Hi fellows
Is there an app for streaming realplayer and media player formats?
The purpose is watching television e.g. from wwiTV.
there is now a Real Player beta app for your to download via market.
I can't find it with my Tattoo?
So it could be pretty nice if we could stream with the mms profile e.g.
Is there an App or Browser out there that supports Live Streaming Video? I've tried using Dolphin HD, Opera, and Skyfire and I can't see the video stream. If anyone wants, check out this link (It is the website for the church I go to): Oasis Online Church
and see if you guys can watch the video. They stream video at 9:30A, 11:30AM, 2:00PM, and 6:00PM. I'm on EE4, Rooted, and Stock.
I'd appreciate this as well, a lot of people on YouTube I watch have live streams and it'd be cool to watch them from my phone :]
I wonder if I could watch tv channels, on PC I use VLC player to open mms, rtsp, m3u or http links, which opens some TV channel. I would like to have a TV on my tablet, like I have on my PC.
Is it possible on android?
Thank you
Is there a way by which we can play the videos from mobile to smart TV wirelessly through MX player ???
Sent from my XT1033 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Try BubbleUPnP. It handles the streaming part to UPnP and can use MX Player to render the video.
BubbleUPNP uses MX as the renderer when streaming from server to phone. Bubble from phone to TV, the TV would have to be the decoder as that's how the DLNA specification works (decode on the receiving side).
I'm trying to figure out how to cast videos from a browser or local content from an app such as VLC, with my oneplus 7 pro to my LG tv.
I can use the casting feature on the youtube app no problem and I can cast my whole screen to the tv but in a chrome browser or other chrome based browser like brave or edge, I never see a cast icon when I'm watching video content.
Similarly, I've read that there VLC app for android has supported casting for a while but I don't see the cast icon in the app either. Although I do see "casting" in settings.
Yes my phone is on the same WiFi and the tv, and again I can cast my whole screen and with the YouTube app, but apparently nothing else.
Thanks for any advice and tips.

The cast option does not appear because you do not have a Chromecast (or android tv with Chromecast support) device at home. This is different for youtube because every TV with the YouTou app supports "casting" youtube from a device. But it's not really casting, it's more controlling as if you had a remote app on your phone.
Smart TVs use MiraCast or BubbleUPnP, or even AirPlay (for Apple TVs).
SO in short you can't cast anything to your screen with regular android apps or your browser because this is available only for Chromecast.
There are alternatives tho. You can download apps that are meant to use Miracast or other cast technologies. I use Tubio, it's a web browser with a solid pop/ ad blocker, and with which you can cast every video content to your smart tv. It support MiraCast, BubbleUPnP, AirPlay and Chromecast so no more struggle!
Thanks, I'll check out tubio.
