Hey guys,
I flashed to the 5.01H dream build, didn't like it, and tried a nandroid recovery back to the latest JFW.
Now I'm getting the hanging G1. I've tried wiping but it still hangs. My SD card no longer has update.zip, because I deleted it upon sucessful launch of the 5.01H. I don't have a microSD card reader and was wondering how I can mount the sd card to usb from the recovery console, which I can get to.
I'm tried searching around but can't find a clear answer, and my linux knowledge is basically nill.
Thanks for your help!
plug your phone in..
using fastboot type the following
1. fastboot erase system -w
2. fastboot erase boot
after this... use your nandroid images and do this:
1. fastboot flash system system.img
2. fastboot flash boot boot.img
3. fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
4. fastboot reboot
I feel like a total idiot. I just realized that I did not flash the boot and userdata images when I did my nandroid restore.
Thank you, you're a lifesaver!
P.S. The 3rd step actually was fastboot flash userdata data.img
glad that helped! yeah you are right....data.img..

just install the rc29 DREAMIMG.nbh in fastboot... then just update your phone with regular updates......
btw here is a link for the rc29
i tried .....
i made sure my dream was in fastboot
i than wrote in cmd
C:\Documents and Settings\*****>fastboot update DREAIMG.nbh
error: failed to load 'DREAIMG.nbh'
**
maybe the DREAIMG.nbh which is 89,419 kb is a bad file???
or i'm just doing something wrong
i think its working now ...
its updatting in progress now
yeay
sorry i didnt explain myself correctly.... download the DREAIMG.nbh... copy the file to your sdcard (make sure its formatted to fat32).... then boot your phone to the bootloader... (turn it off and turn it back on by pressing camera+power).... then install the file....
Make sure you rename it to DREAIMG.NBH

Hey,
first of all i KNOW there is a subject with nearly the exact same topic, and i followed the directions but somethng doesn't work.
I still have TWRP on the phone, and when im in bootloader mode and run "fastboot devices" i see the result.
but i can't seem to ADB push or anything else (maybe im missing some commands?)
so i used the NRT root kit and i use the "fastboot flash" function and install the .img file - the software says my device is identified and it installs the system.img file (found on the "image-hammerhead-mra58k" zip), but then the device boots to TWRP and still can't boot to the system itself.
help please!
Sideload a factory rom and u will be fine. U can do it in the advanced portion of TWRP, but u need a pc, or ur hit

Sounds to me like you're using adb commands in fastboot.
Boot into bootloader (not recovery)
Type fastboot devices
It should return showing your device
Then you need to make sure you have stock img's downloaded and completely extracted so you have all the img files in the folder you're running fastboot from (rename the radio to simply radio.img)
Then type
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash radio radio.img
Then boot back into recovery and wipe cache and dvalik for just in case fun
Then reboot system and wait

Following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-workaround-running-xposed-t3338765 I accidentally deleted from /sys app, framework and priv-app folders, the device stopped immediatly and I only could boot in recovery(TWRP). I go on following the thread but at the end I was stuck in bootloop. Following the suggestion of mfbcool and other users i tried to unbrick the device but nothing worked: when I tried to reboot from TWRP it said "No OS Installed". If i try to flash from TWRP it fail, doing the update, after flashing the stock recovery, with the three buttons combination it stops at 5%.
As mentioned above the device is a Honor 6 H60-L04 which mounted android M(the official beta version).
Ok now we try somthing difftrent
Did you ever did a backup via TWRP ? you can restore now?
Else...
Download ADB/FASTBOOT (attachment)
In this zip is also Huawei Update Extractor
Download B550 Firmware (e.g. https://mega.nz/#!DB4R3YjT!Fp3JDf1WwmiyNX7mYD_Rftu0BDtXnorNaggOqpRouZU )
Extract via Huawei Update Extractor recovery.img, boot.img and put them in ADB folder
Reboot your device in recovery
Wipe all (dalvik /art cache, cache, cust, system, data, boot, internal memory)
Connect your device with your computer
Open ADB and type "adb devices"
Is your device listed? If not, download the right driver
If yes, type "adb reboot bootloader"
"fastboot flash boot boot.img"
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
Now reboot your device into recovery.
If you see the orginal recovery put the update.app on your sd card in dload folder an reboot your phone with the three button methode.
Now the update should start. It will take about 5-10 min.

i've already tried to flash other version of recovery, but the only two version that work are TWRP for EMUI 4.0 and the Stock of B803
Download the ROM you were on before all this happened. It's compulsory you're downloading the ROM you were on to avoid any compatibility errors.
Make sure you have installed Huawei HiSuite.
Extract boot.img , system.img , cust.img and recovery.img from the ROM you downloaded using Huawei Update Extractor.
Move all the extracted .img to the Fastboot/ADB folder (folder where fastboot.exe or adb.exe is installed)
While your device is powered off, hold volume down button and plug your device to computer. Your device will boot to Fastboot Mode.
Enter the following commands one by one:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery.img
After all commands have been executed, unplug your device from computer and hold Volume Up button. Your device will boot to Huawei's eRecovery (2nd Recovery).
Shutdown your device via the eRecovery.
Now hold Volume Up and Power button. As soon as you see Honor logo, leave the power button but continue to hold Volume Up button. Your device will now boot to recovery.
Perform a Factory Reset via the recovery.
Now reboot your device.
Done!!!

Alright. That's the problem. You don't have the full ROM yet and the file you gave is an OTA zip. It's never gonna work.
But try my method again but this time with a Lollipop ROM EMUI 3.1 which you were having before Marshmallow.

i cannot boot in recovery. the device vibrates but then shows me the logo screen.
the only recovery which works is for emui 4.0...
it seems that i need or a backup of someone of the same firmware in TWRP or the full ROM of the B803 update...

Fine!
I would go back to LP and clear install MM. So you could be sure you have a new and clear ROM installed.
Ok! Thank you very much!

Is your bootloader unlocked?
my bootboader show "phone unlocked"
What are you typing?
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
Is your recovery.img in the ADB / FASTBOOT folder?
Hi, so I was messing with the recovery mode on my phone when trying to install a new rom and somehow ended up wiping the os. I actually managed to install the rom, but I don't know what possessed me to start tapping random buttons and that's how it got messed up. Now my phone is stuck in fastboot mode and I don't know how to get it back to normal. Any advice on how would be a great help, thanks in advance.

Fastboot flash recovery, then try using adb commands to boot into recovery and flash your ROM again. Or, try extracting the system.img from your ROM, place the system.img(rename the file to system.img if it is labeled by another name) in your fastboot folder on PC, open a terminal and flash the system.img via fastboot using the following command:
fastboot flash system system.img
