Hi all,
Does anyone know if its possible to auto hide (after a set time) or disable completely the nag screen warning that a bluetooth headset has disconnected please?
When I leave my car I get this message every time and it is bugging the hell out of me having to keep pressing 'dismiss' to clear it, even if it happened hours ago.
Thanks.
I have got a Touch Pro 2
I've searched the forum today, because I had the same problem. It was very annoying and found a solution for this problem

Hi guyz,
Googled it with no real solution, nobody in the Touch Pro forum seem to have it either.
Is there any way to disable waking my ppc or at least lock the touch panel on notifications like low battery, appointments etc. Message notification is easy to disable, Answerkeys Disabler works like charm when it comes to incoming calls but I want to disable waking up the device on any notification and have only audible alerts.
Often when in pocket or case my TP wakes on low battery or appointment reminder and starts random dialing, texting, etc. which is getting annoing.
Thanks in advance,
dEM
there may be a registry key you can delete so that you don't get notifications at all.... i'm not real sure about which ones though. i'll look around.
EDIT: SHNotificationRemove at msndn :

Good question, hope someone has an answer
how about usin s2u2? doesnt solve it exactly but maybe a workaround?
There are some locking solutions over there. I'm looking for one that doesn't lock my device all the time but only on these notifications. The best will be if it doesn't even wakes up.
Just great! More than a month I've been trying to find a solution to this problem with no success!
Hi,i hope this keeps the thread alive,i would also like to know if its possible and how
Me Too!
I have this exact same problem. When a reminder alerts me on the phone it wakes up the unit and turns the display on. If this stays in my holder it just keeps the phone on because it senses all the pushing... We have a PIN enable so it won't do anything major. But there are times I've pulled out my phone to find it awake (on) and there are * in the password field - so I know it is sensing touches when in the holder. This definitely drains the battery.
HELP PLEASE! Any Fix found?
I'm having this problem as well - anybody out there got any ideas...?
I hate how there seems to be no solution to this! It didn't happen to me in WM6.1, so it must be buried within 6.5 in some dark, fetid, unreachable place :-(
I keep accidentally dialing people with my bum when one of my reminders goes off. Grr!
EDIT: I did finally cave and install a slide to unlock feature (S2U2) which I got from http://a2-s2.com. I was surprised with the level of customization you can do with this program, and I do love how I can have the slider's wallpaper change randomly, so I am greeted with a different image each time I unlock the phone. I know it's not what any of us were looking for, but it's a workable solution for now.
I've since gotten round this by using PocketShield - works well for me. Doesn't work well with the PIN lock though....
I'm using Smartlock for locking the screen; incoming call and stand return from suspend.
It has an option "suspend after lock".

disable wake on notification
finally figured it out, a few years later.
still can't find a factory setting for it, but i downloaded NILS (notification lock screen) and it gives you the option to disable wake on notification. hope it helps
I tried asking this in the big question thread, but since no one reads that one I'll ask it here.
When I recive text messages the vibrator goes of and stays on for like 10 sec. That is fine for phone calls, but om SMS I'd like a short burst instead.
I see no reson to waste battery time having the phone vibrate for so long.
In the setting I only find the option to enable or disable the vibrator.
I have also looked for some 3rd party software, but I have only found software where I can make the phone vibrate when touching the touch screen.
Same
I have the same issue. It was not a problem in Windows 6.1, so I'm guessing it's just something we have to deal with for now? From what I remember, the extended vibrate is only when the screen is locked... and currently it seems that the new Windows lock has been giving a lot of problems.
Is this the case for you?
Hi,
When somebody is calling you is ****ing anoying ti slide the bar up, and the buttons to hung up are smalls. There isn't any shortcut for the handsfree and many other defects....
Anyone knows any good alternative?
Thanks
Use bluetooth. You can't escape your fate of wearing bluetooth 24/7
There is an app to change the lock screen, but I donĀ“t remember the name. Anyway if you are connected to a bluetooth headset you are able to answer over the headset or the phone. Both works fine.
are u kidding? like if we have battery left
there should be any program to change/add buttons and make it more usable
i don't know about you but my battery last 24 hourish with bluetooth on all time.
Download no lock
No Lock (the app) give you the ability no to have your phone lock ever.
I had the same problem like you did but not anymore I am so happy I dont have to deal with that slilly lock bar that always gets stuck in the middle!
Hi,
I got the Huawei watch 2 with latest software installed. However my watch stopped showing if I get a call, additionally if I start the call on the watch it's still calling with my phone, not the watch. I had this issue 4 days ago and fixed it by resetting the watch. Sadly the issue is back now and I really don't want to reset my watch every 4 days Anybody an idea how i can fix it?
Thanks in advance for any help
Flatric
I have exactly the same problem. My solution is to disable and enable back the bluetooth on my phone (you can do it also on your watch) so that your watch will attempt to connect again. After re-establishing the bluetooth connection, it works fine for some time, but then the issue comes back. Did you find any better solution to it?
Me too. Really winding me up (watch pun unintended).
Toggling BT or restarting either phone or watch fixes it.,but only for a while.
I also can't choose to switch to the watch when on a call on my phone.
My idea is to run on the phone MacroDroid script that will disable BT and after 5 seconds enable the it back. And to let it run every 30 mins. But i would expect it to be fixed on the Huawei side...
The only way to fix this is to let huawei Wear OS team know they're messing up. But first need to know the correct contact for that team.

How would that work? I've installed MacroDroid and see that I can set a macro to disable BT every half and hour but to set a macro to turn BT back on after 5 seconds means you need to set it to work every 30 minutes and 5 seconds.
By my reckoning that 5 second gap will go out of sync meaning that the time with BT disabled will get longer...
Also, it will disconnect from other devices every 30 minutes which will do my head in when I'm listening to music! ?
I know it's not your problem dude and if I'm wrong or there's a simpler way to go about it than please let me know. It's very frustrating having a device that doesn't do what it's meant to ?

[update] I've answered my own question by looking at the MacroDroid app properly. There's an action to toggle Bluetooth at a chosen interval.

[(another)update] This doesn't work. All any of the attempts and permutations I've tried on MD do is turn off Bluetooth - it won't seem to toggle back on,even when I set that as a separate macro.
I give up
Calls on the watch sound crap anyway! ?
Anyone else having problems with the watch loosing connection to the phone? And only solution is to power cycle the watch.
I had it happen once over the last week I had watch (got it on 8/26). It connected then unconnected repeatedly. After I power cycled phone and watch it never happened again. I'm connected to watch via bluetooth. Did you have issue once or repeatedly? Since I cycled powered it has been rock solid. I let my watch get to 1% on last charge and I never lost connection.
Drops a least once a day. Toggling Watch BT off then on restores it. Don't need to pwer cycle. Got an update today, maybe that'll fix it.
only happens for me when i'm too far away from phone... BUT is there no way to disable this annoying vibration on disconnect?
setting in developer settings isn't functional.
if anyone finds out how to disable this PLEASE let me know
