Can you guys can assist me in a little mission I have undertaken..?
I am trying to find out all of the TAC codes for HTC devices?

The TAC is the first 6 digits of the IMEI. This is unique to the model of the device.
Can everyone please post the first 6 digits of there IMEI so I can collate this information? There maybe a number of TACs per device.
Once I have all of this information I will add it all to the wiki.

unlocking a phone can be done by many ways but the best method and the safe way to unlock a phone is through codes. even in codes too there are many providers who offer you free services. but free codes are risky. they may go wrong while generating codes and when the number of attempts exceeds it may lead to hard reset your phone which is a double work for you. so its better to get codes from paid services like Mobile-Unlocker.com to unlock your phone.
I got my Dopod Touch Diamond yesterday as a gift, and was pretty happy, but the problem is that it is WM 6.1 Chinese. I have been doing some reading and installed Hard-SPL on it. I live in HK and downloaded a official rom (english) for Hong Kong for HTC Touch Diamond. I tried flashing it but it told me that it could not flash my device. I wanted to know if someone could give me some advice on how to install the official rom of another language? Any help would be much appreciated.

You can't flash it with an HTC Touch Diamond ROM.
But Dopod Touch Diamond = HTC Touch Diamond, cept bought in china. Doesn't the forum link also state that?

I am new at XDA-DEV and want to post the following problem:
My TyTn II is a Dutch Orange Branded PDA. I would like to update the WM 6 to a higher level but as Orange does not exist any more in Holland (bought by T-Mobile) and T-Mobile never sold the TyTn II there is no way I get any OS updates from them. Also HTC will not help me as the reffer back to Orange and to T-Mobile.
Can anyone give me som suggestions how to upgrade my OS or maybe even change over to Android on this Kaiser?
Would appreciate any help

There is a guide to hard-spl in sticky this will bypass carrier vendor check and allow flashing custom ROMs.
Then you can flash any Kaiser ROM and find the one that best suites your needs.
