Hey there guys!
Is there a way to change the date format on the Home screen of the Diamond2? The Regional Settings of the OS do not apply to the Home screen of TF3D (i can only choose the YY-MM-DD format anyway...). On the Diamond you could change the date format on the Home screen using the Sushi's Diamond TF3D Config tool, and it worked like a charm. The app doesn't work on the Diamond2 tho. I would like to change the date format on the Home screen to DD.MM.YY as it is the normal date format in my country. Any help?
Cheers!
Use advanced onfiguration 3.3, you get an error but you can change your date format to different types.
Thanx a lot! It worked.
Happy to help, glad you sorted it mate.

where is the options under?
Open Advanced config, then menu, more settings then touchflo 3d.
I do this "Advanced config, then menu, more settings then touchflo 3d", I ignore the error, I put date "dddd dd/mm/yy" then ok, ignore other error, soft-reset and the date is as always: dd/mm/yy
What's the problem?
I have a Topaz and I've tried Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3 english and spanish versions, none works.
Sorry for my english!!!
Or you can simply go to Start>Settings>System>Regional Settings
Go to the "Date" tab and change it there. No need for 3rd party apps.

Thanks for your answer player911, but this doesn´t work for me, no changes in the home screen of TF3D. This is the reason to use 3rd part apps like "Advanced configuration tool 3.3" but none works. I don't know what to do.

On my homescreen I have the battery icon and I want it to show the clock instead. How do I change this? A registry tweak? I tried SKTools option but it did not work. I know you can choose to show the clock in all programs from the MORE option in Clock setting but I want to show it on the Today page.
Thanks so much!

What Device? WHAT OS? Look in WIKI under Registry tweaks
Sorry. I have Asus P525 with Windows Mobile 6 Beta 2. I looked in the wiki. Asus phones are not listed and looked at some basic reg tweaks to enable the clock only but the reg key is not in my registry and the hide battery key is not in my registry either. Any help appreciated.
Thanks!
i got an p3300 with mobile 6 and to do the trick i did this reg tweak.
advised by tom codon,so all credit to him.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell]
"ShowTitleBarClock"=dword:00000001
think it could just as well work on your device ;-)

Thanks. I tried LVM time. It works - sort of. Sometimes I get graphical glitches. Also cant change the font size even though I am given the option to.
The registry tweak works great so uninstalling LVM time.
Thanks so much!
Hi ppl. I want to get rid of all TF functionalities from TP,that means TodayPlugin,Scrolling,etc...which is a part of that rubbish. Could anyone point me,how to do that? I think that Hardreset without installation of that cab can be the way,but I don't know, where to find all other cabs shipped(as ExtROM). Next thing...if someone wants to make a test after hardreset to interrupt the cabs installation procedure to disable that,I want to know,if the home/back keys will lost also their default functions without installation...someone to try it(I don't want to hardreset just for test)? If these things will be successfully for me,I will do that. Thanks.
I think it's start menu, settings, then something to get to a menu where there's a check box next to TF3D, and uncheck it.
Thanks for your tip,but I am afraid, you misunderstood my question. I want to disable EVERYTHING,that is 'extended' by the TF,not only Homescreen. Especially touch scrolling(HTC's solution is very lazy,I want to use SPB PocketPlus) and home/back keys functions(I want to handle them with AEBPlus). Simply I want to have a kind of lite ROM without any TF functionalities.
goto Window\StartUp\ and remove the .exe for touchflo
n copy it to some other folder. finally softreset...
I have deleted all of them, those were there as default(AutoShortcut.lnk,HTCStartUp.lnk,PKG.lnk,poutlook.lnk and Services.lnk),but it doesn't help absolutely. I have in startup some shortcuts, but they are known things(Chronos,AEBPlus,GPRS Monitor,auto-SIP script). No TF shortcut is presented, even I see all files in system including hidden/system.

You should be able to disable touchflo scrolling using Schap's Advanced Config. I don't have a TP, but i know the settings are in Advanced Config. You might try there.
Did it already,no success...

A couple questions:
1) Are you using the most updated version...3.2 i believe?
2) Did you soft reset immediately after making the changes?
3) What features are still remaining, that you're trying to get rid of and which ones have you managed to remove?

3...as I wrote before...I want to disable finger scrolling and unbind the home/back keys from their default functions(I think/hope,they are related to TF)

I don't think the home/back keys are tied to touchflo, but you might be able to remap them using the key mapping in advanced config. I obviously don't know since i have a touch pro, but i know that some keys can be remapped using that program. Also i know that some of the updates in Advanced Config are related to changes that weren't sticking on the TP, so hopefully that's yoru problem.
Just to share: I tried all the above methods to disable Touchflo (finger scrolling) and it didn't work for me.
- unchecked scrolling in Settings -> Touchflo
- disabled touchflo scrolling using HTC Advanced Config
I got it working by doing the following:
Create a zero byte file and copy/overwrite the following files:
\Windows\Biotouch.exe
\Windows\Biotouch.dll
\Windows\StartUPBiotouch.exe
Now I am get my scribble pad (RemindMe / PhatPad) to work properly without the lag
Good luck!

I have tried a lot and never actually found a version that has HTC Menu Enhancement disable option. maybe i'm missing something
however, thank you very much Finally I got rid of that
One more question: can I somehow restore the timeout of click-and-hold so that menus pop faster? Because it used to be faster in earlier WM versions
Hello, I'm trying to get rid of larges menus on a french HTC Touch Pro (with regular HTC latest ROM), and this registry key do not even exist?
Someone got an idea about that?
Yep, try creating it
Thank you! I've been looking for how to switch the big fancy menu off for so long

I've tried, using Mobile Registry Editor, but it says that it's all read only.
Must I kill a process before? Or is there another regedit that works better?
use everywan remote pro it has a registry editor and even more.a must have fo wm users
HTC Alarm / Calender
Oh how I love the classic menu back... much quicker / easier to access / showing activated options - I'm sooo happy!!
But any idea how to get rid of the ALARM settings tab at:
Clock & Alarms > Alarm Settings > click on the pulldown arrow to set the time.
The window that opens is broken in my cooked rom. Can't set any time.
And also in the CALENDAR:
Calendar > Agenda or Day (View) > click on the date above...
This opening window is horrible to set a date...
Any idea is appreciated!! THX

P.S.: since I flashed a crooked rom and there is no uninstaller left to get rid of htc stuff... maybe there is another option ... ?? thanks!
Hey all,
I am currently using the energy rom with TF3D2..
I'm not to good at alterations to the phone and tweaks etc. but i am wondering.. on the home screen where the clock is.. the softkeys are LEFT: Contacts RIGHT: Comm Mgr.
Now my question is.. am i able to change the Comm Mgr. one (as i never use it) to say an action screen that i've installed? I have tried numerous things and they dont seem to work. On the original Touch Flo i knew how to do it but as i said, i cant figure out how to do it on the new one..
Any help would be much appreciated!

My bad. Thats a ROMeOS exclusive thing .
Sounds like you are using WM6.5.
The CHome homescreen takes over the softkey assignments the same way TouchFlo3D does. In order to change the Left and Right Softkey, you'll have to make the change manually in the registry or from a CHome Titanium Customizer.
The registry setting is easy if you know the link url to the file you want
Go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CClock\
Find the Strings "SK2TEXT" and "SK2URL". The SK2TEXT is the name the button will display, and the URL is the link.
If you're wondering, in the main CHome Key (folder) you'll find the SK1TEXT and SK1URL which is the Left SoftKey; although I would leave contacts up there.
he said hes using tf3d2. he didnt say he was using chome.
Thanks for that! I found it in the registry.. the only thing is.. how do i create a URL for the program that i want to run when i click that softkey?

HI
When one clicks the Start Menu/button in TF3D, a page with programs will open up instead of the WM start menu drop down.
My question is how does one assign one of the buttons to point to open a folder (eg Games Folder) instead of a program?
Thanks for reading and your help

Exactly what I was looking for. All is done manually but it didn't take so much time.
Thanks for your help.....
Will try it out....
Another thing - anyway to turn off the TF3D start menu and reactivate the standard WM dropdown start menu?
Thanks
I am not sure to understand exactly what you want.
If you want to unload tf3d please go in setup => personal => today => then in element unselect TouchFlo3D.
My Rom is in french so I am not sure about the translation. I attached some screenshot : it will be easier
he does not want to disable touchflo3d, when he goes to the touchflo3d startmenu he wants to assign one of the buttons there to open a map(out of the box you can only open programs in the start menu of touchflo3d))

It's easy
- Open your registry editor;
- HKLM - Software - HTC - EnlargeMenu - EnableManilaStartMenu (Change "1" to "0")
- Soft reset...
That's it No need to install any .cab or smthing...
Yes, it will be great if we can have both where Start menu still can be active w/ drop menu and the Windows key button still can be a short cut to program short cut menu.
Anyway to get both of this together since the Diamond2 tf3d menu does not have Program SHORT CUT menu but using the windows start function.
Is there any way to keep the WIndows button as the Program shortcut key & the WIndows Start menu as Drop-down menu.
If I change the value from 1 to 0, the program shortcut function under window button does not work anymore/
Pls help
