Enter PIN on flightmode off - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hi,
I recently switched from a HTC Hermes (running Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro) to a HTC Touch Pro (aka Raphael) with Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro.
OK, so for so good. But I had to realize, that whenver I switch off flightmode I have to re-enter my PIN in order to use the phone this sucks, because the flightmode is being activated/deactivated by my bluetooth-set of my car.
Is there a way to avoid having to enter the PIN? I didn't behaive like that on the Hermes - maybe it's a WM 6.1 thing ...

You can use phone alarm from www.pocketmax.net there is option to input pin automatically

Is that the only option? Is there no way to turn this behavior off - like in the registry or something? This kinda sucks!

My Hermes had that behavior too. I didn't use a BT headset, but after disabling flightmode in comm manager, I had to enter the PIN.
But why would the BT carkit enable flightmode? Phone and BT are switched off then.

well, dunno if really enables flightmode - but at least it's quite similar. Obviously BT is not being disabled, the phone is actually being disabled, because my car's phone is taking over and is just accessing my phone-book using SIM Access Profiles.

Bluetooth passkey not supported

Hi all,
I'm working on a very special project 8) . I'm trying to send my XDA II screen to a bluetooth headup display.
This bluetooth device does not support BT security features like authentication or encryption. There is no default PIN code.
It works fine with my old Ipaq which can make a connection with the device without soliciting a PIN but my XDA II still ask me for a PIN code ... :?
Is it possible with Windows Mobile 2003 to use a bluetooth device without using a PIN code ?
Thanks in advance !
Johann
I think it needs the pin to bond, at the moment the xda2 is brain damaged in the bluetooth department, hopefully an upgrade will appear soon that will address the issues. Have you tried 4 zeros when prompted for pin?
Is this problem specific to Xda II ?
I believe it may be, the fact that it works with the ipaq which uses the Widdcom bt stack and the xda2 uses the Microsoft stack which supports very little would indicate it is.

Will the universal rom work for me?

i have a Qtek 9000 but still what to use some of my programs from my WM5
does this work?
Exchange Mail support
TOMTOM
TOMTOM Bluetooth GPS
Bluetooth
and Sync with Outlook from XP or Vista
if any can confirm this works with WM6 than i´ll go for it
i never use Video calls so that does´t matter.
Can any recommend a ROM for me?
Yep they all work.
Except if you are going to use Direct Push mail with Exchange, with a constantly active connection, you will probably have issues with your data connection hanging. The only way to resolve it is to enable/disable the radio (sometimes works) or soft reset.
To stop it happening in the first place, selecting GSM only (ie not 3G) in the Radio options does the job..

Bluetooth Dailup?

Hello,
Im a new owner of a HTC S710, i like the phone and i previously owned a Orange SPC C600. And im a proud owner of an Dell Axim X51v.
In the past i could go discover with my Dell Axim the bluetooth devices and see the c600 and see its bluetooth dailup service. i used that to automatically make connection with the phone and dail up when i the axim needed a connection.
But now with the S710 it only finds an accesspoint to witch it won't connect. and i really want the dailup back so it automatically connects.
How can that be done?
Greetings, Marcus

You will want to install the Widcomm BT stack on your Axim. It supports BT PAN client mode.
Also see my related articles - I've published a LOT of articles on this problem.
Hello,
I have the widcomm stack on my axim, and it worked fine with my C600 but now with the S710 the service just is not there? There is no option for a bluetooth dailup when clicking on cennect to a phone for internet.

Use BT PAN and read http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1415&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 for the why's.
HI!
I had a Blue Angel, I used to conect to my other phone(CDMA) via bluetooth for dialup net access(I get free Mb per month there plus its faster(EVDO). My Vox does not see the dial up service on my other phone. Is there anyway to make it find the dial up service?

HTC Touch Pro Remote Sim Access Profile (rSAP) + Data Connections

I have been trying to use my Touch Pro with my Audi bluetooth kit which supports sim access profile (rSAP).
From reading other threads there seems to be a flaw in Windows Mobile 6.1, or HTC's implementation of it, as it does not work reliably with data connections enabled (would seem to be the main reason why you would have a Touch Pro!)
To make this work reliably you have to disable data connections in Comms Manager before the phone connects to the car.
Is there any way (or any other bluetooth stacks that exist) to automatically disable data connections when an RSAP device connects to the phone and then re-enables them when it disconnects?
I am using the latest official HTC rom 5.05.405.1 and the latest blackstone radio 1.14.25.24
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
I had problems using the Touch Pro in my Skoda as well (should be the same hardware, since it belongs to Volkswages as well). I found out, the problem came from the way the car tries to sync the contacts. Try to connect your phone and change the settings to sync only SIM contacts. This did the trick for me, I never disabled data connections on my Touch Pro. Hope it helps

Problem with Sonos Roam? Can't wake it up from sleepmode

Hi, everyone!
I bought a Sonos Roam. Normally, you should be able to get the Sonos Roam out of standby mode by opening the app. I can also do this on a laptop, on a Samsung smartphone - but I can't do it on the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro. Bluetooth AND GPS must be switched on in parallel for it to work. Although only WLAN should be required for this (as on Laptop & Samsung Smartphone). Are there any settings that I don't know that cut the WLAN and are canceled when Bluetooth / GPS is activated ???
I tried every setting i could find and cant get it to work...
Many Thanks
