Guys i have a big big problem here.... my mdac is dead, is in bootloader mode... I have tried to flash the rom how is described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=144686#144686 but i see the screen of the rom version empty (i tried several times...)
So i decided to do the reflash by an sd card, i downloaded the nb1 file from ftp (if you have a .nb1 file to send me i apreciate that )written it on the sd with ntrw, inserted in my mdac (blocked in bootloader) but nothing happens! Reset and reset but nothing!
What can i do?! How can i relive my mdac?!
HELP ME PLS!!!!
P.s. when i reset it with the sd inserted and the usb connected the pc says that is an unknown USB device... if i reset again without the sd inserted it reconize the mdac how a ms sync cable... the ActiveSync USB check is unselected...
P.p.s I have posted the same topic in the giude for the sd upgradig... sorry for that but i'm disperated!
* first uncheck the USB connection of active sync.
* run the command ntrw write rom.nb1 x: in the command prompt window where fixed.nb1 is the filename of the ROM and x the SD card drive letter.
* Put your SD card into your MDA and get your MDA to boot loader mode again (power+camera+reset buttons). On your unlighted screen you will see it says serial wait and after some seconds it will say (Press Power to flash).
* Do as it says and it will start flashing. When your MDA reaches 100% flashing, it will check the checksum. Don't worry about the message Checksum failed - Flashing failed and soft reset your MDA.

Hi had already done this operation... but nothing...
i had to do with the mda connected to the pc? On the screen don't appear nothing... only serial v 1.00 (or usb v1.00 if is connected at the pc)
have you a backup of your rom that can i put on my sd? So i'm sure that it works...
I'm going crazy...
I don't have the backup rom of my mdac, how can i do? There's somewhere an original rom for the Tmobile German Mdac? I read that i need to overwrite first 416bytes of the rom to upgrade with the first 416 of the old rom, but i haven't it...
i'm a really newbie! i hope someone helps me... don't leave me alone
Hello All,
I follow the upgrade guide, when doing the step "8. Downloading your New ROM onto your Magician", I press the Power, Camera and Reset buttons at the same time to go to "Boot-loaded" mode. But the screen DOES NOT show "SD Download", it still show "Serial".
Please help!!
I am using O2 mini limited edition.
Thanks,
Jack
Jack,
Try putting your SD in your PC card-reader again, when it doesn't want to format it the writing of the rom with ntrw has failed in such a way that a mbr is still present on your sd. Is it the same card as you used for dumping your own rom? Did you dump at all?
To solve your problem
- stay in bootloader
- connnect usb (now your magician reads USB)
- dump your own rom on the SD, this will destroy the mbr & now ntrw will write the rom-image at the beginning of the Sd & your magician will see it.
- make a back-up from your SD with ntrw if you like
- write back the image, you have from your previous attempt, with ntrw
- put the SD in your magician, still in bootloader
- now it should read 'press power to flash'
Good luck, M

You have to HOLD the three buttons until you see the screen that says to hit the power screen to update. If you don't get that screen, load the .nb1 file back onto the SD card again.
I had to hold the three buttons for several seconds.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply!
But I encouter any other problem. After following the procedure, the SD download screen was shown it shows 100% and everything run smooth. Then I hard reset my o2 mini. After that the memory still not change (64MB + 64MB). I am using the file mksBigStorage112.nb1.
Does anyone know what is the problem ?
Thanks,
Jack
Jack,
The device only has 64Mb. Take a look at the storage folder, this should be around 27Mb. Start -> Settings -> system -> Memory -> second tab & select Storage.
Cheers, M
oh, ic. But still has around 7mb.
Are you sure that you didn't flash your own dump back, cause this is not the expected result.
Try again pls etc etc & more of these predictable phrases.
Regards, M

You updated your ROM to a new version, but not a BIG STORAGE version.
To get more storage, you have to flash with a BigStorage ROM. There are several threads here describing the process in detail. Do a search on "Big Storage Explained" or such and you will get detailed instructions.
mksBigStorage112.nb1
Sounds like a BS to me.
I need to reload my SPV m600 from the SD card, ok i didnt back up because at the time I didnt know how to,
I am at the moment only able to get the three colour (red, green, blue) screen up when plugged into the mains !!! I can however dump an IMG on the SD card with isutils and press the camera and it tries to load.
I cant find an IMG file for my device. Any pointers would be great
Thanks anybody for any help what so ever.
Hello everyone!!! (1st post here, though I sometimes read around)...
I lost my flash disk in my Navman S50 (actually, I messed it up myself: low level formatted it and didn't repartition before restarting S50).
My S50 starts with the little WinCE 5.0 core it has. I can have access to the SD card within my PC (via USB) and within WinCE (via FilemanCE or TotalCommander), but I don't have access to the Flash disk..
How can I recover that (if anyhow)?
No one can help?
I guess nobody can help this time
I guess you can try to do a rom update if you know how..
best of luck with that!
Hello, guys.
I want back to stock because of service reasons. I have cyanogenmod 3.7.0, android version 2.3.6
Now I downloaded the file (6.5 update) from HTC sites, and I'm curious about few things. The file contain 210 mb or so, and on my HTC I have 199 mb left on the internal memory - could this occure any problems regarding the install?
Also, I downloaded Minitool partition wizzard program to delete all partitions on my SD card and return back to FAT32.
Is this a hard task? Please, I really need help!!
Also after all this has been done, should I turn off the phone, hold volume down button and power on and get into boot mode, plug in USB, wait for USB-recognision, and then just run the file I downloaded from HTC?
Please help!!
#thanks to tmihai20 for help!
