i thought it would be unhelpful if it was testkeys and not released keys? for all that commotion about DDR not wanting to release it to protect his sources, im surprised he gave it up.

the difference is its suppoes to be the highly anticipated 32A sense ui update for magics. native rosie for magic. different from other hero updates is this is not meant for hero, so no porting is needed to get it to work on magics.

yah the people widget is fatty i kinda figured after flashing that it wasnt the real deal due to speed and some other things that didnt feel right

all i am waiting for is the wifi fix and i will flash this baby. honestly the fastest hero rom i have tried on my MT3G was CRISPhero, it was from addeway and another dev, they merged their roms into a megarom haha. hasnt been updated in a month though. same with SENSEhero, cept its been since NOVEMBER since that puppy has been updated, ccryowski has gone AWOL

I think hero is awesome, but 1.5 is almost out dated and obsolete.
sure its cool looking and stable, but if We cant use current apps,
whats the point.

Regardless I believe 1.5 is much smoother than espresso and 2.1 Hero. Time being I use 1.5 roms because of the completeness and stability of them. This build uses backing swap..dont understand why but im changing it to make my own custom build

Yeah! but I will wait for the whole application one.
well yeah, I will wait for an OE port or the hero rom from kingclick ,
but for a test and getting a feeling on how this works and behaves it was quite good
the rom itself might be a little buggy since the APN list was wrong for my german vodafone for example, or the mentioned force close,
but seeing the galary in shiny 3d with the nice floating in / out of pictures was worth the wipe
The Eclair Hero ROM from Kingclick might already be working with 3D on 32B as well (more or less).

I'll add the porting packages to the Kingclick 32A port thread if someone confirms to me that it's working for him on 32B/G1 as well. Everyone seems to be testing just the ahmgk's Eclair ROM port

Downloading my port and then porting it back to 32B should be the preffered way in this case, but you can try applying my 32B patch directly on top of Kingclick's Hero just as well. The worst that should happen this way is that the ROM might not boot or 3D won't work.
If you download my ROM port, port it back to 32B and it DOES boot, then I'm pretty confident the 3D will work as well.
Wow, how is everyone not all over this. I can confirm this DOES work on Complete Eclair 1.2Black. The live wallpapers all preview, but don't launch on the home screen, sure its a very small fix. Just flash over your rom and go

btw the open eclair team was able to get all the 3D drivers and stuff last night. Wesgarner posted a video (****ty quality) of the 3d in action. Most live wallpapers work although there are some problems which they are working on. I quote "expect a release soon". Thats all from yesterday.

This Rom is using supper d's kernel and build for now, and is heavily optimized. We took the fastest Roms made for 32b(the g1, and the mytouch 3g for people who didnt know that) and combined them together to make this Rom. domenuk the creator of blue magic, xillius200 the creator of OpenRemix, and my self first time Dev decided to bring a extremely fast, and stable Rom to the community, and this is what we came up with.. hope you like it
This version introduces something fresh and new. I think and hope it works.
after some weeks every rom tends to get slower, even if you uninstall all your apps. what often helps is clearing all that google cache stuff.
this rom does this on boot
I am quite shure it will be included in most of the roms anytime soon... but for now this makes that rom the fastest avaliable
(Plus they will hopefully have my name somewhere in the credits )
Also zipaligning everything on boot. no longer neede for apps built with sdk 1.6 but.. you never know... Thanks to wesGarner for that script

If you want all your caches cleared (Literally all... I think it clears hundrets of apps), buy it. Also If you want to donate, buy this app instead

Taking something, adding something, improving something... that's esier than actually building a rom from scratch/source - but it has to been done anyway.
I guess most people don't have time for creating an own theme, implementing everything and so on.
with many different packages, there is a huge variety.
Why should the same work be done over and over again by everybody?
You can just find one that suits you best.
You don't have to flash them, if you want to do all this stuff on your own
Eclair is still not superior to donut imho. Still waiting for an official magic 32b build.

what is fully good in this build :
- phone of course...
- battery indicator : I used my phone with 12% and it works yet !! I will test in charge
- Wifi
- BT (not tested with audio car)
- MMS : you can receive and send
- GPS with Igo (not yet for a long time)
- synchronize data
- market (I think full but I'm not sure)
- Rogue tools (just for density, I use 107)
- live wallpapers
And I hope in V1.3 better speed for incoming...

The wifi is working without any update.
Try it and have fun.

No update : works very fine and faster
I tested more and it works perfectly except what we know of eclair build (BT audio...).
GPS is good also with IGO.
Sometimes I loose the network and sometimes in the end of communication, it freeze between a few seconds and after it's ok

I think better is 240*320 because you have the best light for the screen
And with Rogue you can set the density what you like (107 is good)...

yeah and it's smooth and beautifull
battery life and gps is also greater with very latest dzo's (48 hours at first rom attempt)

i've heard people still playing with their donut today
better than the warm donut?
incubus was better for me than myn's donut, but had some little beta cyanogen issues
aqtrans' rom is better and faster than incubus' and battery life is very good despite of little stock overcloaking (450 mhtz)
for my use anyhow (apn,3G,gps)
For 240/320 120 density, eclair is 10 time better than donut for lisibility, especialy with "dialer one" apk
And i can't bare using another density
beginning from today, using donut is a little mistake
