I have a German version of WM6 and use the built-in contact to organize all my contacts. In some contacts there are notes written in Chinese (multi-bytes, I suppose). After synchronization with Outlook in my desktop, all notes became unreadable, I mean "??????".
I donot know if it happens when I synchronize my contact list with two desktops (work and home) or if it happens whenever I try to synchronize with one of them.
Is it able to specify which encoding should be used, e.g., UTF-8 in WM6 or Outlook in XP or Vista? Or do you have your own solution for it? If so, I would be very grateful if you can share it with me. Many thanks.
So you know when you're entering in contact names in email/sms messages in WM6 Pro and names popup as you're typing? Is there any app to enable that sort of functionality in WM6 Standard?
wm6.1 standard adds that feature... I just upgraded my Blackjack to TX Caeser's WM6.1 Standard beta 3 and that feature is now present.

Just switch to a great 6.5 rom from Shep for my Raphael.
Im liking 6.5 but one thing im missing, i hope someone can help...
In 6.1 pocket Outlook calendar (default one) i could start a new appointment while typing. EG i tapped 12:00 and started typing; this would open the "new appointment" dialog. In 6.5 this feature is gone... ( at least i cant find it).
I really want to use this ability. Anyone know if and how to enable this in 6.5 ?

I love my Touch Diamond 2 for what it does as a PDA but lately i've been thinking wouldnt it be cool to have the number of someone you are meeting or address. You can only do this in 6.5 if the contact has an email address and when you add that contact you end up emailing them pocket informant is supposed to have this feature so has agenda one. but the problem is when you click on manilla calendar you go straight to 6.5 calendar even when you change the settings.
Sorry for the long message. All id like is a someway to add contact details to appointments in 6.5 if not maybe a way of making agenda one the default app for manilla calendar.

It would be awesome if there was some function to zoom out to show 100% of the emails width (like the way opera 10 handles websites! )
