[Abandoned] Rogers Rom Repository (A Collection of Outdated Rogers/32A Ports) - myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development

I'm abandoning this thread, since there are now too many ports to keep track of, so don't expect any updates. Just make sure that any rom you flash on your phone is 32A compatible. These roms all have modified boot.img, wlan.ko, apnconfig.xml, and possibly some other tweaks to sweeten the pot.
Rogers Original Wiped Rom
This is the stock Rogers rom in Nandroid format, unrooted. Use this if you really fowl something up and need to restore to the phones base (read: unrooted) settings. Note that this is a Nandroid backup, so restore it as such.

great work sir. and thank you for all!

Thanks! This is much appreciated.

I think it might be worthwile to add in your list the ROM's modded by redglass. I've found them to work much better on my phone (32A Australia) as compared to the mod found on the Fatal1ty thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531837

I tried loading the stock rogers rom last night, didnt seem to work, told me it was unsigned, or do i need to push each one of the files individually.
And also when trying to load the HOfo community rom downloaded from both of the links posted here it told me that one of the files was corrupted. can't think of the file off the top of my head, sorry.
EDIT: sorry i dont have the engineering spl

thanks.
this was much needed.

Thanks for this, used your guide and moded ROM on the weekend it's great. Now the wife wants it on hers as well.

Thanks for this thread.
Could I flash any of these ROMS with just my rooted device or do I need to flash an SPL or something first?
Edit: nevermind, noticed the hofo link at the bottom of your post...

Thank you Skittles
Skittles,
This is awesome. Thanks for taking the time to dedicate a post to us Rogers users. I totally appreciate all the work you have put in and all those who you have worked in concert with to arrange these wonderful opportunities for us to play!!!
I look forward to seeing if any of the users here report happy findings!

SKITTLES Quick Question
By the way Skittles,
Do we HAVE to flash the SPL in order to use other roms? I heard SPL/Radio switching is the big danger. Can I install the hero rom just without flashing the SPL?

I believe you should be able to flash this to a Rogers Magic without changing your SPL, but changing your SPL makes it possible to make and restore Nandroid backups (which helps like crazy) so I would still recommend it.

I have made a nandroid backup already using the daldroid-recovery.img and the fastboot process. As far as I know I did this stuff without making any changes to my device. A raw backup through fastboot.
However, would I be unable to flash back the boot.img, recovery.img, and system.img using this same daldroid-recovery.img fastboot process?
What is the difference between what I am describing and actually changing or flashing the SPL version.
I just want to do this safely and be able to restore to factory (or stock) version of phone for warranty purposes.
Thanks skittles,
You rock,
Adam

You technically could by using the Amon_RA's new recovery (it has the option for Nandroid restore). I have yet to try it with the stock SPL, but you probably could.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530492
Typically, restoring a rom backup is done through fastboot, which is why you need an engineering SPL which won't signature check.

Well I would prefer to stick to things the way you have done them already. I appreciate you trying everything first, of course.
So Do you recommend I just go with your guides. They are entirely reversible down to the bootloader?

No-root backup possible?

I'd like to back up my ROM (and/or data) before playing around with my Rogers HTC Magic. AFAIK, the Rogers Magic still cannot be rooted (yet). My question is, can I still do a backup?
pls help.....i wanna back up my rogers htc magic ROM too
maybe I am confused, but I did not think there was any difference between GSM Magic's. there are some myths, but they seem to be rubbish.
in any event, I would also like to do a rom backup without rooting first

There are different radio versions. It is a known fact that for example the Rogers Dream and Magic cannot be rooted yet. Something like a different offset in memory where the ROM (or radio?) start.

Parrot5 is right. HTC changed som internals on latest Magic phones. If you own a PVT 32A phone with SPL .0008 or .0009, you could give a try to daldroid-recovery.img from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523680
You should be able to FASTBOOT the image and make a nandroid backup from the modified image running from your phone's RAM (no need to flash it).
BUT BEWARE, nandroid is not able to do a full raw image dump of your original rom, so there is no known way (I'm aware of) to backup your SPL and radio rom.
Furthermore version .0009 SPL doesn't allow to use "fastboot flash" (it checks digital signature of rom files) to reflash your backup files, so don't count on the how-to which tells you to do so. That's for modded SPL from haykuro.
Someone reported they were able to flash the modded SPL to unlock the flash from fastboot feature (the modded spl doesn't check for signed images) but no dumped image for your original SPL is available so you will not be able to restore it.
I didn't flash modded SPL so search the forum for info about that (please pay attention to check for confirmation by users with your same phone, hw, spl and radio rom)
Always check if the rom you wanna flash is compatible with your phone, I confirm HTC made some changes and the git sources for Android do not reflect latest Sapphire board implementation.
Hope this helps,
Daldroid

UK Vodafone Magic Root & Rom summary/help.

OK just spent a significant amount of time reading your forums and im nearly there just wanted some clarification on rooting and choice of roms for a UK Vodafone Magic as there doesnt seem to be one collection of advice for UK voda's. Here's how I think it goes please correct me!!
1. Root using haykuro’s method and files in the wiki. (Did read a post about uk voda users then having to flash a rom because reboot didnt work fully.)
2. Update the SPL according to the same wiki article. This is where its hazy!!! I am now left with a rooted magic with stock rom, (ie uk voda in my case.) an updated spl, allowing me to now do a full nandroid backup of stock rom or only a backup of installed apps only???? See where im getting confused??
If I then choose to not flash a rom to my Magic I am now running my stock rom (or a haykuro rom.) but with the added bonus of it being rooted, which in-turn allows me to run those useful apps available in the store, bluex, setCPU etc???????
God am I going mad!!

You and me both I'm in exactly the same situation as you, with the same decisions to make and same questions. I personally wouldn't mind installing a stock ION rom (or maybe the Japanese version since I speak English/Japanese) but essentially would like to know what you would like to know! Before I change my SPL though, I'd like to know if I can back it up.

I haven't rooted mine yet either.
As a vetran of WMO I am a bit confused, but basically I think you can't root and keep your original Vodafone rom.
To do this, someone would have had to have produced a rooted version of this rom and no one has.
you can install the latest generic ion rom rooted.
if you want to go back to vodafone you'll have to find the rom.
The other annoying thing is that you can't do a rom backup without rooting it .... duh!
if I am wrong, someone please correct me!!
As i feared!! so the rom for rooting your magic also replaces the system with the haykuro ion rom. So as yet there is now way of keeping/backing up the original voda uk magic rom. (To revert back to at a later stage or if you f**k it up!!)
So this now leaves us uk voda magic users with the question which rom to go for which has the same functions as the uk voda rom. Ive read about the main ones ion r3 lite, nk02s htc beta 3, the rodgers and most recently the hero rom. Sounds like the community is really geting going!!
I am looking for :
1. wifi
2. bluetooth
3. 3G
4. Google sync
5. camera (as ive heard some roms dont support it.)
6. market (once again some roms with problems.)
7. superuser (obviously.)
8. Location
9. Voice is a bonus but not essential as uk voda does not have it
OK so i want it all lol, So far the Ion r3-lite looks the most suited but i cannot confirm the camera works so come on you clever ppl help us uk voda's out!!
Thx

but it appears you need to root before nandroid
and to successfully root, you need to install ion, otherwise it won't boot
isn't this catch 22 ?
Thanks Brian im probably going to give it a go tomorrow and go with the ion r3 lite rom to start!!
But once again to clarify you just pointed me to a link showing howto back up the rom by using the updated spl and nandroid backup function, to do this your magic must already be rooted and as you stated earlier by rooting the magic you will therefore replaced the vodafone rom with the ion rom. So a backup at this stage would be of the ion rom and not the stock vodafone rom. Am I correct???
If I get stuck i will be sure to take you up on your offer or further help. Thx

OK colonel so you have a success you followed the guide at " http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=Magic_Rooting "

So you now have a rooted uk voda magic running on the original rom?? As well as a backup of the original rom, meaning that you can now flash custom roms to your hearts content with the reassurance of being able to flash back to the original voda rom if you should wish.

indeed - exactly as you say
I had no issue with the rebooting problem mentioned elsewhere
although I don't intend on running a custom rom yet.
I did it purely to get root access, inititially to follow superxnova's excellent guide to get other language fonts (I wanted hebrew):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=480964
** Make sure you select the option to make a backup after the command typed in step 11 **
One other thing I would say, the instructions are precise until step 14&15
instead of doing step 14 & 15 I went into fastboot mode by - step 10 (then back button), typed the command in step 11,then pressed update. After update i selected reboot.
not sure if that made any difference as "home + power" does the same thing
3g Gone
Hi - i've managed to root today and to install the new some new roms - thanks to all of the wonderful advice here. One thing I have noticed is that I lose my 3g capability with any rom apart from my original vodafone rom. I'm not too bothered as I can restore from a nandroid backup. Would be nice to be able to use the SuperHero v2 build i've currently got working (apart from the 3g).
Thx.

you probably need to refresh the apn
do some searching to find out how
I have to say, i am not in a rush to change the vodafone rom
its pretty fast and unbranded.
When I had a winmo I was keen to get a new rom for speed and newer builds/features, but don't really feel the need now
perhaps i will later!

questions before i flash my rogers magic...

Hello everyone, i just received my unlocked rogers magic today! looks beautiful and I cant wait to get it flashed to hero rom so i can get customizing. I am quite nervous regarding the steps, as they seem different and your inda required to take bits and pieces here and there to get thru the process for your specific phone. These are the specs from my phone :
PVT 32A SHIP S -on H
HBOOT - 1.33.00009(SAPP50000)
CPID - 12
Radio - 3.22.20.17
Do i need to follow the root steps in the magic wiki? or can I just install the full hero rom and expect it to work properly? I would like the little android guy startup animation from the hero as well, not sure if thats included in the fatality rogers magic rom. If i have to follow the steps for root first, then i would download Haykuro's Magic "rootme" rom, but not the magic modified recovery rom on the same page, because i have another .img file i downloded earlier in wiki which is supposebly for 32A boards, its called daldroid-recovery. if I have those files right, then i think i can do the rooting process. at the end of the driod wiki, it says to get the hacked spl for nandroid backups etc download haykuro's SPL update, is that something I need to/should be doing now as well?
Thanks for being patient with me. I appreciate any help much
Do not use Haykuro's ROM for 32A phones. Daldroid's and Amon_RA's recovery are both ok for the phone but I prefer Amon's.
Haven't tried any of the Hero ROMs as I need BT so can't comment on that.
Going to go ahead and quote my own post.I swear there's a search function around here somewhere
Hereis the guide I used and would suggest you try out if your getting a Rogers Magic.
Once you have it Rooted you can flash any ROM that is for a 32a board(288mb RAM)
Here the Roms that are moded to work for the Rogers Magic.

my 2 cent information on this matter.
I would take a look at "Ultimate Guide to Hacking your Sapphire Handset" http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Sapphire_Hacking - which also is in a sticky post.
It goes thru most issues.
Note, SPL flashing is the dangerous part and is not nessary needed. I have flashed several firmwares (also the wrong ones - 32B/32a, just reflash to fix) and i have not flashed SPL. SPL flashing as i understand it, is needed when flashing an unsigned firmware or parts of it - like a nandroid restore.
The root access. You get it by using the Android SDK and fastboot/adb, and it allows you to do the flash (and write files to your phone). After that most firmware has root access allowed build into the firmware so i can be granted dynamically.

None at all, unless you can't live without bluetooth. It works for listening to music with BT headphones but not with handsfree systems. I use it anyway, I tried other ROMS but the Sense UI is what I like. Some say there is lag but I don't find it lags any more than the stock ROM.

Thanks Clinton, If i have time today at work im gonna try following your steps. So far ive just gotten the adb connection setup between my phone and mini.
Great post, I have many of these same questions. My Roger's Magic is out for delivery right now and I sure can't wait to get it up and running with my AT&T 3g service.
I've tried both JAC's 32a Hero and Fatality's, and personaly I had serious speed issues with Fatality's.
JAC's ran a lot faster on my phone, Nordic HTC Magic.

Really it was the opposite for me JAC's ROM did the force close on me often and would hang when opening Message app and Mail. Browser was pretty fast but not a huge difference between the 2. Fatal1ty's ROM was very smooth and fast, my wife said the same no lag at all she kept it on her Magic as well. Maybe you had a bad flash or didn't do a data wipe?? Is your phone a Rogers Magic? Weird.
Clinton
i thought with all that extra ram on the rogers' magic, the same amount that came on the hero, that there wouldnt be any sort of lag with sense UI and that it should be the same in perfomance as the real hero.

Unfortunately, the real Hero has quite alot of lag. From what I have used, the compcache'd ROM's for the G1 and 32B are alot faster than the actual Hero itself.
I got my Rogers magic in, unlocked on at&t. The first thing I did was rooted and stuck this Fatality rom on there. All i get it crashes in multiple menus .
I'm about to try the JAC one and see if it's any better. I don't care about the sense UI but need a non crashing rom + multitouch. Any ideas?

it probably needs a lot of optimizing for it run smooth then haha which is kinda unfortunate they didn't optimize before releasing the real hero.
I agree, i used hero rom on the G1, fully optimized and it was running pretty good with compcache. now, if we optimized and compcache it to run on the magic with the 288mb of ram, i'm sure it'll be really smooth! i hope i get my roger's magic soon, cant wait.

Are you sure you flashed it right, I think I've had maybe 2 crashes in the whole time I've had this ROM on my Magic. Please read through the Guide I linked to and fallow it the letter. Then download a copy of the ROM from the second link and do a full wipe before installing the new ROM.
Clinton
I've been using the 1.2 version of Fatality's ROM ever since he made it. It's worked so well I haven't even bothered to try out 1.3 or 1.4.
I find most of the lag with Sense has to do with all the background updating that the new widgets do (stock updates, contact FB syncing, etc..). Once those are minimized it's really zippy.
Personally, I love the connectivity of the UI. Everything just works so well together, it's so tight. I'm looking to get my car hooked up with BT, so we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Awesome, totally awesome.....as far as A boards go, ClintonH, your link should be the sticky for everything. I followed it exactly, with my rogers magic, and it just worked. I was nervous at first, but each step worked as it said it should. i now am running fatality's magic rom and its amazing. I love the sense ui, and i cant tell any more lag than with the rogers rom. A+++ the wiki might be a tad confusing, but if you use the files specified in clintons link, youll have no issues!

I thought that too, but I installed it twice and both times I got tons of crashes. The third rom I installed is the Jachero optimized rom and I haven't had one single crash yet.

[EBI1][ALL PORTS][DREAM][MT3G][REG DEVS TOO] Come here for all EBI1 info

It would be great if a mod could please sticky this so that we do not continue to get random threads and confusion.
I have decided to make this thread because there are a LOT of EBI1 users out of the loop, i my self just a few weeks ago (after 3 months) learned that EBI1 users can use more than just cyano.
Ok, with the recent rogers mandatory update the EBI1 community has grown quite a bit.
You may be wondering what is EBI1?
well, it is the radio version 3.22.26.17, this radio is on the rogers dream and on sapphire/mt3g/magic phones as well.
On the dream it is known as EBI1/32b on the magic it is EBI1/32a
You can check to see if you have the EBI1 radio buy booting into fastboot mode(hold camera when booting) and look where it shown radio. If it says 3.22.26.17 on the screen anywhere, you are EBI1.
If your phone falls under the EBI1 category you have a few options
1) you can go to www.briancrook.ca and use any EBI1 kernel ports from his website. He is the guru of EBI1 ports and will have the most trustworthy of ports.
2) You can visit the sapphire dev forum (on xda (just below the dream/g1 forum)) Here you can download any kernels ports that are listed as 32a or old radio. The old radio/32a sapphire has the same EBI1 radio as the rogers dream!
3) OR most importantly, you can make your OWN ports using this simple tool:
http://faruq.yandao.com/magicport/
We can credit arctu for this amazing tool!
-just extract the rom you want to use
-in the extracted folder you will see a boot.img
-in the program browse and select the boot.img
-choose your settings (minimal is optimal)
-It will create you a EBI1 kernel!
there is a discussion of this tool in the sapphire dev forum.
you may now be asking, what do I do with the port file?
Well, once you get your kernel port,
-You go into recovery (preferably amon because you can flash multiple zip files)
-Flash the desired ROM
-Flash your Kernel Port
-You're done!
We must also be careful when it comes to recovery images
Your recovery is an amazing tool and can save your phone from disaster. Remember: always make a nandroid (or nandorid +ext3) backup before flashing a new ROM!!!!
My personal favourite recovery is Amon's, it is great because it has all the features you could ever want, plus it is great for EBI1 users because you can easily flash multiple zip files without rebooting (which is what you do when flashing ROMs on an EBI1 phone)
You must be careful what recovery you install
EBI0 recoveries are not compatible with the EBI1 radios, you can BRICK your phone, when installing a recovery make sure you install the EBI1 version
With Amon's recovery the EBI1 version is the "R" version. A direct download to the recovery is here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/32033517...am-v1.5.2R.img
I would highly suggest visiting his thread for instructions on use and installation:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=566669
G1 devs please listen up:
Inorder to run your ROMS on EBI1 phones we need to make a kernal to flash over the ROM. This means that your existing kernel will be replaced, this is always a negative for us as your kernels create large improvements.
One method you can use to help reduce the gap between you regular rom and an ebi1 version is to:
1) Optimize your ROM to run at its best without any special kernal adjustments
***2) If your ROM utilizes the 10MB ram hack, please also release a non ram hack version.
The reasoning behind this is that the ROM is ment for the ram hack so 3d and hq doesn't work properly on the ROM, when we flash our EBI1 kernel over the ROM, the ram hack is gone. The result is a ROM which has the set backs of the 10MB hack (no 3d, no HQ) AND it DOES NOT get the positves if the hack (we do not get the extra 10MB)
3) Create your own EBI1 ports
thanks to ottawanate:
minimum requirements for porting a ROM to EBI1 are
1) wlan.ko patch or wifi wont work
2) boot.img with Kernel config file marked for CONFIG_MSM_AMSS_SUPPORT_256MB_EBI1=y
Please consider the now vastly larger EBI1 community when making your ROMS, thank you!
Here is a list of Devs who the EBI1 community applauds for making showcasing their EBI1 compatibility friendliness:
King Klick
enomther
If you are a dev and would like to be added to the list please post here and let me know or PM me. (with a link preferably to the page with your ROM/Kernel)
What is EBI1
EBI1 is actually a term derived from the kernel config file. When the line 'CONFIG_MSM_AMSS_SUPPORT_256MB_EBI1=y' is set, the kernel supports 32A Magics and the 3.x series radio.
The kernel itself sits in your boot partition. Typically you flash a boot.img file to your phone to install the kernel. The kernel boots up your system after the boot launcher.
So I prefer to call the 3.x series radio the EBI1 kernel radio, since EBI1 refers to support for 32A Magics as well.
Any 3 series radio needs the EBI1 kernel. So that would include 3.22.20.17. There's another one floating around and installed stock on some 32B Magics (notably from Europe).
If you have the source code of the rom you want to flash, you can build your own kernels by following the instructions here:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/How_to_build_a_kernel_port
What to pay attention to if I have a 3.x series radio and need the EBI1 kernel
Well first of all you need a ROM with the EBI1 kernel. First of all, the kernel itself is located in your 'boot' partition. Hence you need to be careful when flashing any update.zip files from recovery, because they may overwrite your EBI1 kernel, if it contains a boot.img. To make sure, just open the zip file to view its contents before you flash it. For example, the RAM hack requires a different kernel than the original, and application of it necessitates that you flash a new boot.img. However all the boot.img RAM HACK kernels are being provided without EBI1 support.
In addition to the kernel itself, the wireless drivers need to be recompiled to make it work with the different kernel. This file is wlan.ko. If you do not have a compatible version installed, your wireless lan will not function, which can cause your phone not to boot properly into the system, as it would freeze trying to startup your wireless lan.
The kernel goes hand in hand with your system rom to make your phone work. So if you update your system rom, you typically have to update your kernel as well.
It would be also useful to note that having the 3.x series radio requires you to have a different recovery image than if you didn't have the radio.
What happens if I install the wrong one?
Installing the wrong kernel is not destructive to your phone. If you have the wrong kernel installed, your phone will freeze after the first boot screen (non-animated). Don't worry about installing the wrong kernel.
What if I want to change to the 3.x series radio from the 2.x series radio or vice versa?
Changing to the 3.x series radio does have advantages for certain people. However, changing the radio is can brick your phone if you do not have the correct recovery flashed before changing your radio. There should be ample information on xda to help you with this process.
Other Stuff
The current active roms with EBI1 ports that I know of that work on my Rogers Dream:
Super D
Cyanogenmod
OpenEclair
Question to the OP: Does the WesGarner EB1 kernel include the 32b/dream RAM Hack?
very nice addition, to the post!
I have not personally tried a wes ROM before but i am going to assume that it does not, if anyone knows please telll us!

how is that ROM in terms of 1)speed 2)stability when compared to the eclair ROMS?
also, what exactly do you mean you used the no ram hack kernal, did u flash ROM, flash the no ram hack kernal, then flash the ebi1 kernal you made? if so, i think that would just over right the no ram hack kernal.
Or does the kernal GIVE it ram hack? thus the ROM itself doesnt have the hack built in?
on a side note:
I want to run a hero ROM but I think they are 1.5 based so I cannot use the tool on them. If anyone has any info on getting a Hero ROM working on EBI1 plz let us know.

yeah, you are going to need the danger SPL, you can follow that guide right there to get it. 1) Do you have root? if so all you need to do is skip to the part about flashing the spl zip file. if you have root i am going to assume to can get into recovery, 2) make sure you have amon's recovery (it makes things so much easier because with ebi1 you need to flash multiple zip files to get up and going at once.

For what its worth
I use a HTC Dream from Roger's on AT&T here in the US.
At first I used the tmobile radio 2.xxxx.
Then I read that there are higher speeds with the Rogers Radio (3.xxxx) while on EDGE.
I have done side by side tests, and at least for me, there was not a considerable speed change between EDGE speeds on either radio.
So for now, Im back to the tmobile radio.
does this mean all the lousy 32a users can use supported ROMs NOW?/ lol I dont want them all over here now, they are all snotty about G1 users being over in the Sapphire Section
Hi everybody
I just have a Dream Rogers, I have root and installed 4.2.14.1 Cyanogen. My radio is 3.22.26.17 and the SPL is Haykuro 1.33.2005 . Now I want to try the other rom requires 2.xx radio and a different SPL, I can change them or not ?
Please help me because I want to try the other 2.0 2.1 roms but not more experienced, I'm afraid to brick my phone.
Thanks so much.

2) I don't know how to get amons recovery.
ok, so if yo have root u probably have a recovery image (cyanogen) you want to get amons,
go here:

download the R version, i would probably use the via terminal instructions as i think they are the easiest!

when it says you need 2.xx radio, it is usually false, what it should say is that you need the latest radio (ebi1 works)
you dont need to change anything to work a 2.1 ROM, just follow the instructions in the original post, if you do not yet have amon's recovery, follow the post above this.
p.s. I dont think you can change the radio now that you have flashed your SPL, it will BRICK yor phone.

well, the only reason they focus in the sapphire section is because nobody took charge and made a EBI1 thread in the g1 section, we could always use "supported roms" we just needed kernels.

Latest Recovery and flash process for G1

Hi Guys,
Thanks for taking the time to read over this, i'll apologise in advance if this is in the wrong section. If it is just NUKE
I have a G1 with the old Cyanogenmod v1.4 + JF Recovery and Cyanogenmod 4.2.15.1 Image.
Can anyone tell me if this is the farthest i'll be able to take my handset with regards to flashing or would i now need to upgrade the handset?
Ideally i'd be looking for the best recovery to use and image to flash if its now possible to put android 2.1 on.
If its possible to flash, can you give me your thoughts on the best recovery, and image files etc to use. Sorry i've not been on for several months so a little behind!
Thanks Very Much!
1.7.0 Recovery from Amon and Cyanogen 5.0.8 are what you are looking for.
I have the Amon-Ra Recovery img, DangerSPL, CM 5.0 img and gapps file also. Just currently reading up on the best way to attack this so i dont brick it!... lol
id switch recovery first using terminal in current rom.. then flash danger from recovery...reboot..then wipe and flash rom.
or u can justd/l the stock .nbh file and start off fresh from scratch and follow the cyanogen wiki
Superb!
Being on Tmo UK, which radio would you suggest Radio 2.22.19.26I
Radio 2.22.23.02 (G1) ? I'm assuming the 2.22.23.02 is for non US AND/OR non Tmo correct?? So i'm assuming the 26I file is the best for me...
Cheers
not sure if that would work or not. but u could flash and try it and if u get no reception or something u can always flash back to the other radio.
and for roms i usually switch btween cyanogen and htclay...his roms are basically cyanogens wit a few fixes...more speed..etc.
Thanks Mikey,
Looks like i can flash the radio with either tbh, if there are reception issues after doing the radio update i'll bounce back in and change it over before going down the route to the CM 5 upgrade!
Thanks for your help mate
Daz
