Hi
Has anyone succeded in making tethering over Wifi or Bluetooth working on any of the Hero ROMs (like http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/). As far as I can tell all the ROMs lack support for iptables / netfilter... Or maybe I am wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all,
Probably a n00b question but is it possible to just patch the wifi part on a 2.x rom? I just need wpa2 support.
I got too many problems running any 3.x rom, calls not getting through, loosing several configs after a soft reset etc etc...
Anyone?
Thx,
Frank
I'm also interested by this possibility .

avoid hero roms and your bluetooth will be fine.
Does Bluetooth work on myTouch on hero roms? If so, can you recommend a good rom for bluetooth in hero.
Hi guys. Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong secction. I saw that Acer Iconia guys can use 3g dongles via some mods. Here's the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14603952
Just wondering if any of the talented devs around here can make this too on the Xoom?
Thanks!
This looks cool. I have a Huawei dongle... have you tried this procedure?
This is interesting, sadly i don't have root to test it, but this could be reason to root...
ok I've tried but it doesn't work seems to be related with option.ko and usb_wwan.ko not compiled for kernel version 2.6.36.4 but 2.6.36.3
do you know if any devs are looking in to this?
Somebody knows , when someone will compile this module to current kernel version of XOOM???
I'm runing ICS 4 rom data 05-02-2012. But doesn't create connect wifi adhoc tethering with nokia' phone.
With Stock rom and CM7, I used ZT-180 Adhoc Switcher and WifiAdhoc Enabler very good.
Can anyone help me, please!
This has been brought up in the ICS thread on the developer forum. It seems to be a known issue and they are working on trying to get it working, at least as far as I understand it.

Oh! Right now, was it work? I don't see any topic.
Hey guys, I've got a TF300TG, and I've installed CM 10.1 nightlies, and PA 3.10\15, none of them have working wifi for the TG. Is there any difference between the wifi on T vs. TG? And how can I get it to work? It worked on "PA 2.99+", but there I got no sound instead.
Anyone got any ideas? Would be much appreciated.
Regards, JayBeee

Same with TL version. To hell with 3g/4g support, wifi isn't working for me as well ;/
So please Devs (especially cm10.1) can U integrate TG/TL wifi drivers into the kernel. Or at least point us how to do it
I guess nobody's very eager to answer, then?

cm10 devels have said more than once that they dont own a tg/tl model so they wont support it as they cant work "blind" without testing what they are doing.
