I've downloaded it twice, and so far the .zip been corrupt both times.

tested on 32a with xRom 32A kernel by eug89...
Wifi, BT and GPS seem work..
sync also work for contacts and mail..multiple google account also work..no FC so far..
but like TS has been mention before after everything setup the sync seem not working anymore..it seems just stuck on sync (sync icon always comes out in status bar)..mail is not coming and new contacts didnot sync, if i disable sync in setting then reenable it sync will work but after that it stuck again..son the syncronisation just work for the first time..

I've been crafting a 32B rom for a few weeks based on the AOSP Eclair branch since the 2.1 code release. So far I've managed to build the source, build a kernel from Cyanogen's source (thanks cm), and get the google apps working from the Milestone dump Maxisma posted a few weeks back (thanks Maxisma).
It works pretty well but now I'm stuck ...
1. How do I get bluetooth working? It won't turn on .. if I search the forum it just brings up a million posts about bluetooth not working on hero roms.
2. My wlan starts but I can't obtain an IP address via dhcp ... which is a bit strange ... Not sure if this is a rom problem though or a local router problem. I compiled the wlan driver after compiling the kernel and copied the wlan.ko into by lib directory.
3. Last thing is ncommander's camera driver. I've tried getting his source but I am a git newbie and have not been able to merge his code into my local Eclair repo. How do I do this? Or if it's easier can I just grab the compiled binaries from a working Eclair rom (I'm not sure which files these would be).

Bluetooth is important to me though, I use it every day to listen to podcasts with Doggcatcher.
I think I'll go with your idea and release it as beta, just one big issue to sort first. It is rooted (ro.secure=0 in the right places) and I can get root when I am in "adb shell" but I can't get root using the superuser.apk and included 'su' binary. adb logcat gives me these errors:

[ROM] "Android 2.1 for 32B" - No A2SD - Small and light
Here's an Eclair rom I built specially for the 32B Magic / myTouch3G. It is built from the Android 2.1 source that was released a few weeks ago, and has a kernel built from Cyanogen's kernel sources for Eclair (sources here).
This rom does not support A2SD. I've always found it annoying that almost all 32B roms require the ext3 and swap partition on your SD card. The Magic does not need A2SD in my opinion ... and getting rid of A2SD and swap on sd cards eliminates the slowest link in the chain. With a bit more optimisation this could be a very fast rom.
Visually this is almost completely stock, if you like nice themes and graphics for your roms I would suggest MetaMorph, and browsing the Android theme section.
This is a completely new rom to XDA, not anyone elses work rehashed.
Complete with:
- Root privilage/superuser
- Google Apps
- Big APN list
- Busybox
- Android Market working
- Support for wired/wireless tether (get the APK from here -- I'll include it with later releases)
- Support for swap partitions (swapper/droidswap ...)
This is a stable rom, everything works (apart from the snag list below) and there are no force closes.
Snag list - what doesn't work
- On first boot, make sure you select "com.android.provision.DefaultActivity". I'm working on a fix for this.
- Camera not working. Plan on putting in Ncommander's camera driver for next release.
- Bluetooth not working. <-- I need help with this. Can any devs offer advice?
- Camcorder (doesn't work on any Eclair roms)
- Not compatible for G1/Dream ... you probably wouldn't want it anyway without A2SD

This 'max8907c_rtc_read_alarm_boot' function do not exists in original source and i assume you wrote it, then i at least need to see a part of code where you define it and how you use it, and explaining what it intend to do will help.

I think, that time i used 2.3.6 ZSKK5.(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1372457).

And for some reason with this options disabled it do not build too maybe problem is in other settings but it really strange because before i copied tegra_n1_chn_defconfig and it did not ask me for schedule IO and cpu freq options but with this config it did i enabled them and maybe i did some thing wrong in any case this is not working config with above options disabled View attachment config_1.txt(but looks like they do not matters)

I'm pretty sure it's not de-odexed.
When you navigate to /system/app - u'll see a lot of .odex fies
