Some help regarding an MDA T-Mobile phone

I would like 2 now if there is anyone who can help me with an MDA T-Mobile i bought from Holland, i would like to put windows mobile on it becouse it's in Dutch the curent version(+ i want a newer version) and i have no real clue on how 2 do that, what programs i need, witch ones are better suited for my model and where EXACTLY to get them, i will anctiously wait for a reply or PM, thank'u in advance ^__^

Welcome to the forum
Please read here in order to learn the process of flashing a ROM, then enter to your device section and coose the ROM that fits your needs
You can find wm5, 6, 6.1 and even 6.5

I am new here, and this is my first post to this forum, but I am pretty sure that it won't be last.
First I would like to thanks everyone in this forum, specially those who are keep thigs going on, so big thanks.
This forum is giving a lot of information, what is impossible to find anywhere else.
So let's move to my question.
I have Xperia X1, and I also noticed, that it won't get official update to Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM, which is really, really bad.
There is a lot unofficial Cooked 6.5 ROMs here in XDA-Developers-forum, and most of them is looking really good and interesting choice to my X1.
So, how I can be sure, that Cooked ROMs aren't include anything bad, I mean virus, spyware, malware or something like that?

you can never be sure anything you find on the Internet don't include such things
but virus, spy/malware don't port stuff made for pc's don't work on pocketpc's
and the market for windows mobile is too tiny for them to bother making it
there are but a hand full of such things made to run on pda and those are more proof of concept then really harmful
you could ask yourself why would the cookers who are private people like you can me
add things from that handful to the roms they make ?

I know, that PC-viruses doesn't work on Windows Mobile platform, but there is still "programs" that will do something what I don't wanna risky to my phone.
Do you know, that is there some kind of Antivirus-program wich I can scan my phone after it is flashed with cooked ROM?
I know that there are AV-programs to WM6.1-platform.

Hi there,
As my friend above says, there is no threat from spyware, virus etc on PPC, the only one that i ever came across years ago actually asked you if you wanted to install it, obviosuly the reply was "no thanks". I seriosuly would not worry about it, there are many AV programms for our devices which are a total waste of your money.
All of the chefs on xda are cooking for the masses, if you read the threads you would obviously see someone reporting such a thing. In my years here i have never seen such an incident happen.
Go ahead, read and flash to your hearts content. Always ensure when you can, that you have an official rom downloaded and ready should you have a bad flash or a bad experience

How can I get original ROM for my Samsung Code

Hi! I'm trying to get the original ROM for my Samsung Code I was lookin for one cooked without results, so I wanna cook mine for the first time.
And also can I install WM6.5? because this phone comes with WM6.1

i am also lookin for the same thing.. but it looks like this forum is only for htc devices,, so i guess we are not gonna find anything around here, but if you find something please let us know.. i will still looking for it, imma let you know if i find something..

There is some debate as to whether or not the forum will add support for other devices. Personally I think the more devices on this forum, the better!

I mean when i install programs and grab the standard
6.5 and wanna customize, is it like drag and drop, when u wanna add stuff you like install it to the emulator OS, and when you maybe finally wanna add sense you install it and can u customize it then? or will it been need aside or something.

[Q] Switching from T-Mobile to a O2 branding

I have a T-Mobile Germany branded Omnia 7 and I want to switch it to the O2 WP7 Rom so that I can use the O2 services and the TelMap Navigator Software thats free for O2 customers. Is there a particular CSC file that might have this information in it. thanks

I want to make a simmilar thing because I have US TMobile HD7 and I want it in Spanish (This ROM only have English).. Want to know if possible..

Theres a key for changing your carrier but you are looking something else than him..... anyway install mango it has spanish as language

Thanks for trying to help, but I really need to know if I can flash a Stock WP7 ROM, no T-Mobile, no AT&T, just stock..
And I don't really want to install Mango, I'm trying to keep the emotion for september (if I don't like Mango, I think I'll say bye bye to WP7 and get an EVO 3D)..

First, I don't think Mango sucks, but if it disapoints me, I THINK I will change to Android :S
I don't want NoDo, because I want to have the Chevron and have apps (No Marketplace support in my country) :S

hmmm maybe try this thread if it doesnt help i wont bother you again i hope that you dont need interoperability .... since that wouldnt work with sideloading but the other apps are ok
i dont know if mango is supporting market place in argentina yet .... http://www.gottabemobile.com/2011/0...crosofts-windows-phone-7-international-reach/ its not in the list for marketplace but for localised service ..... so maybe i will work
edit: change region to chile ..... probably sucks but at least its closer and in spanish

Argentina support is coming later in the year. As for Apps depends on what you are looking for alot of people don't understand or get that the most used Apps in iOS or Android are are baked right into Mango. This is the issue and the lie that alot of iOS and some Android fanboys and journalist are spreading, well WP7 does not have the 100s of thousand apps as the other 2 well for 90% of people it is not needed and is just there so figure out what you want. Learn the system and you will find lots of hidden surprises.
